I love this place. The food is really good, and the wine selection is great. The staff makes you feel comfortable. If you are in the area.

My wife and I came for dinner last night. This place is close to our home in St Augustine. We have been here a couple of times in the past and have been satisfied. My wife ordered the sprout salad topped with grouper and she thought it was very good. I ordered the the flat iron steak medallions and they were cooked to perfection and very tender and tasty. For dessert we split the Vermont crepes. They were also very good. The place is not very big and never seems crowded. I’m not sure why. The atmosphere is nice and the waitstaff are adequate. We will definitely return.

Says local and fresh that’s exactly what it was. Both meals we had were«filling» but we weren’t stuff and feeling uncomfortable after, food quality was spot on. We had room for the Nutella, walnut, raspberry crêpe dessert and that was just as good as dinner! If your looking for fresh and local, farm to table kind of place this is it!

This is our second trip to St Augustine and I wish my husband and I would’ve known about this place our first time around. Our kids ordered the pizza and they added chorizo since they love pepperoni, and they came out with crispy thin crust — just how they like it. I stole a bite and was impressed with the quality. My husband ordered the surf and turf special and I had the smoked salmon crêpe. I have to say we were not disappointed in the fresh ingredients and the quality of the food. We chatted with one of the employees and he mentioned that they buy local. Their selection of wine is pretty extensive so definitely a great place to go to if you’re staying on the island. The only reason I gave this four stars is because it’s a bit hidden out of the way in a strip mall, but quality of food and employees was easily a 5. Unfortunately we had an early dinner so the musician for live music was just setting up as we were leaving. This definitely will be on our go-to list of restaurants the next time we come back

Walked in not expecting much because most restaurants have made me that way. This place was the total opposite. It was clean, warm and inviting. It smelt like good food cooking! I was amazed! Then my food came out and both entrees were just perfect in presentation and taste. Oh and last but definitely least service was very good.

Just stopped, had no idea that a fresh food, local food, and great food — could be located in a Publix strip mall. And only a mile from our hotel. Beer and wine and entertainment tonight. Have the Flat Iron Steak, so good and local beef. My wife chose the crepes with sweet potato and black beans, outstanding. No room for the dessert. I’d go back, and there is a lot of parking.

Overly simplistic dinner menu but the food was superior. Beer and wine only. If you like savory crepes, this is your kind of place. They need to expand the menu and get out of the strip mall, THEN they’d be rockin!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. The passion the have for cooking & serving great food shows in all they do.

Lovely little bistro tucked away in the Publix shopping center on A1A. Food and service was amazing! Diamond, our server, was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and provided excellent service. My filet was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth! Then our meal was topped off by a delicious sweet potato tart. We had no intention on finishing the dessert(we just wanted to taste it) but ended up eating every last bite! A welcome breath of fresh air away from the crowded tourist areas!

Second visit to Ripe. Just as wonderful as the first. Great presentation of escargot, with a great texture and taste. The special flatbread pizza with pesto, tomatoes, fresh basil, and finished with a balsamic drizzle was wonderful. My companion immensely enjoyed his fish burritos. We will most definitely return again and again.

Great food and atmosphere! I had the lunch special which was a turkey and pesto pita — it was fabulous! Came with a fresh salad and blue corn chips. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. Great place tucked away to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee. Overall a wonderful lunch experience!

Super fun place with a terrific vibe. My blackened snapper was cooked perfectly and the Poke Bowl my love ordered was full of yummy Ahi Tuna. Very decent selection of brews on draft. Steven & Paul made us feel right at home treating us like old friends. All in all a great place, highly recommended!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Ripe. We had the skirt steak and cheese board. The steak was amazing and the cheese board was perfect– very large! Tried the«chlorophyll water” — tasted great too. The wine selection was extensive. Enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The owner, Jeff Holleran could not have been nicer. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I come to St Augustine Beach twice a year and found this place a couple of years ago and come back every visit now. Cozy and intimate with great food consisting of fresh, local and organic selections. The crepes are fantastic! Fairly extensive wine and beer selections and even live entertainment at times. Tables up front and lounge type seating in the back with a fireplace for ambience and warmth when needed. Service can be a little slow at times but we are never in a hurry when going here. Great place to just kick back with some great food and drink after a long day doing whatever you do. We always come back and will continue to do so when we visit.

This is certainly one of those hidden neighborhood gems that you have to look hard to find. The best way to describe it is like going over to a friends house that is a great chef and he has friends over that play music! This is a very cozy place with superb food, great wine and beer selections and the added benefit of live music a few nights a week. Chef does a great job with the abundant availability of local fresh fish and local veggies to offer something that pleases even the most finicky palate! Great food and excellent service! Rock on!

As a social lounge, the ambiance is cool enough, but as far as a dining experience, save yourself the heartache! We arrived to loud techno-reggae blasting, for waiters delight, complete w/flickering fake candles out of sync no less! I knew we should have left then, but the reviews were so positive?! The food was good, not great, and definitely nothing we would go back for… Waiter was horrible! My fiancé had to raise his hand for another bottle of wine :) only to be told that was the last bottle.

First time in, no food, just tipped back a couple of glasses of wine, experiencing the sweet release of a Friday night. Excellent ambiance, service, and overall experience. I’ll be going back. But be sure to get there early, oddly, they rolled up the sidewalk at 10PM on a Friday night. I want to take this in a different direction though. If you like live music, you know, one guy, playing an instrument, singing… this place is a must when Bernard Gray is playing. The guy’s talents on the keyboards are amazing(three sets, all being played at the same time). His voice is tremendous as well. He came over, chatted with us, gave us a little of his varied musical background(backing for the Dells, Aretha Franklin, etc) and handed me a card. Turns out you can get this guy for about $ 250 a night. Mobile Music by Bernard — 770.823.9404. I’m not one to do promos, but this guy was great. I liked Ripe. I loved it because Bernard was in the house.
