The gallery has a nice collection of photography, art, and jewelry. It is hard to remember that you are not in a museum and that you can buy stuff! After time in the park, we really appreciated the artistic interpretation of things we saw. The skills in the photography were impressive for the right day/time/exposure/editing. We bought a photograph mounted on aluminium. It was well packed and arrived at our home in perfect shape. We now have a daily reminder on our wall of our time in Zion. We look forward to our next trip and keepsake from DeZion.

This was by far my favorite gallery when I visited the Springdale/Zion area. The gallery is very welcoming and has so much variety, from photography to paintings to beautiful sculpture and jewelry they have it all. We met the owners while there, they are extremely nice and I love Jason’s photography. His images of Zion are stunning and unique. I also love all the paintings of the southwest, especially the paintings by Carol Bold. I would buy all of her art if I could! The jewelry in the back room is worth checking out, some of the prettiest stones and silver settings I have ever seen, with a good price range starting with very affordable pieces, a great place to buy unique gifts when visiting the area.

This review is strictly about the photography displayed in the gallery and the amazing artist behind the lens. Wow! I was blown away by Jason’s photographs. Springdale has three local photography artist with a gallery and they are all very talented, but the photo art at Dezion by Jason Butler was by far my favorite. We are hobby photographers and we felt very fortune to meet and shop talk with the artist and we can tell immediately how passionate he is about his craft and the amazing Nature that surrounds his home. Jason’s photos reflects who he is. In his photos you can feel the humble love and respect he has for nature and he has honed his craft to capture that love in the most amazing photographs. I wish I had 10% of his talent! Although we walked in close to closing time, he spent quite a bit of time with us talking about where and how the various photos were taken and showed us some of his favorite lenses giving even more life and the stories behind the photos. Strangely, one of my favorite photos was the night shot of the Hoover Dam. We only met him once but we left feeling like we made a new friend. Make sure and stop by the gallery when you visit Zion and say hello to Jason!
