Friendly fast and a quite place to eat. Far form the best in springfield. Food was more eatable then 5 spice, but not even in the ball park of best. I’m sure the judges at cashew craze needed their stomach pumped if they thought this was the best.

The food here was pretty good, probably slightly better than average for SGF. The cleanliness and friendliness is what stood out to me. The girl at the register was very pleasant, and even helped me carry out my food without asking. The owner of this place is amazingly nice. I will use this as my north side Chinese from now on.

While not terrible, the existing reviews for this establishment grossly overstate its charms. Aside from the ultra-​friendly staff, there’s absolutely nothing to brag about here, and certainly nothing warranting a rating above three stars. The food is neither terrible nor great and the restaurant itself suffers from a worn, decaying feel: tables are in substandard shape, décor isn’t particularly inventive and the neighborhood is suspect. Even though I arrived with a desire to like the place in spite of these flaws, I was hard pressed to do so, entertaining banter with the staff notwithstanding.

I would give this zero stars if it would let me. This is hands down one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever had the displeasure of finding. The salad/​soup bar was paltry, with food that had clearly been out for hours. Our rice was raw and crunchy the first time, overcooked and burnt when we pointed it out. Portion sizes were small for the price. Orange Chicken was overly sweet, and Generals Chicken was more cabbage than meat. Tables, floor and even menus were all sticky and dirty. We recommend steering clear of this place at all costs.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Springfield, I’m addicted to their Hot N’ Spicy soup and Kids eat free on Sun! It’s good quality food and service. Their sauces are homemade and they don’t add MSG to any of their foods, I love the family friendly atmosphere and the owner always is joyful.

Yuck. The food was not good. I ordered General Tso’s chicken and a combination appetizer. The chicken was very salty, the sauce tasted like it was from a concentrate that was not mixed correctly. The crab ragoon was all shell and less than a ½ teaspoon of filling. The pot stickers were good. Staff was great. That’s why they got 2 stars.

This place was fantastic! The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating to our vegetarianism. They have so many vegetarian options! You can get their tofu with any sauces, just be cautions as some are made with chicken broth. Will definitely be back!

So, here we are just passing through Springfield and craving Chinese food. :)
Unilocal recommended this place and *bonus* there was a DEAL, too! We decided to give it a try. We got there toward the end of the dining room hours but the staff was cheerful and welcoming. The buffet was already down for the night IYKWIM.
Not gonna lie, we were hungry.

We were traveling and stopped for some Cashew Chicken. It was very tasty, and we could choose all white meat, or all dark. Portions were perfect, and you get soup and salad. I had the egg flower soup, which was very fresh tasting and flavorful. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

Pretty good… just passing through Springfield and staying at a local hotel. The food was good. Portion sizes were just about right. Would be nice if they delivered. After driving all day, the last thing I want to do is drive to go get food while I’m at a hotel.

First of all never go in on a Sunday! They ran out of dishes and went to Styrofoam plates then ran out of them. Salad bar is a joke, the food was cold when we got it and it took forever to get. They forgot my rice and crabrangoon order I didn’t get the egg roll or crabrangoon that came with the meal until after I was done eating my cashew. I will never go back here ever.

What a nice lunch! We celebrated Valentine’s Day after church. The service was amazing and the people were extremely nice. The food was very good. We had Cashew Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and General Tso’s Chicken. The Crab Rangoon and Egg Rolls were also delicious. The Soup and Salad Bar comes with the meal. All 4 of us ate for $ 40 with tip! We will definitely come back!

Took my family here after church. Staff was immediately accommodating. My wife and I ordered a couple of dishes to share. We had the Sesame chicken and shrimp lo mein. The all-​white meat chicken was breaded and sauced very well. The chicken itself was tender and juicy and tasted very fresh. After ordering shrimp dishes at other restaurants in town, I expected little salad shrimp that were either dehydrated or the consistency of chewing gum. To my surprise, the lo mein noodles came with a generous portion of large perfectly cooked shrimp. Dining at the restaurant afforded the opportunity to take advantage of their soup and salad bar. It was not extravagant but a nice addition to a great meal. There are more dishes on the menu that I look forward to trying. In my opinion, this restaurant serves traditional Springfield Chinese food, but at another level.

To say that I received great service here would be an understatement; it was probably the best service I’ve received in the last year! Just fantastic. I (as well as the guy in front of me) were treated like long-​lost friends.
The place is somewhat nondescript from the outside, but the inside is very clean and comfortable.
The food was terrific. Let’s say 4.5 out of 5 stars. I will definitely return.

Awesome price, awesome food, awesome service, and even better music! Love this place! Free soup and salad with every meal as well. It’s basically what you would expect from a Springfield Asian place only a few steps better. I’ve only been once, but will be bringing a large group this Sunday night for a real test!
Cheap yet amazing potstickers! I’m kind of a potsticker freak and this place did not disappoint!
The owner is a super nice guy, and correction, they ARE open all day Sunday’s despite what Unilocal says!

I took three friends who are MSU students and Chinese nationals. They all said they would return. The eggplant tofu was very good. I’m not a huge vegetarian, but if you are, I’d visit just to try that dish. The heater didn’t seem to be working on our visit, but I can’t lower my rating on something the owner can’t control. Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Everything is cooked to order, so don’t expect quick, cheap Chinese. We had our order in less than ten minutes. Dine in included soup and salad. Great prices.

I ordered the general chicken and combination fried rice and both were wonderful. I met the owner and he was friendly. I recommend this place. It took a while to find a restaurant with good general chicken and I am glad I gave this place a try! I wish they were closer to my side of town but the food is definitely worth the drive!
