Greek in the Box

Only place to get around to get a decent gyro. Does not disappoint and if you like Greek salads, this is the place in sgf land.

I avoid the mall at all costs. But today I was forced there and, unfortunately for me, I got hungry. I chose Greek in a Box and ordered mozzarella sticks. After waiting ten minutes for them to cook, I observed the worker drop part of my order on the floor. He then proceeded to give me the remainder of untainted cheese sticks without offering a new order, a refund, or any sort of discount.

Yes its mall food.
But in a town where vegan options are few and far between its refreshing to have an option while shopping! Try the falafel with hummus. Delicious!

Let’s start with this is mall food. Make no mistake about it. If you are expecting some hidden diamond in the rough you will be sorely let down my fine friend. If you are however looking for good Greek food… you will still be let down.
The service was really good. We ordered our food and she said it would take a while so she would bring it out to us. as this is in the mall and you are sitting in the food court, this is not in any way part of her job. Nor is it to be expected behavior. so she did a fantastic job and brought it out to us as soon as it was done.
The food however was another story. we both ordered the chicken kabobs with lemon rice. They informed us that they were in fact out of lemon rice. The boss makes it he was not there that day. Let me say that again… a Greek place did not have any lemon rice. That is like the Italians not having pasta or the Persians having 2 eyebrows. It just doesn’t happen. We went with the fries and a Greek salad. We were told the salads are great there. They lied. The chicken was dry and did not resemble any souvlaki I have ever had. It was more akin to fajitas than souvlaki. The salad was a run of the mill attempt and nothing special. The fries were bland and not very good at all.
Given the choice between this and Hot Dog on a Stick… choose the girls wearing the stupid shirts and hats and go with the stick.
