Domain Street Wine Bar

Pretty much the worst bar in the world due to extremely poor attitude and unprofessional staff. The blond female bartender is extremely rude and easily overwhelmed when busy, to the point that if you ask where your drink is she will start screaming at you! I feel bad for the bar manager as he seemed at a lose on how to handle her. I will NEVER return to this bar and highly suggest everyone avoid it.

Can’t be a 5 dollar pizzas on tuesday nights. Mostly appetizers but everything is baked not fried which is a plus in my book.
Great staff who know you by name and a great atmosphere. Weekends are a blast with live music.

Came here to meet some friends at happy hour. Tables in the front bar were full so I went to the back room and found exactly 0 clean tables. It took about 20 minutes for the rest of the group to show up and 10 of that was spent waiting for anyone to come back to greet me or even clean the table. They seem to cater only to the regulars and didn’t seem to care that our host of the evening had literally just moved to the neighborhood that day. They made a bad first impression on her and our crew.
The girls and I were here and finally got someone to take our orders. Server had to come back and say they were out of spring rolls and had been for quite a while because no one had been to Costco to buy appetizers for quite a while. That was less than encouraging but the drinks were all good and despite being from Costco the food was too (and let’s be real, I love Costco so no hate there). We were looking for another round of drinks or maybe our bill and 30 minutes later we were still waiting. Eventually we got the bill but had to wait another 15 minutes to process the cards. It was kind of ridiculous in the end and had a much better time nearby at an ice cream shop.

Best priced drinks in newtown. While i prefer a female bartender, Jon is the best male bartender ive had the pleasure to serve me my drinks. i just wish they would knock down their dividing wall and made a circle bar to encourage more customer interaction, because it sucks being at the backside of the bar.

This place has me at odds. I live close so its convenient to go here to have an app with a few drinks before doing something else. It’s a fun place to go to when they have live music on the weekends if they do.
I will say that the food is extremely limited and dull however. Seems to be a lot of frozen bar food type stuff thrown in a fryer plus the usual wine bar food like a plate of hummas or grapes and cheeses. They could step it up on the food side of things and change up the menu and or add better items.
As for drinks, this is a good place to grab some wine or cocktails. Prices won’t kill you and the drinks are good. All in all, go for drinks not the food. Hope they continue good live music on the weekends.

I love the Wine Bar. I know the three bartenders there and they are great. The wings are very meaty and the beer selection is great. It is a great time there, especially if there is a wedding reception across the way that usually moves to the Wine Bar after their bar closes. Great if you want to grab a drink and talk, watch the game, or relax in the fountain garden patio. Definitely worth the trip into New Town.

Great neighborhood wine bar. Friendly staff, good drinks and fun food specials, a great place to meet up with friends. The outdoor areas are my personal favorite… The volleyball games, lakes, and people watching.

Great view of the town. Wonderful patio summer they have bands and fire pit. Limited menu but you can’t beat the personal customer service. The bartenders make the happy here

Their menu is limited but with that said, they are a wine bar. It’s nothing quality but good enough for snacks. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences here. Hadn’t gone in months since my last experience and went in recently to meet a friend and won’t be going back once again. I’ve seen multiple people at the bar being literally ignored (even after making eye contact) for sometime till the bar tender is ready on their clock. Their service there seems very moody/​controlling and unhappy, not exactly what you want when your enjoying a glass of wine right after work. They seem to do well as a business but mostly because it’s within walking distance of the New Town Community but they wouldn’t make it anywhere else, especially with their staff. I’ve heard many people have endured the same experience. It’s a complete bummer because they could have so much more potential.
