We went there on a Friday night at 6pm. Had hamburger/fries and a draft beer. It was good, but the live music was OK way TOOLOUD for that size of room. I would probably go back for the food and drink, but it would have to be when there isn’t any live music. There is just no reason that the music needed to be that loud. I am a little hard of hearing, but even more so now.

Drinks strong and good priced. The Burgers are epic, best in Springfield. I’ve also had a steak there and it was awesome as well. Love the atmosphere. Service with a smile always. It beats the heck out of the original Cody’s on Sunshine. I only can stand getting take out from the Sunshine location.

The pounder will make you cry. This is a bar that takes it’s food seriously. The fries are the best you can ask for from a potato and the burgers are huge. If I find a girl that can open her mouth and bite that burger without having to squish it down I will marry her. They are willing to change your burger up anyway you want. We had the mushroom swiss and the mushroom bacon burger. That is 1 pound of meat per burger, plus, bun and fixings, add the fries and holy cow you had better jog back to work.

I dig their nachos(I’ve tried so many nachos at so many places in Springfield and theirs is probably #2.) Plus their burgers are huge and their Long Islands come in a big ol’ Coke cup… yum! lol

Ended up at this lil restaurant bar with some family on NYE and had an alright time. I liked the lil party hats they handed out to everyone especially. The band was good enough and played music ranging from country tunes to Purple Rain by Prince. The drinks were strong and cheap(but then I’m from Cali). The only problem was that there wasn’t much of a younger crowd there. I’d definitely say the ideal age group was 40 – 60 with some 20’s and 30’s thrown in for flavor. Everyone was smiling and cool though, and it was an A-OK night just the same. Oh and I hear they have good food but the kitchen had closed by the time I got there just after 10. Might see ya there again(if my auntie pulls me out).

OK, I forgot about this place till yesterday. Picked up lunch on my break, I thought I’d gone to heaven. A half pound bacon swiss with sauted mushrooms under the bun, a hand full of fries and a side of cottage cheese. I’ve had A LOT of burgers in my life and this might possibly be the best burger I’ve ever had. They have a ton of other stuff on the menu I want to try including their regular size burger, the one pound. Ya I know, I got the little one, the one pound just scares me. And besides it all tasting great, for under ten bucks, I WASFULL. I think my burger and fries was around $ 6.86 and was worth every penny of it.
