Located near the bus stop #2, or only two minutes walk from the visitor center, the location was perfect place to stop for a quick bite to eat. When I saw a long line for a local bus, I didn’t feel like standing in line, and decided to walk back to my hotel. Well it was almost dinner time and this was the closest restaurant. Service was excellent. A server noticed that I was using a water cup on my knees, she asked me if she could bring a bag of ice. She also took time to explain about drinks and food. I had an organic Amber local beer on draft, tasted so good for a hot day like today. Samosas appetizer had nice curry taste to it, sweet sauce went well with spicy curry. Orange chicken was nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. We’ve been eating out every day, it was nice to mix cousins, and I appreciate they have Asian food option. Just don’t expect anything authentic.

Everyone, avoid this place and save your hard earned money. It is tempting to try this place considering it is the only Thai restaurant in town. We were visiting Zion National Park and wanted some Thai food. The first night we walked in we saw a group of 3 ahead of us that had been waiting for several minutes to speak with a hostess. Multiple employees walked right by them and didn’t even acknowledge them. There was also a table looking around for their waiter. I overheard the lady say that they had been waiting for 10 minutes and hadn’t even gotten their waters. We decided we would come back the next night… We came back and were seated immediately. Definitely an improvement from the prior night. We ordered a family size Tom Yum to start. It was horrible. There was absolutely no resemblance of tom yum. The soup was way too sour with no hint of spice. The vegetables they put in there are not common in tom yum. We couldn’t even finish it. For our entrees we ordered pad Thai, fried rice, and Bach Sio Noodles. The pad Thai was easily the worse pad Thai we have ever had, I’m not even sure you could call it pad Thai. It tasted like noodles tossed in peanut butter. It’s never good when you’re questioning whether they used Jif or Peter Pan peanut butter. We tried ordering fried rice with fried tofu. For some reason the waitress insisted that we wanted vegan fried rice(vegan being no egg). We were trying to say we just wanted regular fried rice but with fried tofu as our protein instead of chicken, beef, etc. Instead we got vegan fried rice with fried tofu AND an additional charge for egg which I think ended up being more expensive. The Bach Sio Noodles weren’t bad at all but lacked the amount of noodles you’d expect… in a noodle dish. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The only thing they had going for them was the cold beer, but then again I could get one of those from the gas station down the street. Save yourself the hassle and the money and satisfy your Thai food craving when you get back home. The overall meal was extremely terrible and way overpriced.

Well the only reason I’ve been here is that it is close to Zion National Park. It is more like a pan-Asian restaurant. They ask 4 dumplings for 8 bucks, which is intolerably pricey. I ordered their Thai curry, which they claim is served with sweet potato, but is actually with zucchini, which I really dislike. The food is no better than mediocre. My friend said the phở is okay though. Most dishes are highly westernized. Their menu uses many adjectives, but believe me they are just marketing. The place is full of customers. The food is served slow and it seems they need more waiters. 价格偏贵,要排队,上菜慢,很多菜西化严重。也就还算能吃吧,景区边填饱肚子。

Do yourself a huge favor and don’t come here unless you never had thai food before and don’t know what authentic real Thai food tastes like. My girl friends and I were craving Thai food and we came with pretty low expectations given that we were in springdale and we assumed this place was going to be more catered to an American taste. They also had barbecue on their menu but due to limited staff, they’re unable to serve that. We were disappointed. Why have it on the menu then? We ordered papaya salad, Tom kha soup with chicken, pad Thai with beef, banh xeo with shrimp and chicken satay. It was terrible. Here’s the down low: –papaya salad: it was bland and didn’t even taste like Thai papaya salad. Actually it’s not papaya salad. It was really sweet. –chicken satay: only decent thing we tasted. –Tom kha soup: it was a concoction of a bunch of random things that’s not in your typical Tom kha soup and was overly flavored with coconut. The chicken was extremely dry and there was only less than 5 dinky pieces and it had so much vegetables. Broccoli? Who puts broccoli?! –pad Thai: don’t get me started. It was so chalky and disgusting. How can they even call that pad Thai? We each only had one bite. The beef was dry, cooked too long and it seemed the beef was just sitting out for too long and stir fried into the noodles. –banh xeo: this was probably the most edible thing for dinner besides the Thai tea. Now matter how much Sriracha or chili sauce we put on the food, it still didn’t taste good. If there’s any consolation, service was great and very attentive.

I can’t say enough good things about Dennis, his wife and the wonderful staff at Thai Sapa! I had my wedding reception here in May, and not only were they accommodating on very short notice(I had to switch venues at the last minute) but the food was FANTASTIC and the service was exceptional. I had a wedding party of roughly 60 people, including vegans, meat eaters, children and several people intollerant to spicy food and the service was executed without issue and the food was incredible! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Springdale area, and thank you again to Dennis and the amazing staff for making our wedding magical!

When you think of Zion you likely don’t think Thai food. I sure didn’t but this place is great. We went with a very large group and they killed it. They made sure everyone was well fed and the drinks were flowing. They were super helpful and considering the size of our group they nailed it. So glad we ended up here. If you are in Zion and looking for something other than«cowboy grub» check this place out.

Way too pricy. I mean, I understand Springdale is a tourist town. But the food here totally not worth the money. Pad Thai was nothing more than rice noodles mixed with peanut butter. Fried rice was blank and small portion but cost $ 13. I will come back to Zion sometime, but not here.

Great service! We stopped here for lunch. No msg added. There is a 20% gratuity charge on your bill but most restaurants here do the same. I recommend tipping in cash to help the waiters. There was no WiFi here.

Really liked this little joint in the heart of Zion. Taryn and Jaymes were very friendly and explained in detail any questions we had about the items on the menu. I got the noodle bowl with bbq pork and it was very good. I also had the appetizer eggrolls and they were also quite good. ps. Jaymes looks so much like Ben Stiller that we thought we were being punked.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I don’t want to get too ranty about my experience because it could have been an isolated incident, but our meal here was terrible. We ordered a tom yum soup, pad thai, a curry, and a house special called a thaimale. The curry was fine, but the other two dishes were the most bizarre interpretations of standard thai cuisine. My tom yum soup tasted sweet(very unusual for this dish). It was loaded with mushrooms that were badly bruised and wrinkled, they looked like they could have been moldy if they weren’t cooked in the broth, they tasted off. The pad thai tasted like they had just sauteed the noodles in peanut butter. Despite the bizarre main dishes, the thaimale was actually quite good, the masa was steamed perfectly. Unfortunately, the best tasting item was also the most problematic, we ordered the vegan version of the thaimale, and it had both chicken and tofu in it. The friends I was dining with are vegan and it was only after having a bite that we discovered the chicken in the dish. The server apologized for the mistake, but then blamed the woman who made the masa/tamale, saying it was because her, «enlglish wasn’t great.» This was very disappointing and offensive way to explain a serious problem that in all likelihood was the fault of the person making the curry rather than that of the women who make the masa. The matter of being served vegan food that contains meat and mushrooms that should have been thrown out days before making it into the soup, left me feeling like this business does not respect or appreciate its customers. I hope that my experience was not the norm.

Place wasn’t only half full so the service was very attentive. The variety of cuisine was maybe too diverse, covering most popular Asian dishes. While this seemed enticing at first, we soon realised that maybe they should just stick to one type of cuisine. The food started off great, with the Fried Coconut Prawn entrée being amazing right to the very last bite. It was so fresh and crunchy, we would’ve been happy getting full on just those. The Indonesian salad I thought was going to be the traditional Gado Gado salad with peanut sauce, but I was mistaken. A lightly tangy coleslaw mix salad was in place, and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste as it didn’t look so appetising. Next, the main meals. The Thai Coco curry was very watery and was probably the worst curry I’ve had. It wasn’t terrible, but I’ve had great curries, and this is deserved bottom ranking. The Tom Yum Noodle soup was also very sweet, with no hint of spice whatsoever– another bottom ranking from me. It was edible, but it was the worst Tom Yum soup I’ve had. Prices weren’t cheap. The only thing holding up my rating is the amazing Coconut Prawn and impeccable service from the waitress. She really knew how to organise the tables. The timing of the dishes coming out and the cleaning of the dishes were well thought out, no premature taking away of the plates and she just knew how to work the place.

Had dinner here last night after walking around for several hours in Zion. We had low expectations because it is so close to the western entrance of the park, but were pleasantly surprised by the gluten free, vegan and meat options, so this is a great place if you are traveling with people who have diverse dietary needs. There is parking in the back, and also up and down the street. We got there around 8:30 pm and the place was packed. Had to wait approx 10 min to be seated. We ordered the Thai coco curry and the Yellow curry — each dish served with jasmine rice and a side salad for $ 14.95. The plates were beautifully put together with a nice portion of curry and over a cup of rice, plus the salads which came with dressing on the side. We only drank water because we were wary of the elevation and dehydration, but they serve wine and beer as well. We both loved our meals, thought the place was clean and smelled great, thought the service was great — friendly, efficient, and enjoyed the experience. At the end of the meal we also asked to have our water bottles refilled and they happily obliged us. Definitely recommend!

Average Thai food at best. I will say the food was fresh. The problem is, it was bland. The pad thai had practically no taste. Prices are high but portions are fairly generous. This is a small restaurant, so if it is dinner hour, it is not likely that you will get a table. I have eaten Thai food all over the US, this restaurant is okay, but unimaginative in preparation and ingredients. Our server was very helpful and courteous.

Long wait, pricey, small amount of food They forgot to add the Thai in my Thai food. I ordered the fried rice with chicken and pineapple. It was bland. It wasn’t mixed well. I also ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp. It came in a bowl. It had broccoli which I’ve never seen before. I liked the twist they added to it. It doesn’t taste like the regular tom yum soup but it was good.

Food was excellent, beyond our expectations. I’m putting 4 star cause it was way too expensive. But yOu cannot find better option than this in the middle of the rocks. Menu was unique with Plenty of vegan and Vegetarian options. Everything was organic. We order Thai fajita, yellow curry, Veggie StirFry and Chicken fried rice. Service was great.

Clean, relaxing atmosphere, except that they had no music on so it felt eerily quiet. Service was friendly and low key. We ordered the Thai Coco and Panang Curry. Both were fresh and tasty. The veggies tasted like they weren’t from a freezer. We also got the Springdale Rolls, and they were excellent. Unique offering among Springdale restaurants. They do take cards, but not Amex. Will definitely go back.

Came to Thai Sapa after a long 6 mile hike. We found out that there was a water break in town and Thai Sapa was one of two restaurants left open! Our kind waiter seated us, noting we wouldn’t get refills on water(understandably) and we heard him turn away the couples after us, saying they only could do take out and no more sit downs. Talk about luck! Our expectations were not that high, as Thai Sapa is the only Asian cuisine in town it seems, but we were pleased with the Fried Rice and Thai Coco. The Pad Thai was only okay, and samosas as well. I recommend ordering the Thai Coco, which my boyfriend and cousin were sneaking spoonfuls of when I wasn’t looking! Thai Sapa is one of the places where your food experience will really depend on the dish you order. Finally, I cannot say enough how gracious our waiter was(dark beard and tattoos!), and the fact that they remained open was truly a service to the travelers(like us) who had limited options because of the water emergency. Thanks Thai Sapa, we’ll be coming back next time we’re in Springdale!

Probably by far the worst Thai food I’ve had, ever. Came on a busy Monday night holiday and understandably, service was slow so we decided to forgo a sit down and order take out. Placing the order was easy, I wanted my usual, Pad Thai with mixed vegetable. Easy enough right? After waiting for about 60 – 70 minutes(after being told it would take 15 minutes) the food comes out in a bag with silverware, perfect. Except the bag was really light and I was a little thrown off but proceeded to the car and back to the hotel because it was 830pm by this time. Got back and opened the bag and not only was there about less than two cups full of noodles and plenty of space in the containers, I gave it a try. One word, barely edible. Flavorless and over cooked noodles without any vegetables. Compete disappointment. I’d say, if you go here skip the Thai food, it seems like others had a positive experience. I give it a 1 for the quick order taking but fail on timing and most importantly, food.

Not bad for being the only Asian restaurant the area — the choices are plentiful and the food is decent… they have options of many asian fusions, including chinese, Vietnamese and indian. Very neat and clean presentation. Everyone in my family ordered a round of phos, aside from me, and no one was particularly thrilled about the lack of taste in the broth. It was still warm and soupy, so not too many complaints. I ordered a yellow curry, and it was very good. Packed with veggies and coconut flavor and bayleaf… so I can confirm this place does Thai well. Service was solid, although you can tell the holiday hours were draining the staff.

Solid Thai – especially for being in a little tourist town like Springdale. It was the best meal I had while staying in the Zion Lodge and I’d put it above the higher-rated restaurants in town like Oscar’s. We walked in a bit before 3:30 to find out that they were only doing take out at until 4p. We ordered pad Thai and green curry to go and had the order in hand in about 10 minutes. It wasn’t the best Thai I’ve ever had, but it was pretty tasty and certainly the best food I had in Springdale. The green curry was spicy, but not super-spicy the way it should be. I’m sure that’s an adaptation to the tourist nature of the town. I wasn’t thrilled with the Chinese, Vietnamese, snf other pan-asian food on the menu, but it didn’t seem to affect the quality of the Thai food we ordered.
