Went for dinner last night and had the fish fry buffet; which included a little salad bar, broasted chicken, and crab cakes in addition to fried fish. Broasted chicken was good, crab cake was pretty decent, and garlic mashed potatoes were tastier than others I’ve tried at most restaurants.
Salad bar included some choices like at family potlucks – corkscrew pasta salad, cole slaw… really liked the tossed salad, not totally special, but I liked that they also had chopped onions and other things to add.
My surprise of the buffet was the soup. Tasted like a smoked salmon chowder – Interesting flavor.
We’ll have to go back to try other things. Pizza on the buffet wasn’t the greatest but they have all kinds of other selections on the menu that look good. Bonus for being locally owned and made from scratch.

We took my family of 8 adults and 3 kids here after my sons preschool graduation. We had excellent service! The food came fast and surpassed our expectation of typical bar food. (Had the Mosquitos not been so bad we would have eaten outside on the patio/​sidewalk.) We will definitely be back for some good food soon!

Just all around solid. Go for the food, burgers from the «scratch» kitchen are outstanding and huge. Head back for the friendly service and good value.

Ordered taco pizza with no onions. It came with onions. We were offered a new one topping pizza ½ off.

We were looking for somewhere to grab a non-​fast food dinner on a Saturday night in St. Michael. We were pleased with our first experience here (in February). The kids steak was a BIG hit with our daughter. The salad we were able to get with it was also a BIG hit. I had a salad which was OK and my husband’s dinner was fine as well. It beats some of the other restaurants in town and I’d go back to try it again. There was a fundraiser going on that night which was kind of different but it was OK. I thought it was nice that we were asked how our food was and how our visit was — it made me feel like they cared about their perception — a nice touch.
