Starbucks

Two more visits to this Starbucks have resulted in the same experience. They are always complaining about something or someone. This isn’t an easy job and it’s not one that I would want to do, however this is a very open place and we can hear every word you are saying. How can this review be a year and a half apart and nothing has been done about the loudly griping employees!

This is usually my «go to» Starbucks in Springfield. Their drive-​thru can be long, but it moves fairly quickly. I can usually go inside and get back out faster, though, if the line is really long. Never had a wrong drink or surly employee.

I’ve been to all the Starbucks in «Springpatch» and this one is by far my favorite… And, in my opinion, the best one in town.
The managers and the staff are wonderful (for the most part … Some of the staff are weak links, but the majority of the Starbucks peeps who work here are THE best coffee peeps in town.) These awesome peeps Love coffee. They are gracious and kind. They are fast in their drink creations. It’s quite amazing to watch actually if you get a chance. They are professional and meticulous in keeping this busy hub clean.
And that’s another thing, this is the cleanest coffee shop in town.
I get my best work done here. Free wi-​fi. Sometimes a little spotty some days for some reason, but I can deal.
Plus despite the small square footage, it somehow doesn’t get too crowded. And the furniture is in all the right places. Good feng shui.
Love this Starbucks. Would highly recommend to other people. Only thing… I don’t want TOO many people comin here… It’s kinda my little «secret» favorite place.

What I liked the best about this Starbucks was the sign on 55 alerting us to its presence. Off the highway, boom!
What I didn’t like about it was that it wasn’t, boom, right there. We had to meander a bit which in the dark when you don’t know exactly where you are going and caffeine deprived, can be tricky.
We finally spotted it, got our coffee and were back on our way to Alton, nicely awake.
Little more signage and this could have been a 5 star experience!

Friendly staff, slow service sometimes (I had to wait while one guy worked the drive thru and inside), make drinks well enough though.
