Clean restaurant We got seated pretty quick at 845 a Saturday but the wait got long after 9. It felt uncomfortable dining in with all the waiting people staring at us. Lots of food choices. Delicious food for all 5 at our table. I’d go back. You can have different things cooked specific to what you want. Staff was overly helpful!

This is the best breakfast in town! The food is very good and everything is homemade. Even the bread is homemade, you have to try a slice, it is delicious. The cinnamon rolls and coffee are both very good. The price is reasonable and you get tons of food for the money. I am almost too selfish to leave a great review because I want to keep it all to myself :) JK. They definitely need more than one location in the Springfield area. Love it!

Great breakfast and friendly service. As far as chains go it beats the hell out of IHOP or Denny’s. Really any other chain breakfast joint I have been to for that matter. Not much more needs to be said. Best breakfast I’ve personally had in Springfield.

First trip. Food was great. My problem is the price. We dropped 25.00 on breakfast. Will I go back? Probably not. Once was enough.

It’s on par with IHOP, I think, but not as good as Bric’s Belgian Waffle House. The pancakes were a bit tough, but the coffee is very good. I had the Fiesta Skillet Scramble and it was great. Their biscuits are soft and tasty, but the sausage gravy isn’t anything special. I liked it enough, but hubby didn’t approve. He did enjoy the traditional breakfast however, and his sausage patties were perfect.

Passable. You’d do just as well going to an IHOP or Denny’s though. The food is generally pretty bland but the portions are good and the service is friendly. The parking lot seems like it is deliberately designed to increase the probability of getting a fender bender. In general the skillets are the way to go. I’d avoid the pancakes as they are pretty depressing — sort of rubbery and bland.

Decent and generic. Cleaner than Denny’s, not as good as IHOP(similar menus, but less pancake options at JE). Worth a shot.

Jimmy’s is really just another Denny’s or IHOP. I visited there with a friend and my daughters and the food was passable, but not great. I had a «traditional breakfast» featuring two eggs over easy with bacon, hash browns, a biscuit, and sausage gravy. Over easy eggs are supposed to have whites that are just set — not too done and not raw. My egg whites were on the gelatinous side and barely warm. The hash browns had no taste, but the bacon was good. The biscuit was fine, but the sausage gravy had a slightly weird taste. My girls had the pancakes and said they were good. The service was very good.

Am just leaving where we waited almost 10 minutes with no waitress. Many people came in after us and were greeted by served and orders taken promptly. After waiting with no service we got up to leave and although several staff saw us walking out, not one person said something.

Oh my gosh. Really? I hadn’t been here before? Our normal breakfast staple Village Inn needed to be retired for a morning, so we tried Jimmy’s Egg on a Sunday morning. The menu is different that a lot of the run of the mill breakfast joint in Springvegas, and the change is refreshing. There is a lighter fare menu that doesn’t only consist of fruit/yogurt, and the unhealthy stuff is just wonderful looking. I tried the farmers skillet which consists of homemade fries(big hash browns), scrambled eggs, peppers, and a whole bunch of other delicious stuff. Hubs tried the meat lovers omelet which he enjoyed. I liked that most of the ingredients seemed pretty homemade and fresh. The pancakes were real, hand poured looking pancakes and they were delicious! Definitely give this place a try.

The server was great. Friendly and on top of it. The food… well. The eggs were cooked amazing. The toast tasted like grill cleaner, the ham is NOT worth $ 8.65. We also kept finding hairs in our food. We work in the food industry and just… one hair. Whatever. 3? EW.

Not perfect and an awkward parking lot but a good place to get breakfast near 65 at Battlefield. We go here often and sometimes it’s better than others but overall it’s a good place to eat.

Didn’t refill coffee until meal was over. It took over 15 mins to get our food. Our waitress had a dirty bandaid on her thumb and she had it in our plate vs on the side. She also handled my toast with the same bare hand. On top of that, food was barely average and barely warm.

We live very close to Jimmy’s Egg and we go as often as we can. Really enjoy the food! Never really had a wait and the portions are a nice size. The servers are always nice and quick. I have tried a couple of different things but love the Farmer’s Skillet Scramble. It has Diced ham, sausage, onion, and green bell peppers scrambled with two eggs on a bed of home fries with melted cheddar cheese. I switch the sausage to bacon because I don’t like sausage and I never have an up charge like some other places do. I recommend this place if you are looking for good food at a decent price and live around the area.

Great breakfast place. Hubby had the garbage breakfast and it was great. I had the Popeye’s Revenge omelet and loved it. Lots of spinach and mushroom. Pancakes were also good. Least favorite thing was the biscuits and gravy — still good, just not my favorite thing here. Clearly a lot of food comes with your order since we felt we tried a lot of stuff. Staff was friendly and attentive and restaurant was clean. First time at a Jimmy’s and will definitely come back.

Have been to Jimmy’s several times now and each has been A-OK. Not the best I’ve ever had but much better than most chains. The place is clean, the food isn’t overly complicated, and a good variety. My favorite here have been the savory bacon cheddar pancakes. Not exactly healthy but worth a try. Go for the short stack and be full. Tall stack and be hurt.

Really great food. The garbage breakfast(yep its really called that) had some nice flavor. I normally find sausage a little bland and this was surprisingly tasty. I got it with pancakes and was stuffed. Staff is extremely proactive and nice. Only thing I would improve on is that the coffee was a little mild for my taste.

Not at all impressed with this place. The prices are on the high side and the food was nothing special. The pancakes were good and the homemade bread toast was good too. I had a dish that came with 2 eggs and a mix of sausage, green bell peppers and onions over the hash browns. The bell peppers were not cooked enough and the hash browns you needed a magnifying glass to find them. The sausage looked like it had been steamed or boiled. It had no flavor what so ever and no seasoning. This meal was $ 8.00! The coffee was $ 2.00 a cup! Again not impressed, the $ 1.00 sausage biscuit at McDonald’s is 100 times better then the breakfast I had at Jimmy’s Egg. Will not be going back again and would not recommend it. It will be a good place for the people staying at the motels right next to it.

Great food, great service. I got the California club and a side of biscuit and gravy, and it was really good. The only problem I had was about every 2 – 5 minutes someone would offer to fill my coffee that I haven’t even drank out of yet. It was nice to see that they were on top of refills, but I couldn’t even get into a conversation without someone asking me for coffee. Also the management is super hard on the employees to do a good job so be sure to tip well!
