Love the burgers. We like to go her for a a good burger and fries. Side salads are to-do. Good prices.

Great food and service it would be 5 stars but the fruit flies are everywhere I counted 7 sitting on our table during breakfast, makes it hard to enjoy a meal with friends while flies are in your face the entire time.

The food is very delicious. Loved their hamburger and fries and the chicken fried steak meal. Staff is pretty friendly and I love the décor inside. It’s interesting to look at while waiting for your food. Customer service takes a little time, but they work decently. My only concerns are the parking lot being somewhat hard to find a spot sometimes and the chairs in the dining room sometimes feel rickety like they’ll break if I make any sudden moves. I would definitely suggest going here if you’re in need of a delicious lunch or dinner.

My husband and I have gone here a couple times in the last month or so for a wonderful Sunday morning breakfast. The restaurant is quite small, but it doesn’t feel cramped, it’s more cozy. It’s a quaint 50’s style diner. Parking is never a problem. They’ve also got drive-up spots, but I’ve never used that. The waitress(I forget her name) is a sweetheart who is always attentive and efficient. Her voice is unforgettable, being on the high pitched side, which I would expect to get on my nerves. But she’s got such a sweet personality, it never does. She clearly enjoys her job and does well at it. She knows how to balance conversations with customers without ignoring others, or being overbearing. My husband and I both love the chicken fried steak. He hates gravy and he’ll eat it here. It is literally the one and only place he will eat gravy and enjoy it. So that gets high marks there. I enjoy the Fin’s Scramble and I add mushrooms to it. The food seems to take a little longer than average to come out, but it’s always hot and fresh. It never looks like it’s sat under a warming lamp waiting. So I never really mind the wait. I usually grab a newspaper and catch up on it while I’m waiting. It’s not long enough that I get bored, and it’s never so quick that you wonder if its pre-made either. I would definitely say it’s worth the money. It’s not expensive, but the quality isn’t sacrificed by being inexpensive either. I love that it’s a local restaurant that’s been here for many years and they have a core group of regulars that go in consistently. I know that I’ll keep going back.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday and it was pretty packed inside. Luckily we were able to get a booth cleaned and seated pretty quickly. The inside is fairly small with some cool diner décor. There was only one poor waitress taking everyone’s order but she did a great job at getting us our drinks and taking our order quickly. I had the country breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and cottage fries. ***Warning!!! Do not order this dish if you are planning on having anymore more meals for the rest of the day or maybe the week! Lol! Wow the portion was gigantor! The country breakfast also comes with a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was so big and smothered in this amazing gravy. The biscuit is freshly made and you can tell. It was so moist and just everything you can want in a biscuit! They actually gave me two dishes because my breakfast couldn’t fit on one plate! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage was so yummy. I would say it’s the best breakfast sausage I’ve ever had. If you like sausage you have to get these! I wasn’t a huge fan of their cottage fries. They were just ok. My hubs had the hash browns with his breakfast and those were pretty good. I Knocked off a star because I felt as though the place could use a bit more cleaning. The place felt kind of sticky. If you look at the walls/mirrors they are a little dirty. Otherwise great food! Come here!

So far not so good. This is our first time here, honestly I gotta say that the service isn’t that great. We have been here almost 20 minutes. Yes they are busy but we did not get drinks until about 30 seconds before our food. I gave 4 stars because the food was very good and fresh. Bump up the customer service a bit and next time it will be 5.

We went here today for the very first time! For years, we had heard great things about the owner, Jerry, and the food but for some reason, we had never ventured down Main Street. This place is a classic diner with everything you would expect. We sat at the counter for my son’s birthday lunch, which was really fun. He chose Fin’s drive-in based on the photos of root beer floats and chili. My husband and I both had the hamburgers which were tasty and cooked to perfection. The chili was fabulous, but the best were the house brewed root beer floats. The smaller versions were a great size to accompany our filling food. The service was friendly and quick, the bathrooms were clean and so was the restaurant. Next time we will try the Drive-in experience but today, we had to meet the Jerry, who lives up to his friendly reputation! Thanks for the yummy food!

Stopped and ate here while visiting my best friend in Springfield. What an awesome place to eat I love everything about it from the Food to the Classic Dinner/Drive in feel! Defiantly going to come back when I am back in Oregon again!

Was not thrilled with our experience. Service was slow and lousy. The food was not very good. I barely ate any of mine.

We went past the point of hungry into the forbidden realm of hangry. The staff basically did all the thinking for us and got our fries out first to stop the panick. Great meaty burger and definitely worth the detour from the standard fast food joints up the road.

Came here today for a quick bite to eat. We just saw the drive in style joint from main st and pulled in. The service is great, lots of people(which is always a good sign). The. food was good. The rootbeer was a lil plain & didn’t really have a rootbeer vibe but it was good!

What a gem!!! I scored! This place is great — I’ve lived in the neighborhood a year & have never been here! I can’t believe all the time I’ve wasted at that place down the street! I could of been here!!! I got a veggie omelet with ripe avocado on top. Cottage fries & thick cut rye toast for $ 6.95! Total bill with coffee — $ 8.30. This is my new favorite place. The young man that was my waiter was prompt & courteous. Really cute inside. Great, great overall experience. I’m coming back!

I’ve lived about 4 blocks away from this restaurant for almost a year now and tonight was the first time eating there. I was craving some thick and crispy onion rings and they definitely delivered! I had a veggie burger which was good but I think it would have tasted a little better on a white bun rather than the wheat it came on. My brother had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and said«it’s the kind of burger that makes you remember you’re alive», which I guess means he liked it ;) service was friendly and an average wait time. I have it only 4 stars instead of 5 because of price to portion ratio. I felt if you’re paying $ 2 – 3 to add fries/onion rings to your already $ 5 – 6 burger they should have been a little bigger portion size. Good food, just small baskets.

Fin’s is not JUST a restaurant. Yes they serve really yummy diner food, but it is one of those places that holds a special place in your heart. The nostalgia that I have going here is incomparable to any other restaurant in the area. I used to come here as a child with my grandparents(RIP) and now I come in here with my children. It is a family-friendly place that is so welcoming and warm. Their food is by far the best diner food in the area. My favorite is their chicken fried steak for breakfast which is a huge portion that I am able to share with my husband. It is light and crispy and the gravy is the good old-fashioned kind. If I could give them more stars, I would. Not just because I think their food is great, but I think they have forged a place in the hearts of many community members — young and old.

I had an fantastic burger — better than the famous west coast burger chain. It needs some extra cleaning but you’ll be able to look past that once you have a burger.

I love this place for a couple reasons. breakfast, milk shakes, awesome onion rings, and burgers are awesome. I get my burgers here with pink because I ask for it that way, but they will cook it as done as u want. some things I don’t like. the charge for ranch, all dinner items are fake and salty like it’s all pre packaged. huge portions though. salads are bagged lettuce and usually are kinda brppownish. service is hit or miss, Idk it used to be good but they rotate staff a lot cause they hire high school girls so if u come back later your experience changes. don’t like how they ask about ur tip at register. it’s rude and extremely awkward for patrons. I would really like them to do away with that. but burgers are amazing and I will always come back for them.

Easily my favorite restaurant in all of Springfield! As a burger guy, I stayed coming here for the amazing 1950’s-esque mustang amd fries. Then I discovered the perfectly fried, meath yet crispy, country fried steak sandwich on toasted sourdough. Amd then I discovered the sausagey cheesy omelette with country fried steak that was the equivalent of breakfast heaven. This is a must for people who love greasy spoons!

First time eating here and I have no issue coming back. My girlfriend and I were searching for a good place to eat and regardless of some not so great reviews we decided to give them a shot. I’m glad we did! Great service, amazing food and a friendly staff.
