Applebee’s

I am giving one star because I can’t give anything less. Disgusting food. i told the waitress today that the boneless chicken wings were undercooked. She ignored it. The entrée, which was a fried chicken breast was also undercooked. Raw? Despite me pointing it out to her, she did not even offer to replace it. I had to just ask for the check and walk out of there. The most disgusting service I ever had. I would never go back to Applebee’s again, any where for that matter. Just simply disgusting. Somebody some day is going to come down with food poisoning and they will pay the price for it then.

Went to this location last night with my wife and my friend and had the single most awkward experience I have ever had in a restaurant.
Our server, Cody, decided it was ok to place his foot on the empty booth seat where my friend was sitting while he took our drink order. I was flabbergasted. Working in the industry for 20 years, I have never seen that. Later on, he decided to hang out at our table crowding my friend who was sitting on the opposite side of my wife and me.
He took our drink order and then an appetizer order. Which, by the way, he had to come back and ask again for our order.
Our apps came out and were really good. I suggest you try the Kobe Style Meatballs, the Pomodoro is actually quite good.
We all then ordered steak. all medium rare.
Then started even more awkwardness. Our server, Cody, wouldn’t stop talking to me about how I must have worked at GameStop. or hung out with people from Gamestop. This conversation lasted 8 mins After I stated no I don’t work there and no I don’t know anyone there. Then was a conversation about his female companion and her child… and halo…
Familiarity is awesome, but not while there are 3 empty beer glasses… two empty app plates… and my wife needing a refill on her water.
Our meal comes out, I assume it was the manager on duty who brought them out. He pre-​bussed our table after delivering the meals. Just let that sink in. We ordered two rounds of drinks, Two appetizers, and it wasn’t until our meals came out that the table was cleared.
All the while our server was continuing with the gaming conversation.
As for the steaks, they were lackluster. Mine was the 12oz. Strip cooked completely over to medium well. My wife’s steak was nearly cooked blue style.
This is the first time i have had this kind of experience at this establishment. I don’t go often, but my wife is a big fan of the chain. I don’t think that changed but I’m fairly certain she might think about going somewhere else next time.

My daughter and I decided to try out this Applebee’s, based on a prior review indicating an improved menu. It was true! The menu looks more interesting and all the food we got was good. The service was very attentive, as well. We will be putting this back on our list of potential meal spots!

For several years I have shunned Applebee’s because it just seemed to lack a good menu and good service. With all th other restaurants that opened up, it just kind if fell off the grid. A few months ago, my wife and I were at hobby lobby and Applebee’s was close, so we said what the heck (this was after their remodeling and updating of their logo etc…) I am so impressed with Applebee’s now, I would highly suggest it to anyone who wants a great dining experience. The menu has so many options now. The two for $ 20 section is my favorite. You basically can get a $ 10 appetizer and two $ 12 – 13 dollar entrees for only $ 20.
The food. Wow! Is all I can say. The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. We have requested the same server because she was so great, but even when our regular server wasn’t there, the waitress was still awesome (and they even said she was new!). I give Applebee’s an A+++++ for stepping up and making a comeback. Come here if you want great food at an even better price
