As good as they say! Friendly service, tasty cold brew and pour over coffee. Totally worth a detour from I-​55.

Wow! Finally a great cup of coffee in Springfield. Their selection is region-​specific, some regions produce coffee that’s fruitier, another smokier, etc. And if you’re unsure they’ll ask you a few questions about what you prefer and recommend a brew. I think the Husband part of the partnership was the one who helped me out, and his recommendation was spot on. So happy to have found them! Best part – they’re only 2 blocks from the steps of the Capitol Building. I could go on and on about how cool their lids and cup holders are, but suffice to say that it’s obvious they put as much thought into presentation as they do on the product.

The best coffee in town. No frills, just great coffee. The owners are so nice. They even hosted a pour-​over coffee service at my wedding and were so easy to work with. It was a hit!

Custom Cup has a limited daily selection of coffee, but the choices are wonderful. I enjoy their house blends that can be found nowhere else in Springfield. In sunny weather you can sit outside and sip coffee with a pastry from the bakery next door. Not heaven, but relaxing.

Such a cute, locally-​owned coffee shop. We stopped here on the way from St. Louis to Chicago, and I had the best cold brew coffee I’ve ever had. The owners are so friendly, and the coffee is fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!

Locally owned coffee shop, they’re a husband & wife team who roast their own coffee in small batches. Some of the best, most flavorful coffee I’ve ever had and the BEST part is that it’s SO FRESH!
Bonus: they frequent the farmers market downtown. Nothing better than a hot (or iced) cup of their freshly brewed coffee in hand while perusing the various stalls at the farmers market. Some of their coffee is even roasted that very morning. I cannot express how happy that makes my lil coffee-​addict heart.
I have yet to visit their physical location, I can hardly wait!

Custom Cup is my morning routine. The owners and employees are very nice and knowledgeable. They have a rotating selection of delicious worldwide coffees roasted in house, available as drip, pour over, or cold press. Try them all, I have never been disappointed. Also, visit them at their stand at the downtown farmers market.

Blown away by their customer service today! I’d been hearing about CC for a while and had never made my way over. They were out at the Farmer’s Market this Saturday and appeared to be doing really well! Almost every couple or adult group walking around had a cold press (they should definitely have some custom cups with their names displayed for the free publicity while everyone is strolling! Pun intended). Anyway – all smiles. Super knowledgeable. And an amazing cup of joe! Making it a staple and kicking myself for taking so long to support this amazing local small business. It was great that they used square technology and I automatically got my receipt emailed to me and didn’t have to use cash like all of the other FM stands that day. Smart!

Great locally roasted coffee. They have 2 single origin beans avaliable at a time. They sell beans, but also have drip and pour over coffee avaliable. AND cold brew! Awesome place. Super friendly owners.

This place is perfect for a quick coffee pickup on the way to work. They brew multiple varieties of coffee (light or dark, robust or mild) that are available in drip or pour-​over serving styles. The coffee is roasted in-​house and you can buy a bag of the beans to brew at home.
The guy working the counter is super friendly and explained that they plan to put some sidewalk seating outside once the weather turns around. The shop just opened in November, but they’ve been roasting and serving at the Springfield farmers’ market for a while.
Sitting smack in the middle of downtown and a nice, quick stroll from the Capitol Building, Custom Cup is a great place to get some delicious caffeine.
