Outback has been one of my most favorite restaurants and I’m sad to say the last 4 times I’ve visited this restaurant we’ve had issues. Coming from a customer service background its highly important to listen to the customer and allow them to voice their concerns. I did not have this opportunity tonight. I told the server that the aussie fries tasted like fish and she looked at me and said is that an issue? SMH! I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I would have beenif one of my employees didn’t tell me of a unsatisfied customer. These guys are usually good. The manager will typically visit the yable but that didn’t happen nor did they offer a discount. I would never ask for a free meal that is completely ridiculous, however I would think a visit from a manager would be appropriate and a little more concern out of the server. Anyway I really don’t think I will eat at this place much anymore.

Service good. Food bad. Ordered two different steaks and they came out rare. Parking lot needs some attention. Caesar salad was decent. I have had better experiences from Outback in the past. Corporate overnight is most likely needed at this location.

I do love that they have Foster’s on draft. Salad wedge — the iceberg had brown all thru it. Shrimp in garlic butter was cold. Really felt like we were at Maverick, but much more expensive $ 60 for the 2 of us. Disappointing to say the least.

WORST service ever. It took over an hour to get our food. The steak was cooked wrong. The baked potato I got was MOLDY. Also, though we got apologies and promises that our food would be out immediately 4 different times– we were given no discount other than taking off the food that was moldy or improperly made… Not ever drinks or dessert comped

We took out family to Outback tonight 5÷30÷2015 and the food was not good definitely not served to our liking and dishes were served unlike they are stated on the menu for example I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi that should have been served with artichokes and sundried tomatoes with a lemon sauce. I told our waitress and all she did was bring the fish and made me put my own dish together. she did not offer to take it back and have it done properly. Others had prime rib which was tough and dry and my family had food not cooked to their specifications. Our waitress Tessa rolled her eyes several times when we asked for things. Food and SERVICE(Tessa)was poor at best. The outback in springfield va leaves a lot to be desired!!!

We went on a Friday night and waited 45 minutes. We knew they would be busy so the wait was not unexpected. I had prime rib, with sided and wife had chicken. The son went with sirloin with crab legs. We had the blooming onion which they obliged us cooking it crispy. The staff was polite and fast. Love the food and will keep coming back.

Below average steakhouse, but decent steaks and below average prices. The interior could use some work, the floor is sticky, the chair had an oily stain and at one point the ceiling dripped water at the doorway. That being said, the service was good, the food came fast, was cooked to order, and tasted fine.

I just wanted something that I knew would be acceptable for dinner and a couple drinks. Their selection of beer is pathetic. No local beer and the closest they get to craft beer was a couple Sam Adams. I had the Teryaki Steak Medallions, which were cooked perfectly last time I had them here. Unfortunately, this time they came out under cooked and lacking flavor. I was hungry and didn’t feel like sending them back, but I’ve had much better. Bartender was nice enough, but the employees seemed more intrigued with the Hawks/Kings game then doing their jobs.

Close location to our hotel. Food was usual for Outback, but our waitress wasn’t what we expect for Outback. Our salads took forever, as did the meals. We asked for steak suave and we had eaten half the steak before it arrived. I could understand if it was a weekend and the restaurant was packed, but it was a Wednesday at 7 pm.

Nice atmosphere… had the Ahi Tuna appetizer, and it was amazing… I will be craving that again very soon, I can already tell. For dinner, I had the 16oz Prime Rib, and A side of Buffalo Shrimp. The shrimp was a little bit salty and the steak was very heavily seasoned on the crust(I would even venture to say«overly» seasoned), but over all, not a bad meal. I figure that we will return, but it will be a while, which is a shame… I will miss the Tuna.

The food here will match the quality and flavor at any other Outback across the country. This review focuses more on the Curbside Take-Away service. I frequently travel to Springfield, and I stay near this particular Outback. I have ordered to-go many times here and have noticed that the food quality is hit-or-miss. Frequently, the quality of the food you receive in Curbside Take-Away is not what you would receive dining in. I have gotten bread that is stale, undercooked steak, and less than impressive Bloomin’ Onions. Maybe they figure customers won’t take the time to return once they are home only to realize their steak isn’t cooked properly. If you want to take the time to check your order before you leave; go for it. Otherwise… stick to the dining room.

I’m sorry to say the beer is the only thing I could recommend here. This chain restaurant used to be a really good place to eat. I’m sorry to say I will never be back. The chicken breast on my sandwich was too small to describe other than«I found it under the piece of bacon». The only real flavor was the honey mustard. My wife’s Broccoli soup was something out of a can. Salty is not what you want in a soup. I used to be a regular customer a few years ago.

It was a solemn occasion that brought me to Springfield recently. On our final meal together with my family group, we ended up at this Outback as it seemed to be the classiest place around. It turned out to be a very, very bad choice. I wasn’t starving, so I ordered a cheeseburger and green beans for my side. It was a mistake that ruined the next three days of my life. That night while asleep, I kept being awaken by gas and a queeziness in my stomach. By morning I had vomited and had diarreah. I just wanted to stay in bed, but we had to fly out of St. Louis in the afternoon, so there I began the most miserable travel day ever. After finally arriving home, a lot of bed rest was in store for me and it took days to get my appetite back. While driving to St. Louis, I received a text saying that one of my brothers, who also ate there got sick while also driving to St. Louis. Yet another brother texted saying we was feeling very bad as well. That makes three out of a party of 12 that got sick from eating there. You form you own conclusions. I just know that I will never eat at another Outback as long as I live.

Decided to take the wife and baby here today for lunch and it wasn’t even open yet. This time in Feb is REALLY cold. We weren’t really that far off the open time but when we got to the door nobody bothered to come to the door to lets us in and wait for the 15 mins to open. My wife and I pass through Springfield every couple of months and this was our second visit to Outback. This particular Friday night, they were featuring a $ 14.99 surf & turf with a 6oz sirloin and small lobster tail. We both ordered these and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the food here. Our sirloins were exceptional cuts and both cooked medium rare, just the way we like them. Even though the tails were small, they were fabulous, as were the accompanying veggies. Service was great too, as we never had more than 5 minutes before we saw our server, who made sure our drinks were always full and our bread was replenished. Terrific overall eating experience, and we’ll make sure we frequent again the next time we pass through. Support staff there was also very friendly, helpful and courteous.

This restaurant is one the greatest steakhouses I’ve been to. It has everything a steakhouse should have; a decent bar area, excellent bartenders, and of course, steak and beer. Two months ago I ordered a well done bacon cheeseburger, but instead they gave me a medium-well burger with no bacon. I took one bite and I thought something was off. So when our waitress came by out table, I said that my order was wrong and that accidentally gave me a medium-well burger when I said well– done. So, when my order came back it was the manager who came and gave MY order and apologized. So if you come to here. make sure you order is right the first time.
