I went there with a friend and had their steak. it was amazing!

When this place first came out it was a popular go to place for food and drinks. Now that it’s been out for a while, it seems to lose some of its luster. Not as many people come out as before. The drink and food menu is very big, but everything I’ve tried is average to me. The yard stick of beer though is a good deal for a lot of beer. Still a decent place to go to if your in the area.

Yard house has so many options which makes it so hard to choose from but easy to bring groups of people to since it caters to so many different palettes. Their mixed drinks and selection of beer is awesome. Definitely get a yard of beer because why go there and not get one you know? There happy hour is also my favorite thing in the world because it applies to so many of their awesome appetizers. The onion ring tower and vampire tacos are too good.

I was really, super, pleasantly surprised by my visit here. I know there are multiple locations, but it was my first visit to any of them. Beer selection is great. The service was excellent. And the FOOD? Oh. My. Goodness. Everything was unique and full of flavor. I could have eaten a table full of the hot & spicy edamame. I don’t know how to compliment any more without sounding like a Food Network Star reject. It was awesome. Will definitely be back soon to try all the other amazing-sounding things on the menu!

It’s Yardhouse. It has been a while ago now, but one of the many things that stood out about my visit here was that it seemed like the girl that was our waitress just did not want to progress with the natural flow of a meal. I appreciate her wanting to give us time to decide upon our meals, but each time you come to check on us you don’t stay there long enough for us to tell you we are ready to order! Then when we finally did eat we had to hound you to bring boxes to the whole table. As a waiter/waitress, I would hope that seeing how much food is left on an individual’s plate should clue you in on the fact that those people might need a plate also. SMHANYWAY… the food was good, but the precious lamb server needs a smidge bit more training.

Probably the nicest spot in Springfield area. For drinks and food. How I truly feel about Yardhouse. 1star For the pizza and mojito drinks. Don’t get it at all. The pizza is not all that at all. The crust is not all that. Don’t waste ur money if you feel eating pizza. Go to Italian spot. 2star Waiting for waiters to come to serve us. Some are good some are not good. 3star How u feel about the place bad or good 4star Hot new spot in Springfield 5star Calamari is on point. The way how they see up the place.

I really love this place for HH. It can get so packed after 5pm. The food is on point and very reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit expensive for happy hour. I wished they’d have some special happy hour drink specials though. I’ve gone here only for weekday HH’s and the place is happening! I love how their restaurant caters to a family-friendly environment and you can bring your kids here for happy hour at an early time too! Say 4pm you can enjoy some drinks and apps with the family without the mad rush, and happy hour is anywhere in the restaurant, not just at the bar!!! Food is on point like the chicken lettuce wraps, calamari, wings, I can’t name anything that I didn’t like trying here! Dessert was amazing too. Service is usually pretty friendly considering how packed they are. The only down side is it’s located in the mall, so parking can be such a pain because you’re dealing with the mall shoppers when you simply just wanna get in and out quick! Thanks for making it a reasonable place to go in the area.

This is just like any other Yard House that I have been to. Food is good but overpriced just like the beer selection. They keep it clean and classy inside which I like and it keeps me coming back. I have never seen a fight or any of that nonsense at any of their locations. The ambient lighting gives the place a great vibe and the music playing is always decent. If you want to come kick back, and watch a game without drama this is definitely the place. I would recommend going in for happy hour and getting the chicken nachos they are half price.

Outstanding service… I had minor issue with how well done medium is… And didn’t appreciate raw… The staff jumped thru hoops to ensure it was perfect!!! Thank you!!! This is service I like!

Place is always jam packed which is the only downside. I understand. I try to order steak just to see how it compares to expensive steak houses and in my opinion, Yardhouse is up there with the best! I ordered the Rib eye, rare and still mooing, and it was bloody fantastic. It has this butter on top which makes it that much better. It’s a tad pricy but it will melt in your mouth. BEER I don’t usually order wheat beers but they have different flavors. Strawberry, cherry, blueberry, and regular blue moon. I recommend the blueberry. They don’t take reservations so go on a weird time or be prepared to wait. Lots of drunken sloptarts on weekends so be prepared for that. Menu

I’m calling Yard House the updated Cheesecake Factory. The menu has a long list of items that can satisfy any appetite. Yard House is a modern American Bistro that serves classic American dishes and also puts a spin on popular Italian, Mexican and Asian inspired dishes. Food: Jerk Chicken Wings — Grilled nicely and seasoned with a mildly flavored jerk seasoning. I expected more of a wet sauce but the wings were dry and not saucy but you can ask for a side of jerk sauce for dipping. Overall, the jerk wings were juicy and flavorful. Street Tacos — You can choose from different types of protein or veggie tacos. You can mix n’ match the tacos and order them in any quantity. I ordered only one Baja Fish Taco to sample and it was fresh and delicious.
Spicy Jambalaya — Comes with Shrimp, Chicken-Andouille Sausage and very small pieces of crawfish. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken sausage so I would substitute that for more shrimp but otherwise the dish is very spicy and filling. You have an option of Rice or Linguine for the jambalaya dish. Linguine pasta is by far the best option since this is a cream based sauce. Dessert : Peach & Apple Cobbler — made fresh on site. Just the right amount of cobbler to fruit ratio. This is definitely a place I plan to revisit for dinner or a good Happy Hour.

Well, the service was terrible here on a Tuesday night. We waited for seating when 3 tables were sitting untouched. When we finally got out table of 4, the hostess brings us to a table with 3 seats. I tell her, we have a party of 4. She says, «there’s a chair over there». So, we have to grab our own seats. Tonic was not brought out with lime. Water’s were never refilled. After the food was brought out, the server only checked back once. I think they are operating on their namesake with not much competition. I can’t wait for Zinburger to open up. Will never come back. Poor service.

After playing some games at Dave & Buster’s we decided to drop by Yard House. We came in for an early dinner and the wait was about 30 mins for indoor seating. They also have outdoor seating. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host. Unfortunately, the hostess at the counter wasn’t all that friendly. Our server Megan was excellent. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. She checked on us during our meal and asked us if we were enjoying everything. Towards the end of our meal, the kitchen left us a little surprise in our dessert(not a good kind of surprise). I didn’t want to make it a big deal, just thought I’d bring it to the kitchens attention so that it doesn’t happen to other customers. Megan was so professional and quick to address it. Thank you Megan for being so great! There is plenty of indoor seating, they have bar seating as well. The restaurant gets packed quick though, especially on weekends. It was all hustle and bustle in here, with glassware hitting the floor left and right. We were a bit hesitant at first to try Yard House because of the 3.5 stars on Unilocal but I’m glad we did. Everything we ordered from start to finish was delicious. I can’t say we had a favorite from what we tried, since it was all seasoned well, came out fresh, and the portions were generous. Their drinks are amazing too. If you’re into fruity drinks, their Sunkissed Sangria is the way to go. Overall, I’m glad we tried Yard House and can’t wait to try some more items on their menu.

Their general rating of 3.5 hits the nail on the head. Food/3 Beer/4 Atmosphere/4 Service/3 Ordered the jerk chicken wings and Korean tacos. Big mistakes! The jerk chicken wings didn’t have that jerk flavor I was looking for; they just tasted burnt. The Korean tacos were very lackluster. I can go to H-mart and make myself tastier ones to be honest. My friend’s pasta wasn’t bad though so they do have some stand outs. So why do so many people flock here on the weekends? I’d say the atmosphere and beer really bring people in. Nice high ceiling, just the right amount of lighting, and a wide array of beers on tap. As for service, just average for me. Maybe I should stay away from their finger food and try an entrée instead!

Yardhouse for what it is, deserves 4 stars. It is basically a higher end sports bar with above average food. Now, don’t set your expectations too high, because in the end it is still just a sports bar. However, for what it is, the menu is extensive and the service is decent. I ordered the truffle fries(yum but could use more truffle flavor), the tuna poke bowl — definitely decent for a snack size, and when I ordered the lobster garlic noodles that came out too salty, they immediately replaced it with a norweigian salmon. The salmon came out perfectly cooked and the wasabi mashed potatoes had a slight taste of wasabi(i would’ve preferred a stronger taste) but overall, great dish. My friend’s ribeye was good as well — cooked perfectly medium rare. things that you shouldn’t expect from this spot — great fresh baguette. the bread looks like it’s straight from safeway and it was accompanied with some generic butter as well. there might be a few dishes that might have to be sent back due to inconsistency or flavor, salt, etc. but overlal, decent spot! When I’m around the area to go to topshop or just to meet a friend, I wouldn’t mind coming here for a drink and some food!

My friends have been die-hard fans of YH since its opening in Springfield. I’ve seen so many snapchat stories of the legendary yard and had the chance to come in for HH on a Friday afternoon. By the looks of it, the patio seating area gets packed and rowdy when the weather is nice. To avoid the loud noise level, opt to be seated inside. The first thing I noticed was how dark it is in the dining and bar area. I think it creates a less sports bar atmosphere, but I was blinded by the sun as soon as I left the restaurant. I skipped the brew this visit and started with a Jameson and ginger, and then a Jameson mule. There were little floaters in my Jameson and ginger… suspicious. BUT the Jameson mule was really exceptional. The mule is made with house-made ginger beer, so the ginger really pops. Take advantage of the lemon wedge in the drink, it kills a small amount of ginger«spiciness» and really levels out the whole beverage. My friend offered me a taste of her pineapple ale, which was reminiscent of a Mike’s hard beverage or something similar but of higher quality. I was able to try the ham and pineapple pizza, a decent size for a personal portion(maybe 9 inches across?). The crust was chewy and thin, like a mix between a flatbread and a NY plain slice. Another one of my friends ordered the boneless firecracker wings. On initial taste, the firecracker sauce tasted like Korean chicken wing sauce with a very delayed flavor of cilantro(not an aftertaste, but somehow just… delayed). The entire FOH was bustling with people for my entire visit but my servers were very attentive. Our original server was kind enough to introduce Robbie, our new server, during shift changeovers. I think we had 3 – 4 servers throughout the night for different drink orders as well as food, but everyone was extremely kind.

Ok well I have to say that our server, Allan, was very attentive and was prompt with our meals. My Carnitas Taco combo was to die for! This is definitely a place that I’ll keep coming back to! For sure! Well done, and thank you, Allan!

I know it’s a chain, but I am a fan of Yard House! They offer one of the best beer selections on tap I have seen. Their wine list, although not extensive, definitely has some different options than what you would normally expect in an ale house. The drink list has some interesting options as well. The menu can be overwhelming, but in a good way. There is something for everyone. Whatever you might be craving — tacos, burgers, pasta, steak, sandwiches, seafood, truffle fries, etc. — it’s on the Yard House menu. And their food is really good. This visit my husband and I split the queso with bacon chorizo and a turkey and bacon melt. The queso was rich and delicious. It had the slightest touch of spice from the chipotle and I loved the chunks of poblano. I also appreciated the warm flour tortillas served along with the chips. The sandwich was loaded with turkey and not the thin sliced deli variety. I loved the flavor and spice of the pickled jalapeño spread along with the crushed avocado. We had a great lunch! Service at the bar was fantastic. When we stopped in about 1:30 on a Friday they were not that busy, but things were definitely picking up as we left and Happy Hour was starting up(3 – 6 Monday through Friday). The bar area and tables were full. If Yard House were nearer to where we lived, I could see us making more frequent stops.

Yard House is located in the newest section of Springfield Town Center. This is a great place to get a good beer but not the best place to get a good entrée. Their beer selection is impressive; with a ton of beer on tap. As far as their food goes, I have never been impressed with any of their actual entrees. The burger I had was very dry. I recommend that if you want food go with the appetizers. I have yet to have an appetizer that I have not liked. Their happy hour deals on food is really good. You can save quite a lot if you order appetizers during happy hour. The garlic noodles are amazing. You get a huge portion for only $ 6.25. I’ve also tried their chicken nachos, kung pao calamari, and spinach cheese dip. I don’t think I would want to pay full price for any of these but their happy hour price makes it completely worth it. This place gets really crowded during happy hour, so I recommend you get there as soon as happy hour starts. Yard House is a great place for a beer, but if you want food I recommend you stick with appetizers, not entrees.

Love this place! Awesome happy hour, awesome vibe, and friendly staff. I was there with a gf and and we were just sitting there looking at the menu while we were waiting for our friends. I guess my friend looked sleepy because a server(not our server) came over and slapped his hands on our table. It completely shocked and scared my friend and I thought it was HILARIOUS! My friend wasn’t that thrilled but it made my day. The server said my friend looked sleepy and was just trying to wake her up. He was joking the whole time and I enjoyed it. Our server was nice and she knew her stuff. It was St. Patty’s week so they were able to make all their drinks green, which was pretty fun. I forgot the name of my drink but it was delicious. I also got green white wine. Food wise we just ate happy hour food like queso and onion towers. Love the onion towers! I get it each time I go. Honestly, their food a good and I love their happy hour.
