My country fried steak was full of gristle. My daughters chicken was dry. The portions were small. My baked apples were over cooked and gross

Service was nice, but the food was just meh. Definitely not worth the $ 30. Glad most of that was covered by a gift card we had. The food all needed more seasoning, especially salt. I ordered a chicken BLT sandwich. When my order came, there was no bacon on it(which the server noticed first and quickly corrected) and no lettuce to be found either. Not sure what was going on. The steak fries were undercooked and not very warm. My son’s chicken and dumplings were flavorless. All in all, I won’t be going back. The stars are only because our server was a nice guy.

Dont ask me why, but our family LOVES Cracker Barrel! ! OK I will tell you why. The country store is always a hit with the kids. They love digging around in all the cool stuff they have in there. The Food is actually not that bad at all. I have enjoyed many dishes from their Breakfast and Dinner menu. I LOVE Poached Eggs and they serve them here. The Chocolate Coke cake is heavenly.

Having worked at this location several years ago(after transferring from a store in another state), my opinion may be somewhat biased. Very rarely do we ever have a bad experience at Cracker Barrel and their food is always delicious! And with their pricing it doesn’t get any better. My problem is that I love so many of their dishes I have a hard time picking one! Some of my favorites that I would recommend are Momma’s French Toast, the Smokehouse Breakfast(I order this one often), Friday night Fish Fry, Saturday Chicken and Rice, Chicken and Dumplins, Grilled Chicken Salad, Baked Apple Dumplin(make sure you share it with someone, it’s HUGE!), the Chicken BLT, and Spicy Grilled Catfish. My favorite sides are the macaroni and cheese, hashbrown casserole, a side salad, green beans, and fried okra. TIP: If you order the Country Boy Breakfast(Ham/Steak/Pork Chop, three eggs, fried apples, hashbrown casserole, biscuits, grits & gravy) you can get unlimited apples and hashbrown casserole. This is not stated on the menu, and newer servers may not know about it. If not, just have them ask their trainer or manager. Of course, please just be honest and don’t order these extra sides for others in your party!

I usually shy away from chain restaurants but cracker barrel is special. For one thing, I don’t live within like a million miles from one, but yet local t. v keeps showing me their commercials. I have been to cracker barrel before in many states other than California. My first was Texas followed by west Virginia and North Carolina and now Utah. You can expect a few things here, good country cooking, great friendly country service at a consistent price and quality. Those are my qualifications of a perfect restaurant. I usually go for breakfast but I am sure that lunch and dinner are just as impressive. You cannot miss the hash brown casserole, in fact do yourself a favor and order a few extras on the side, trust me. When you are done eating you can tour the gift store or sit in a rocker on the front porch, it doesn’t get much better than that, Aloha

The food is diner Americana and there is plenty of it! The mashed potatoes are real not flakes and amazing! I recommend the chicken and dumplings and Shane as your server.

When visiting town we’ll go here just for fun. We’ve never had a bad experience but this last time all of us had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Other tables that had ordered AFTER us(and had more people!) got their food long before us and were almost done eating when we finally got ours. The least our server could do is bring out rolls while we waited. I complained to the manager(balding guy with glasses… didn’t get his name) and all he could say was«sorry that happened» over and over again. I’ve worked many years in customer service oriented jobs and if a table had to wait 50 minutes for their food I would have said and done a lot more than just saying«sorry.» I would have offered a discount or a free dessert for the inconvenience. Anything to make sure my customers enjoyed their time! When checking out I couldn’t believe I was paying for that experience so I got the manager again and said I needed some type of reimbursement for the inconvenience. He was not happy about that and treated us very rude. He took some money off the final check. But he was passive aggressive in his tone about it and not a very professional manager. He couldn’t genuinely see the situation for what it was and take responsibility(as a business.)

You have to be crazy if you don’t like Cracker Barrel in Utah County. I mean, restaurants around here sucks! Cracker Barrel has authentic country food. You might find better country food in other places but not in Utah Country for sure. I always go there. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. You name it, these guys got it ;)

Great food. Their ribs have lots of meat. I odered a deal for 5.99 but they were out so the made it up with ribs. And are delicious. Even ether than the ones in texas.(Tried dickies) a funny thing is that the restaurant door is inside the gift shop store. I had to loop arround the restaurant to find the door. But the food is the best don’t know why they have 3 stars.

The service was very good but the food was closer to a three. I ordered the meatloaf(decent) w/3 sides. I liked the carrots but the green beans tasted like they were canned & the mixed veggies were good. The biscuits were really tasty but a little salty. My husband had the trout but would have like more seasoning. My daughter liked her ham & potatoes. Other daughter got chicken fingers & was happy with those!

I LOVED this Cracker Barrel when I moved to Utah 10 years ago. Their food quality has gone down since then, but is still better than making it myself, or going to McDonalds. I recommend their chicken fried steak. Their service is always great.

LOVE the store. And the bread is delicious! It’s busy so they try to get you in and out pretty fast… Which is annoying but the food is good. Sometimes not enough seasoning but the price is really good.

Worst tasting gravy I ever had on a biscuit. Tasted like flour paste. No flavor no spices. Not coming back.

They’ve done away with their low carb menu, and their unwillingness to substitute items is ridiculous! If I order a breakfast and ask for broccoli instead of pancakes, grits and hash browns, they refuse to sub in the veggies for ALLTHREESIDES! Huh? One veggies versus THREE sides? Get ready to be nickel-and-dimed for everything now! I wanted whole wheat toast instead of regular toast(that’ll be $ 1.99 extra); want to add bacon? That’s $ 3. Want to top your grilled chicken with a slice of cheese(on a dish that used to include cheese but now you have to add it)? That’s a big $ 3 charge too. A meal at Cracker Barrel shouldn’t leave you hungry and cost close to $ 40 for 2 people. The portions have gotten so tiny it is ridiculous(see my photos — the grilled chicken tenderloins I was served on my most recent visit were SOSMALL)! I hate this place now. It’s too customer unfriendly. BOOCRACKERBARREL!
