This is a great mom and pop Italian restaurante. Calzones are out of this world and fill you up on one serving. Variety of ingredients available to top pizzas with. Pizzas are average and the marinara sauce is deliciously thick. Lunch specials available and the prices are inexpensive for the portions you receive. Pay in cash to receive a discount when cashing out on a pickup.

*Addendum to last review… I posted a pic of my $ 8.5012′ Veggie and cheese grinder with EXTRA lettuce requested because ever since the lettuce shortage of years and years ago they really skimp on it… so I ask and PAY for EXTRA! What do ya think… do you see ANY lettuce… get ANTONIOS, lettuce is back to a buck a head retail… what do you pay? 50 cents each… a head… and screw your once loyal customers… adiós.

Unorganized at the counter. When I ordered my food, there was much more than just customer service type talk going on with another customer who had ordered. Not sure if this is what caused my order to be messed up but it is likely. I hate to stand and stare at my food being prepared but after 10 minutes I asked if my food was ready and one lady said yes I have everything except the jalapeño poppers. She asked another lady how much longer and I could tell by the dirty look she gave that she had not cooked any poppers yet. Food was ok. Had a steak a cheese, good but not enough steak. Fish n chips was ok but poppers were just fries cheese with very little diced jalapeño inside. Overall not bad for carry out.

Three stars for the food but 0 for the attitude the employees have. Forgot to make my pizza and failed to tell me they were out of certain foods I ordered until my pizza was made. Horrible experience but pretty good food

Unilocal says they deliver. I call and ask for delivery, lady gets pissed and says we don’t do thay, why would you think we deliver, I said that it said so on Unilocal, she laughs and hangs up. If you made a mistake just say so and change it. Or just don’t be a total jerk

Horrible service and awful staff(at least on Saturday night)! Three female employees are rude, unfriendly and look at the customers in an annoyed manner. They messed up two orders while I was waiting for my order. Cheese slices were $ 2.75. Half of my order was served WARM! While these girls were preparing customer’s food, they were complaining to each other about personal life out loud! One of the employees was handling money, then took a plastic bucket with chopped salad, mixed it with her nasty ungloved hands, put some lettuce into her mouth, continued playing with lettuce. And this is what you, dear customers, eat in your grinders and salads! Disgusting place! Never again will I come back! There are plenty of pizzarias in Springfield with better food and service. Antonio’s Grinders, you need to pay your employees properly! It is obvious your employees are unhappy, and dont care about your business. Your customers are disgusted about your restaurant! Time for change!

Pizza good but owner should be paying attention to what goes on here ordered it would be about 25 min then think they forgot to make it as i was told it would be another 25 min to a half hour been coming here for years but this is crazy will not come back. Two guy walked in and thought there was table service and not one of the staff said anything to them they walked out without ordering.

I would give this 4 star but a couple of the women who work there always have attitude. But thats only like 2 women but are constantly there when I go. Everyone is really friendly. The pizza is really good but it’s super greasy. And I get plain cheese but still good. And I really like their chicken tenders you get big pieces of chicken. I think the fried dough is average. My boyfriend think its great though. But its good pizza for a good price. They have a good deal after 5pm a large cheese is 9.99 or a large pepperoni 10.99 and for about 1 dollar more you can get a 2 liter.

Amazing staff… always friendly(even at 2am), homemade food, absolutely delicious… if you don’t try the homemade tortellini soup the you are missing out on one of the best experiences of your life! Try the pizza… or grinders… or anything… it’s all great!

well, i mean. you know. it is pizza. for the most part. if i was drunk, and it was 4am. and there was nothing else open. this would be brilliant. and then i would probably throw up. limp crust. tasteless sauce. cheese that lacks cheesiness. how do you suck the soul from a slice of pizza? i think i want to go back and try a grinder.

It’s solid. Not great, but not terrible either. The slices are BIG, and the flavors are good. The crust is a bit flavorless, but the sauce and cheese are tasty. We had 2 slices, an order of Mozzarella sticks, an order of the fried dough, and a chocolate milk for about $ 13.(Fed two people to the point of stuffed.)

I can describe this place in three words: cheap, dry pizza. The pizza was very dry. I am not even sure there was any sauce. The prices were cheap though. I was really hoping this would be a good find, but it wasn’t.

Someone needs to explain the difference between a chicken cutlet and a chicken patty to these people.
