Restroom only has a hand dryer and no foot pedal to open door after washing up. Cook or customer washes hands and then has to open restroom door touching a filthy handle from the majority of patrons who haven’t learned proper hygeine. Food establishments should offer paper towel or at least a foot lever so you don’t have to touch a disgusting handle before eating.

Food is exceptional. We order online and enjoy being able to pick it up in person a few minutes later. Always fresh!

This Panda Express is horrible! The majority of the time, the chicken has a burnt taste and the veggies are slightly cold in the middle. Tonight, there was a piece of what appears to be steel wool in our meal. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

Horrible service. Went through the drive thru and they couldn’t understand basic English and were very rude for no reason. Won’t come back.

I’ve visited this Panda several times with the BF(always through the drive-thru) since writing this review, and while I still find the food to be below average(just so many better Chinese food options in SGF!), I will say it seems they’ve had a staffing change. Drive-thru time is much quicker, and while the workers seem a little down in the dumps, they get the job done quickly. So three stars for much-improved service, but still unimpressed with the food…

I had heard nothing but bad things about this restaurant. A lot of bad things actually, as I happen to work in a large office building close to Panda Express, so practically everyone before me had eaten there and hated it. My wife decided she wanted to bring it home one night, and I thought«ok, I will try everything once, its American Chinese food, how do you screw that up.» Well they did, you could tell the food had been cooked long ago in a galaxy far, far away. I mean come on people, you put a chinese food chain in the chinese food capitol of the midwest. I mean we created cashew chicken(although they don’t have it). It had better be good, but this wasn’t even passable as decent. It’s sad because I was hoping they would put a good restaruant in that location.

Great size portions for the price, great taste, customer service could use some work though, but nothing too awful!

Nice restaurant, staff is friendly, but the food is just not good at all. There are tons of Chinese/Asian places to eat at in Springfield, for the price, this is going to be last on my list just because of the food quality. It taste like McDonald’s try to make Chinese food.

Went today during the lunch hour. Went through the drive thru. It took a while to get to the window to pay, but they were VERY busy. I ordered the Panda Bowl with Broccoli beef and Fried Rice. The food was perfect. The broccoli was still crisp, not soggy. There was a little more rice than I would have liked but overall, it was a good quick meal. This is not the Best Chinese, but it’s good for what it is. It must be a Californja/West Coast thing because people here don’t seem like fans, but in Cali/Arizona, Panda is EVERYTHING! Lol.

Airport quality at best. Soggy and everything had that residual frozen taste. Do not eat here if you are givin the option

Don’t bother. We went through the drive thru which took 20 minutes and when we tried to order 4 entrees they gave us two with two different items in each container which totalled $ 22! That’s $ 11 per order for where at most places would’ve been no more than $ 6-$ 7. Shocked and appalled and will never go there again!

Springfield has some great Chinese places so Panda Express has a lot of competition. PE has a lot of options and you can see the food right in front of you. It has lots of fresh vegetables and trendy seating so you pay the price. It was good but if you are looking for authentic cheap Chinese food than this is not your place.

I ate Panda Express today for the first time. I had the two entrée and one side with an egg rolI. I had it with orange chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, half and half fried rice and lo mein. The portion was very large and it came with both of the sauces on the side in addition to on the chicken. The orange chicken flavor was great but the chicken itself was just ok and the teriyaki chicken was decent. i didnt care for the chkn egg roll. Overall a fun meal to sample.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Panda Express so once I saw it in Springfield I decided to give it a try. I did the 2 entrée option with rice, kung pao chicken and peppered chicken. All in all my meal was ok. I wasn’t impressed. None of the chicken had any flavor and seemed kind of dry. The vegetables were probably the best part of the whole meal, which there weren’t very many of. I’ve been to several other Chinese restaurants around Springfield and I would say this was a very big disappointment for me. For the $ 8 I paid for this meal I could have gotten a much better one somewhere else. I probably will not be going back.

Panda Express opened recently here, and I saw it on some occasions when it was really packed. So I thought, Wow! They must have either some really good food or(more likely) some really good marketing to bring in a big crowd. But I vowed to give it a try at first convenience. So one day I went through the drive-through. There was a sign advertising a meal with 2 entrees for a set price, except… when I looked at the 2 entrees I wanted to order, it was going to be EXTRACHARGE for Entrée #1, and EXTRACHARGE for Entrée #2. Bummer. It was already looking pretty expensive for lunch, so I chose two different entrees. Still, they looked good. And I liked that I could order the entrees with veggies instead of rice. Really liked that. Unfortunately, the soupy sauce sloshed around in the plastic bag they gave me, and literally by the time I made it to a parking space — I was going to eat lunch in one of their parking spaces instead of going inside — the whole bag, including the napkins they gave me, was a sloshy mess. Bottom line: The food was fine, the experience wasn’t. More than I wanted to pay, and sloshed all to heck. Although I liked the food, I’m not really likely to be back.

I understand that this is a chain or franchise or something to that effect and I usually do not do any reviews on chains. Think about it: a review of McDonald’s would be like having a child explain the difference between one toy and another. Simple. Not interesting. My qualms come as a result of never having gone to a Panda Express before and me being excited to try it. Bear in mind, this review is for the one on the southside, but I imagine there’s a common owner between the two, so it would behoove all to read my review! Okay. First visit: Drive through line was outrageous! What made matters worse was that there was no failsafe«abort» lane to escape the line once in it. If you want to go through the drive through, you’re committed to that line no matter what happens. Well, I went on a bad day, apparently. The cars in front of me seemingly took too much time beyond the«forever» mark and I began to worry that it wasn’t indecisive customers, but overwhelmed or incompetent employees. I get it. This was a new building and probably the first busy weekend. I was willing to forgive them. Nope. Finally, after 15 I-kid-you-not minutes, it was my turn. Silence. Silence. «Sorry for your wait, welcome to Panda Express! I’ll be taking your order in just a moment!» Silence. «Again, we apologize for your wait. I’ll be with you in just a moment!» Silence. «Sorry again, sir. I’m ready to take your order when you’re ready.» Ooooh, dude. I’m ready! I am MORE than ready! I changed the order in my mind three times! I know the menu better than you! I could run this place based from the level of intimacy I have with your menu! I began, «I want this, and that, with a side of that…»(I forgot what I ordered.) Silence. I continued suspiciously, «…aaaaand for my second, I want this and this and that…» I was cut off by a different voice, a female this time, «Welcome to Panda Express. I’ll take your order when you’re ready!» OHHELLNO! After stating my order again, the woman tried to hurry me along. I wanted crab rangoon. I had to interrupt her from tallying my total twice to order it. She didn’t pause with an «anything else?» I eventually got food. It was all right. I remember being a little pissed that there was no General Chicken, but Honey Walnut Shrimp seemed to make up for it. My wife was happy that I brought home food. She ate my shrimp. The back of the receipt promised a free something or other for doing a survey and returning, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again with my wife in tow. We decided to dine inside this time. Looks neat. line was easy to figure out. I noticed that the food was on warming trays in a display. On warming trays. Let me reiterate: ONWARMINGTRAYS. Why On Earth Did It Take For Ever To Go Through The G D Drive Through? It hit me: incompetent employees. «Take a breath, Cory,» I said to myself, «No need to have an anger blackout and go full Hulk in public again. No one deserves your wrath!» My wife and I can be pretty indecisive and we often stand to the side of the line to avoid taking up someone else’s time while we figure out what we want. Fortunately for others, it was winding down and we were about the only ones waiting to order. We made up our minds and approached the display, the woman ready to take my order sheepishly and quietly asked, «muhmuhmuhmuh?» “What?” “muhmuhmuhmuhmuhmurmerineverspeaklouderthanachurchmousemuhmuh.” “Ooookay, well I’ll have the Cod and the Shanghai beef with noodles.“ She picked up a plate, held over her mouth to cover her face and raised her eyebrows, saying just loudly enough to prove to me that she can actually talk, «This plate?» Fur realz? You work with food and you’re putting the medium by which food is delivered from the display case to MY mouth near YOUR mouth and TALKING? What ARE you? Do you know what the norovirus is? The«winter barfing bug?» This is how people get infected with it! NO, NOTTHAT *&*$INGPLATE! YOURGERMSARE, WITHOUTQUESTION, ONIT! …at least that’s what my blood pressure told me to say. «Uhhh…yeah…-that– plate. Thanks for talking on it.» She did the same thing to my wife’s plate. I had half a mind to seek out the manager, but I figured that this was the kind of place where everyone is the manager when you ask. Whatever. Extra vitamin C for us when we go home! After we ordered and paid, that same delightful nincompoop started palling around with her friends in a confidently loud voice. Was she just being awkward on a dare? Has social media and cell phones really made the next generation so socially inept that they literally hide behind things when speaking to people? The food had been in the warmers too long. Stale. Soggy. Dry. Awful. At the end of the day, I won’t be going back to Panda Express unless I’m promised a level of quality that comes with reasonable competency and a menu that doesn’t try to rewrite Chinese food like Twilight rewrote vampires.

I LOVED Panda Express. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and I detected no MSG. I loved the fact that I could choose to have a healthy amount, or throw calorie counts to the wind. I chose a bowl, and was able to choose two half sides. I chose half fried rice, half veggies and beef with broccoli. I was perfectly and not overly full. Even with my fortune cookie I was under 400 calories! Yay! No MSG means I didn’t torture my husband all afternoon. :) I tried my husband’s kung pao chicken. Yum. Spicy. My only complaint was that the line ran right beside our table. Tad awkward.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. The staff seemed friendly but seemed to be out of most things. The food was very very meh. Everything on my plate seemed dry and tasteless. It’s your typical Chines food chain restaurant. My wife and I will not be back.

A different spin on Chinese. Cameron was my cashier and Tylesha plated my food for me. They were both smiling and friendly. They made me fresh sweet fire chicken and let me sample several selections. Give them a try. Their rangoons are great.
