Clay is the best!(Cute, too!) A little hidden gem off hwy 29, down the street from Dean and Deluca. This has been the most well dressed Cabernet experience. I love the wine selection here, and will be back again. We had a sweet ending with a complimentary«check-in» chocolate truffles with a pairing Port. Very nice! Price range is pretty wide, I’d say $ 22 — $ 100/bottle. I walked away with my own 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma Valley($ 36). Clean, beautiful, classy, quite and serene! This was a pleasant Valentines day with my sisters! A real crown experience!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Martini Cab is probably one of the best quality Cabs on the market and at great prices. Monte Rosso Cab is their king of Cabs… killer good wine. Don’t overlook the olive oil for sale… I promise you it will be the best olive oil you have ever dipped a piece of bread in!

Its nice you can bring in snacks from Dean and Deluca(or Cousins!) but other then that my wife and I just didn’t have a good time here. The atmosphere is morgue like, just a couple other couples there, one with a dog. Love the dog part but the guy holding the large pit bull looked more stressed then anything else. I can’t imagine why. The wine is underwhelming, particularly the first offering in the wine flight tasting like grape juice.

Very friendly staff and great wines! Wonderful patio area outside to enjoy your tastings at tables or outdoor benches. Large bar area that can serve lots of people. We took our 2 year old daughter with us and she had a blast outside. The place is very relaxing amd i would definitely visit again.

This place is located directly across from our favorite place to stay in Napa so it’s quite convenient. I did not think the service was great but the little patio out back is adorable and a great place to relax. 2011 Lot 1 Cabernet Sauvignon was as smooth as water, but with the $ 145 dollar price tag… ITBETTERBE lol. Nontheless, I have had many expensive wines and this was a favorite on the trip. Cheese and snack board was so/so. Overall, definitely would come back and grab a glass of the cabernet but probably wouldn’t do a tasting or order the snack board.

Friendly staff. Delicious wine flight. The Monte Rosso Mountain Red is pretty drinkable for a blend. I also enjoyed the port/chocolate combo

Beautiful facility! Came here with a friend based on a referral. Our initial experience was not great. We walked in waiting for about 15 minutes before we got a greeting. There was only one employee behind the bar. When we finally got a greeting it was short and not warm welcome. Eventually another staff, Megan, showed up and helped us. This is when things got better! We sat outside for a little then moved inside as it started to get warm. We finally planted ourselves in a cute out cove area with couches inside with AC. The service eventually warmed up and we truly enjoyed our Cabernet tastings. We requested for one of the cabs to be switched to a Mocasto and they were able to accommodate. We asked for additional almond cookies to go with this paring and they were nice about it. Would have added another star if it wasn’t for the initial lack of greeting. It took a different staff to turn the experience around. However, I’m willing to consider visiting again and give this place another shot when I’m back in Napa!

I like this place. Located conveniently in Napa and the winery allowed us to bring food from Dean and Deluca as long as we bought their wine which was absolutely fine. They have a cute patio in the back, perfect for a picnic. Their wines are also great, in particular their reds. Reasonably priced and great tasting. We buy it at our local Safeway all the time.

My favorite winery! If they ship to your state, join their wine club! Not only do I love the wine here(gnarly zin, lot 1, and the cab rose are some of my favs) but I really enjoy the laid back tasting. I always take my out of town guests here. You can sit outside and snack while you taste the wines. The pourers don’t go on and on about the wine or bug you to buy or join their club. Rather, they let the wines do all the talking :) The employees are extremely knowledgable and happy to answer any questions.

Wonderful stop! They have delicious wines and excellent and knowledgeable staff. We were lucky enough to run into Roger Ricciardi and he gave us a marvelous tour of the storage area and background information about Mr Martini and how the original building was constructed. He was extremely gracious and it was fun to learn more about their products and how they run their operation. Their wine club offers great flexibility with wines not available outside the club. We can’t wait to return and see how the new construction of the wine garden and tasting room transpires. It will be completed in the Spring of 2018. They offer an excellent assortment of local, seasonal provisions to go with their wine. Clay was an knowledgeable and friendly tasting room representative.

Of all the places we’ve visited in Napa, this was one of the most enjoyable! Friendly staff and very tasty wine and a great outdoor seating area. They offer food for purchase and a very affordable wine club. We will be visiting again!

Hands down best service I had in Napa! Staff is very friendly and accommodate every customer and tailors the experience based on what people like and what they do! Wine was all decent and my favorite was the gnarly zin a must have!!! Dog friendly and was amazing experience as they always treated us with respect even when my dates dog got loose!!! I would recommend this wine tasting bar or club! Lots of off menu items exclusively for only members or VIP!

Passport Stop #2 Lovely outdoor area that is ideal for sipping wine and relaxing on a nice sunny day The inside wine bar is spacious but not meant for large groups or multiple parties Really enjoyed the unique wine offerings along with the food pairings. The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the characteristics of the wine before and after the food tasting Overall Thoughts A solid experience at Louis Winery

Personally, I am not a fan of Cabernets, my husband however does enjoy red wine. I ended up skipping the tasting as it was all Cabs and went with the $ 5 glass of Moscato, which was wonderful! My husband did enjoy the tasting, but there were only 3 wines to sample and we felt like it went very quickly. The gentleman helping us was not particularly informational, however he did answer our questions that we asked, being newbies to the wine scene, I would say this is for more of the experienced wino and not a beginner. Had a nice time none the less!

Very cool place for some frill-free wine tasting. The gentlemen were very nice and we got their full attention since we were the only people in the tasting room. We did get there kind of early but what the hay, never to early for wine on a wine trip! Parking was easy, decorations were ok. Nothing to rave about or nothing particularly special. The gentlemen were pretty awesome, knowledgeable and quite friendly! They even showed us the room with all he barrels, drool drool! Lol. The wine was good but nothing great even though we did end up taking a bottle home with us. I would go back just because they were so friendly and try a different tasting.

This is an incredible winery, one of the originals along with Beringer, Mondavi and Krug. They have an amazing courtyard which you can bring your tastings outside to enjoy and come back for more. Their emphasis is red wine and they are incredible at it. Their Cabernets and port are the best! We had Mike himself show is around the winery which was more than anyone can ask for and so insightful! Highly recommend this place and a must for anyone who loves red wine!

When you and four of your raddest girlfriends need to get out of town, my advice is to NOT go to San Francisco and blow your load on Saturday night. But in the off-chance that you do, wine tasting in Napa is a *fantastic* idea for Sunday. My advice: get a Goupon for a limo(look for the ones that come stocked), plot 4 – 6 wineries, and get sippin’! The hair of the dog that bit ya is always the best cure. When these steps(plus the obligatory breakfast/brunch/lunch) have been achieved, you best get to Louis Martini. You will undoubtedly crave fresh air and sun, so taste a few, buy a bottle of your favorite, and get outside. The sprawling patio has spots in the shade, spots in the sun, tables, couches, umbrellas… This place has awesome wines. But separate and apart from that, it is a great place to relax. Whether you’re starting the morning slow, or you want to have a chill afternoon tasting, you will LOVE the outside seating at Louis. Depending on the time of year, you can luck out with some fantastic weather. No matter what time of year, you will taste some fantastic wines. The votes were in: all five of us were in unanimous agreement that Louis was the man. Second only to the future Mr. Allison M. ;-)

I really enjoyed going to the Louis M Martini winery. The staff was nice and the wine was very good… If you are a fan of cabernet sauvignon. The outdoor seating was great. Pretty red comfy cushioned chairs under umbrellas. Perfect place to share wine with friends and relax. I also appreciate that they give you water and bread sticks so you can clean your palate between tastings. I went on a Friday so there was plenty of parking. There is even special reserved parking for members. Overall a nice experience.

If we lived closer, this would be my husband’s choice for wine club membership! The wines were good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Louis Martini was the best«wine tasting» we’ve experienced. I put that in quotes because it’s not our favorite wine but the tasting was great! Wonderful outdoor patio, friendly and informative attendants, chill atmosphere, and so on!
