Top Line Jag Repair

Went in last Friday for an oil change and had no issues with the service, the owner was friendly and even talked to me about specifics of my car. The price was almost $ 100 less than the dealership and I was able to use a coupon they’d sent me with no issues. I even got cookies and a thank u card left in my car after the service was completed. I vowed then to only use Top Line for my car’s service, etc. However, after my experience a couple months ago, i doubt that I’ll ever bring my car back to them!
Sooo, I scheduled to get my rear brakes done yesterday and I knew the service would cost me around $ 800, which was much less than the dealership and I was well aware and ready to pay that amount. I got the estimate a month before I came in and even called back a couple days before I brought it in to confirm the price. No issues there either. When I get there I present a young lady (I guess she was the receptionist) with a coupon they’d sent me for $ 50 my brake job. My brakes were fixed in a reasonable amount of time, but when I got the bill the $ 50 deduction wasn’t there. I asked the guy that completed my bill where the deduction was and he said the young lady quoted me the price to include my coupon deduction, WHICH WAS A LIE! She had no clue I had a coupon until I got there and gave it to her. Unfortunately she’d left for the day by that time and I couldn’t talk to her about it. At that point the guy asked me to wait, he leaves the room & goes to talk to the business owner. The door is open and I can hear her berating him saying in an angry voice, «What does she want? Does she want the sensor free? What?!!» Keep in mind I can hear their entire conversation which was so unprofessional! I DIDN’T WANT ANYTHING FREE! I WANTED THEM TO HONOR THE COUPON THEY SENT ME! When he comes back, he looked scared and tells me he took $ 30 my bill, I decline and tell him their coupon said $ 50 off, so he changes the bill again to reflect the $ 50 deduction. Although the work on my car was done well, the way the owner acted was so unprofessional and for her to think I wanted something free blew my mind and made me think less of her and her establishment. If I come into a business with the money to pay for a service that’s $ 800 why in the hell would u dispute a $ 50 deduction? $ 50!!! Thanks to the owner’s rude, mean and unprofessional behavior, she lost a loyal customer! She can keep her $ 50 coupons because I won’t ever spend another dime in her establishment!

While I think this is a great place and can exceed the expectations of Jaguar repairs, I had one serious issue.
After waiting 3 hours for my Jaguar to be diagnosed (easily remedied with a provided lunch — something the staff receives for free everyday… who does that!?), I went over the estimate with a staff member and declined the cited repairs. Afterwards, I asked for a copy of the estimate and was informed that it had been thrown away and there was no extra copy. I found this very odd, as I have never been denied a copy of an estimate before. So the staff member jotted down repair items on a hand written estimate. When I made mention that the initial estimate and the one he just wrote were different, I was given «some kind of» excuse. This, I did not appreciate.
Other than that, the staff is knowledgeable & friendly, and Debbie is GREAT!

I really felt it was necessary to post a review following my 3^rd shop visit with my 2005 XKR convertible. The first visit was for a synthetic oil change and state inspection. I quickly discovered Debbie and George to be wonderful to work with. Upon my return to pick up the car, they showed me 4 issues they discovered that warranted my attention. Coolant, transmission and differential leaks, as well as drive belt scheduled replacement. I concurred as they took the time to give me a close up view of the problems with the car on the lift. I really appreciated that as it helped for me to see the problems personally. They quoted reasonable prices for each repair, much less than jag dealerships would have quoted and I opted to fix 3 of the 4 items. George heard my concerns regarding the prices of two of the repair items and shaved the prices down as best he could which I again greatly appreciated. Following the repairs, I soon discovered the differential leak had returned and they apologetically took the car immediately back and discovered a faulty seal that jaguar had provided to them and they re-​installed another new one. Now the most interesting thing about this 3^rd repair was that they became concerned about a 2^nd seal on the differential that they anticipated would cause another leak in the near term and took it upon themselves to replace that seal as well AT NO COST! Now I know they lost money on this differential work. I have to say that I most certainly admire a repair shop that makes their reputation a TOP PRIORITY and takes pride in their work and relationship with their customers! Debbie and George, my convertible top goes off to your dedication and pride. Certainly, that must be the reason you have been in business with a shop full of special interest cars for the past 25 years! I will be back many more times, after all its a Jaguar. I urge others to do the same!

I am updating my review. I met with the owner (Debbie) to discuss my concerns and she sincerely wanted to make things right. She and her team were professional and they made all the necessary repairs to my XJ8.
Bottom line: Debbie restored my confidence in Top Line Jaguar as a repair organization and I am now a satisfied customer!

Unfortunately I was overcharged by mistake my first time here. But fortunately Debbie called me a few days later after reviewing the invoice. She apologized and made everything good by refunding the overcharge. Very professional. I will certainly return next time my car is under the weather.
So glad there is an alternative to the two Jaguar dealers in this area (haven’t had good experiences there) for work on my Jaguar.

i have taken my jaguar 2003 x type for the first time. i am very happy they are very helpful and do great job. also they provide excellent customer sevice. I realy appreciate.

I dropped my car off on August 9^th and heard nothing for almost a week. I called them and they said they had gotten the parts, but one was defective and needed to order it again. Waited another week and called again, they said the car would be ready in a few days. Called again a few days later and they now said something was wrong with the caliper. At the time of this writing, it’s August 28^th and I still don’t have my car. I have never seen anything like this ever in all my 38 years. We are approaching Three WEEKS and still, no car. I am incredulous. I would give this place zero stars but the site won’t let me. I have no car, so how can I rate their work? I will update this when I pick up the car.

We have taken our 2005 Jaguar S type there several time and are extremely happy. They are very professional and do a great job and are have the price of the dealers. As long as we have Jaguars we will always take them here.
