Definitely one of my favourite breakfast/brunch places. This place is perfect for some light, fresh breakfast/lunch bagels. Their bagels are fresh and they run out pretty quickly. They have a wide variety of bagels: multigrain, regular, garlic, sesame, cheeses, and a lot more. I love salmon, so my first choice was the NOVA Lox N Bagel and I absolutely loved it. It comes with cream cheese, capers, tomato slices, and onions(I had mine without the onion slices). All ingredients were fresh. They’re also generous with the salmon portion. Absolutely this one! I also paired it with some of the organic, boxed apple juice they have in the fridge and it was a perfect combination for me. I also tried their cinnamon pretzel bites and they were soft, sweet, and very good to have. Especially in winter when you need some coffee and any baked goodies with cinnamon. They’re packed in a cute box and I had them to-go and ate them on my way home. Was a nice way to end my brunch.

I love their bagels & shmear but it takes FOREVER if u order anything other than a a box of bagels to go and watch out because there are FLIESEVERYWHERE. The staff taking orders and preparing food today were very nice & pleasant and appeared to be working as fast as they could but the cashier was down right RUDE and snippy to us and to several people after us. We witnessed one customer after us who heckled and berated the cashier for her attitude and threatened to make a formal complaint. He crossed the line and made a scene and was even more rude than she was, but I don’t think the cashier did herself any favors by engaging with an obnoxious & irate customer. Not a pleasant way to start the afternoon.

Came here at 5:15 on a Thursday morning. There were two women behind the counter and I was greeted nicely enough by the woman taking my order. I told her I wanted a pumpernickel bagel, toasted, with honey almond schmear. I proceeded to the cash register and told the other woman I ordered a pumpernickel bagel with honey almond schmear and that I’d also like a small cup of coffee. The cashier was pleasant throughout our transaction. I paid then waited a couple of minutes when the first woman who took my order announced that a blueberry bagel was ready. At first, I thought it was for the next customer, but the cashier said the blueberry bagel was for me. I reminded her that I ordered pumpernickel. She was nice about it and told the other lady that I ordered a pumpernickel bagel. Well, the lady who took my order immediately got into a defensive mode and yelled, «you told me blueberry!» then looked at her co-worker, «she’s the one that said blueberry! she said she wanted blueberry! do you think I’m crazy?!» First of all, no one said she was crazy. I understand that it was early and somewhere between our short interaction there was some miscommunication. Working in food service isn’t easy– I know this because I worked in a bakery for two years. It can get frustrating and it’s ok to voice our frustrations to our co-workers, but her reaction was totally inappropriate and she should not have raised her voice. Anyway, I wrotr a complaint on the company website, but haven’t heard back from them. I wish I looked at her name tag.

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches. They were made quickly, the customer service was good, and we paid for the bill with very little issue at the busiest time of the morning. I don’t know why there are such low ratings here. I’d come back for sure.

So I went to this location today to try it out. There was a long line which i didn’t mind. When we went to the first register several minutes later, the one that says«Order here», the register seem closed. There were a bunch of boxes on top and nobody at the register. We waited a good 5 minutes but nobody showed up. The line in front of us was already at the last register, so i figured maybe it is closed, and we need to order and paid at the end. We got there, and the cashier girl named Isela talked to me. She had no idea of what customer service is and even after i explained her that we waited and nobody was on the first station, she declined to serve us and said that the order must be taken there. I explained her that i understood, however due to the circumstances if she could take the order there, i did not mind waiting. She refused and directed me to the end of the line. I said i already did the whole line, but she did not care. At this point i was getting ready to leave, and requested to speak to the manager. The manager was Rosa Pace. She came in and apologize and asked to please order with her. However i was so furious about Iseal’s treatment and lack of customer service. She had an attitude the whole time even when she went to get the manager. She rolled her eyes when the manager apologized to me. Needless to say i did not eat there. I thanked the manager for her right attitude, however i will never go back there and will make sure everybody knows that this location has the worst staff.

Good food and coffee. I usually get either the nova lox on a thin bagel or the asparagus mushroom swiss on a thin bagel. The service is sub-par. Usually very slow even at non-peak times.

Not sure why this place gets few stars. I’ve always gotten good service from all the team members. I’ve ordered party sized portions, placed the order online and pickup was always easy. The staff is working hard considering there is always a line out the door. The selection is great, and their shmear is a nice chunk. Their ordering process is organized. I think the delay is when people are standing over the cream cheese area trying to decide which of the tubs they want.

I’ve honestly given this place so many chances… But I’m honestly done… The customer service is decent but the food is not… Just a bunch of microwaved food… And the wait there is normally at least 10 min for a bagel sandwich… They pride themselves on fresh ingredients which they do have, but why microwave everything?! And the bagels aren’t that fresh… I’m almost positive they don’t use the bagels that are made in the morning… They usually taste stale… I rarely give one star reviews… But this place has earned it…

I have been here so many times but this time was not so great. I got the nova lox with no capers. They put maybe a lick of cream cheese smear on it. I asked them for more for my friend and I and the girl working behind the counter with dark brown hair, glasses, and foundation way too dark for her gave me the dirtiest look and attitude. She better check herself when working with customers.

I normally go here to grab some breakfast really quick and i know it can get pretty busy but I went around 1pm and it wasnt even that packed. I’m annoyed how rude the employees were, especially the cashier. I ordered an Egg White Thintastic Asparagus, mushroom and swiss sandwich with an iced coffee. I can look past unhappy and rude employees but LAZY employees, thats where i get annoyed. The cashier condescendingly told me to make my iced coffee by just putting the HOTCOFFEE in this PLASTICCUP and then putting ice… Did he not realize the ice would melt and water down the coffee since the coffee was piping hot? Well i was confused and did it anyways and it created a watery-coffee mess that tasted awful. At this point i was like a bit annoyed but not enough to write a Unilocal post. So i get home and open the package to my sandwich(which originally COVERED in grease and i had to ask for another bag) and the sandwich was broken into 3 pieces and looked awful. It was sloppily made, which i would understand if they were ridiculously busy like they are in the mornings but there werent that many people in their when i went in!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the other posters. This store is NOT clean. It’s very busy on Saturday mornings and there can be quite a wait. The staff is not very friendly, they all look terribly stressed and tired and most of them don’t seem to understand English very well — sorry, if that’s politically incorrect, but it’s the truth. Lots of trouble ordering. System is confusing. I love their cream cheese & lox bagel with capers, it’s excellent EVERYTIME. And the coffee is great, too.

Not often do I leave a 5 star review solely based on the staff’s demeanor, but the people working here are quite pleasant and know what seems to everyone by first name. I don’t even know my next door neighbors’ names!

I don’t normally review chain establishments because most chains pretty much offer the same type of experience as far as I am concerned. Einstein Bros. is an example of the same old chain store routine. Confusing order lines,(even in non-busy times) no emphasis on cleanliness, overpriced subpar«food» served with an attitude in a generic-looking atmosphere. I get better bagels from Shoppers. I feel like I am always getting less than what I paid for here. Even the blackberry lemonade isn’t enough to get me to go back.

I swear Springfield is where all the«C-team» chain establishments set up shop. Understandably on a Saturday morning there was a long line in front of me, so I decided to wait in it. I had a simple enough order: 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese on the side to go. I had to give the cashier guy my order like 3 times because he wasn’t listening to me after he asked what I wanted. After all that the bagels were not toasted, cream cheese was not on the side. Blerg. I’m not one to waste food so I didn’t bring it up this time… Seriously does anyone NOT get their bagels toasted? I’m the only one? What’s the deal? And what’s the deal with having to order coffee and pay at a second register? Maybe that’s why there was such a long line in the first place.

Slowest, most inefficient place on the planet. The bagels are awesome but it takes WAAAAAY too long to get them and this wasn’t even early morning rush. Staff is just really slow and the system for completing orders is really inefficient.

Such a friendly staff! My family and I go about twice a month and they always remember our order. The vanilla hazelnut coffee is also to-die-for!

Two stars because the food was not bad. Mediocre but not bad. I was the fourth person in line and waited for ten minutes to be served. This isn’t high-impact cooking here. It is fast food bagels. they seem rather disorganized. More workers than customers and they still could not get things done in a reasonable amount of time. The food is not great and is rather expensive. $ 5.50 for a bagel with egg and cheese? No thanks. Keep your mediocre bagels. I could probably do better at Dunkin Donuts.

For some reason I thought Einstein Brothers, since it’s a chain, had a little bit more«oomph» to its menu offerings. We came here for lunch and I have to admit that I wasn’t particularly impressed. The bagel flavors that they offer are nice, but the actual breakfast and lunch sandwich options for which to use your chosen bagel felt pretty lackluster. Also, their everything bagels were super heavy on the caraway seed. Credit where credit’s due, salt bagels are delish though. The folks behind the cash registers were very nice but took forEVER, too. Which is crazy, considering we were literally 2 of the 3 people who came in the entire time we were there. I understand that it was during a slump(we were there from like 3 — 3:30), but still. How can it possibly take like 8 entire minutes to cut a bagel, toast a bagel, smear some schmear on a bagel, and then give me that bagel? I ate the entire thing faster than it took to assemble. I think that the next time I’ve got a hankering for a chain place’s bagels, bagel sandwich, or anything of the like, I’ll probably head to Panera. Einstein Bro’s doesn’t even offer real sausage for their b-fast sammies. Sorry, bro(s), turkey sausage just ain’t the same!

The Italian chicken panini is the best panini I have ever heard. The service was quick. The cook was nice and took my order minutes before I had even paid for it. The staff was some of the nicest people I have ever seen at a establishment. Every worker was helping someone. I had and ate all my food in about 20 – 30 minutes. Pretty good for dine in/take out. The chocolate cookies were fresh and soft, beautiful. The food is reasonable prices. $ 1.10 for one bagel? This place needs to be open later than 5!!! I will be back.

Stopped in here to get a big container of coffee to bring in to work as a co-worker loves there coffee and I owed her one. I myself had never tried it and I was pleasantly surprised. I was offered to fill my cup as the gentleman was filling the jug. I tried the vanilla hazelnut and although it was good, one cup was enough of that. I poured myself a cup of regular when I arrived at work and it was delicious. I also ordered a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on a six cheese bagel and that was delicious. The only thing I found slightly off about it was the fact the bagel was kind of sweet. I didn’t care for what tasted like added sugar in it. My breakfast sandwich and the jug of coffee to go was around $ 23 and it was delicious. The place was clean and the customer service was good.
