Great location(next to I-55 N or S); clean building, inside and out; never noisy; and the customer service is always on point. This particular store sits in the Loughborough Commons, so after completing your shopping, Bread Co. is so convenient for a lunch stop. The food is great and service is prompt.

Great Food but I wonder, does anyone else think that almost $ 9 for a turkey sandwich is high? The old St. Louis Bread Company was much more reasonable. Just sayng… and really, $ 6 for a bowl of soup…

Went to this Bread Company location on Saturday July 5th. Ordered a chocolate chip muffie and an oatmeal. I was given 2 bags and took them to my car. As I was eating the oatmeal the other bag started moving… a lot… I jumped out of my car, moved the bag slightly to see what was moving and it was a live mouse. A LIVEMOUSE!!! I was starving after getting up early and hitting Soulard market — it was raining cats and dogs and I almost stepped in a POODLE… I thought hmmmmm soup sounds good… I took a quick exit to this convenient location… When I got in there I did have the best of intentions of getting soup because they are all yummy but that damn mac-n-cheese was calling my name again… I even splurged on a add a bakery item for 99 cents… how can you go wrong… I got a carrot cupcake for later in the day… they packaged it in a very nice bakery box and bagged it for me… the packaging alone was worth 99 cents… impressed!!! What really makes me LOVE this place and want to give it 5 stars is as I was sitting I read the little table tent in front of me and found out that they have a program with turkey chili in a bread bowl and it is to provide meals to people in our community that could not otherwise afford to eat… They state that 1 in 6AMERICANS are going hungry on a daily basis… I don’t know about you but this breaks my heart with the amount of resources we have and waste that takes place I just feel there is no excuse for people going hungry here in AMERICA other than greed… It made me feel blessed and grateful and I will continue to support businesses that actually are putting programs in place that help those in need in our local community…

It’s a great location. Breadco is great about being fairly consistent across stores, and the people here are friendly. Biggest complaint? The jerks who come in the morning,(maybe) buy a cup of coffee, and sit there for hours hogging a booth. Yes, the Wi-Fi is free, but the intent is for customers to be able to use it while they eat, not for you to freeload and talk loudly on your cell phone. It would be great if the staff would do something about this. That said, it’s a good location, because the area doesn’t have much-a Burger King is the only other quick option. There are a few other restaurants, but parking and getting in and out of the lot is a challenge. All in all, a pretty good Breadco.

Good service… plenty of outlets… You cant beat the french onion soup, however, this location sometimes serves a cold soup that you have to heat up when they are busy. HOMELESS people asking for money has been addressed and I have not had that problem there in a year. The traffic flow is aproblem at all locations. You never have to wait in too much of a line… but it is difficult keeping your place in line without a struggle. That also could be because we St. Louisans have no idea how to stand in line and wait our turn. We just arent very self aware of our surroundings and run into each other a lot. How hard is it to look where you are going…

I mostly go to Panera/St. Louis Bread Co. to use the wi-fi and do computer work mostly. I appreciate they have wi-fi. I think that the food is very good here, but mostly I get a coffee, tea or fountain drink. I do not like the quality of the coffee or the hot tea(sometimes i sneak in my own hot tea bags, I am lame, I know) however, i do like the iced tea and the free refills. I love their soups and of course the bread & bagels. AND I like the new Rewards Card, great deal. At this particular location, I really like the layout, lots of tables, some comfy chairs and it does not seem that crowded even if there is a fair number of people. ONE complaint: Bums. I have twice been approached by a bum(by the same guy no less) looking for money while in this location(it is right by a bus stop) and I find that annoying, since part of the reason I am in restaurant(vs. a library) is to avoid being asked for money by a homeless person. I hope that the Loughborough Ave. location can be more vigilant about keeping the homeless out of their establishment, and perhaps only hassling the customers outside on the sidewalk or in the parking lot, which has also happened at this location(not Panera’s fault). (note: this seems to be the only review that actually deals with this actual location. The others raving about the food seem suspiciously overly positive. I mean the food’s good, but I haven’t been having dreams about the veggie sandwich, even though I thought it was pretty good, I mean really, it’s a sandwich people, geez.)

The thing I love about St. Louis Bread Company /Panera Bread is that the bread is unique. I have never tasted a piece of bread more delicious than the slices of french that they rip off to go with your soups. I am a big fan of their tomato mozzarella paninni but their french onion soup is to die for. The croutons on that thing have some sort of garlic flavoring which when soaked in the soup and cheese, are just delicious. The breakfast menu is also really good. They serve multiple types of egg quiches mixed with bacon or ham or spinach, etc… that are absolutely amazing. The breakfast sandwiches are on the paninni bread which is really good. They also serve a breakfast power sandwich which is supposed to be the healthier sandwich on whole wheat bread. Not gonna lie, it’s damn good.

Got dang these folks make a good sammy. I am a meat eater. Beyond description. I will do whatever it takes to get ahold of a piece of meat. I’ll hunt, I’ll stalk, I’ll shop at CostCo, whatever it takes. I have a craving however, and it cannot be quenched from any of the hippy dippy sandwich shops in CA. All of their veggie sandwiches suck. Not even worth a second thought. The veggie sandwich from St Louis Bread Company is the stuff dreams are made of. I have literally woken up with dreams of this damn sammich. Its that good. On honey wheat. One of my last meals. With a Zeltzer Seltzer.
