One of the Best Ice Cream places on St. Pete Beach. Ice cream always tasty and coffee very good. Service and prices are just as nice. View is amazing! Ice cream and florida Gulf sunset. What more can someone ask for in «Paradise»!

The ice cream is really good here, and they also sell candies, coffees, and other hot drinks. The ice cream brand is Working Cow, which is a locally company selling their own locally made ice cream. There’s a wide variety of flavors, something for everyone, and there are fat free and sugar free flavors too. Most importantly, the ice cream is FRESH. It doesn’t have a gnarly skin on it or frozen ice shards from sitting around languishing in the freezer. Staff has always been nice and more than willing to give free samples. I REALLY appreciate that they give samples on metal spoons which are then washed rather than plastic single-use spoons. Way more sea-turtle friendly, not to mention safer for all living creatures. A trip to Pass-A-Grille Beach isn’t complete without a scoop of ice cream from Paradise Sweets. Watch out for the seagulls! They’ll swoop right down and take your treat away!

Yummy treats! Yummy beverages and coffee in front of the beach! It was a sunny day and we had been to the beach and were looking for geocaches around. Became a bit hungry and thirsty and stopped here. There frappuccinos are glorious!

One of my favorite little coffee shops/icecream parlors. I love love love their soy latte and cappuccinos! So delicious and perfect to pickup when you are walking through town or down the beach. Great service and great treats. I recommend it to all my friends and always bring my visiting relatives here when they visit. Right in the middle of town and across from the beach. A+++

So delicious. We came twice: First time we only had a coffee and sat in the sun on their patio. The people working there are so friendly! Second time we went there for ice cream. We had the junior scoop(so big!) in the homemade waffle. We had vanilla and peanut butter(with peanut butter cups in it). It was so yummie!

the ice cream was really good, the service was nice. I would not get the hawaiian shaved ice again, it was very sugary and gross. Their selection of candy is not really a good one, i did notice they made their own waffle cones and that looked awesome. Also, really great location.

Great selection of ice cream, as well as coffee, Hawaiian shaved ice and candies. Perfect way to finish off a long day at the beach.

The ice cream is the best in the beach, but they consistently close early. It is supposed to close at nine and I have come at 8:30 many times and they’ve been closed. I’m tired of making the drive to arrive at a closed store, it’s bad business.

We spent a week in Pass-a-Grill in July and probably went to Paradise Sweets 8 times. The first time, it was packed with tons of grabby demanding kids(including mine) and flustered parents trying to get them settled. I heard one of the staff take a long slow breath once and that was as razzed as any of them got which was really admirable. We went for coffee from the pier a couple times in addition to stopping in to get early evening sweets. Every coffee and frozen treat was at least very good. Very clean atmosphere despite all the sticky hands and sugar coated smiles. My son insisted we go one last time before we left town and no one minded the delay before a 10 hour road trip. That says a lot.

Nifty little ice cream and candy shop right at the Pass-a-Grille Beach. Locals early in the morning change into tourists by afternoon. Fun outdoor area to sit and nurse your selection, get a little breeze from the fans, people watch and view the Gulf. When I was there the candy options were poorly stocked and almost out. Friendly clerk.

Parking is slightly iffy but this place is AWESOME. Best iced coffees in the area. Attentive, quick service, local beach bum feel and you can enjoy your drinks right on the beach! I have been in the area for almost a week and just discovered this place this morning — what a shame… would have come here every single morning if I had discovered it sooner! The BEST!

Anyone familiar with the beautiful summer weather we enjoy much of the year in Florida will appreciate this type of shop, especially when it’s located directly across from the beach. I’ve read the reviews on the coffee and I can appreciate having a great coffee shop to start the day, but to me this place is about a cold refreshment to recharge yourself after spending a day in the sun. This little oasis is the place to be when you’re craving something cold and sweet and you aren’t quite ready for that alcoholic beverage. I usually find myself torn between the«shave’ ice and a really good ice cream cone but more often than not I go for the soft velvety snow ball especially if they offer«tigers blood» flavoring as an option. Being this area is a popular tourist spot I thought the prices were fair, a small snow ball will run you about $ 3.50 before tax, but I’d say the small is comparable to a medium at most places. I think I need to clarify something before going forward please don’t confuse this treat with a snow-cone there is absolutely no comparison this Hawaiian inspired treat is so much more, this ice is shaved not ground so it’s all about the texture. They also offer plenty of candies choices in self-serve jars thats great to take with you for later. I did look over the ice cream selection and although as tempting as they were I didn’t try them so I can’t comment on the quality although this seemed to be the choice by most.

Pretty good ice cream(not soft serve) and a good selection. Nice happy staff. Reasonable prices and long hours. Beach atmosphere, as it is right across the street from the public beach at Pass A Grille. They have a few chairs out front, but nothing fancy.

We were looking for an ice cream place after spending the day at Fort Desoto which is south of st. Pete’s beach. Trusty Unilocal pointed us to Paradise Sweets. Even though it was slightly off of the route home, we decided to check it out. So glad we did… we got there just around sunset Christmas weekend. Not crowded at all and I appreciated the marriage of coffee and ice cream this place offered. Something for the kids and adults! I tried the pass-a-chino(with toasted coconut ice cream) which is their take on a Frappuccino… so delish and refreshing… it hit the spot! Toasted coconut and salted caramel amongst the varieties available! Definitely worth the trip!!!

It’s a cute sweet shoppe, located right across the street from the beach, near the very southern end of St. Pete Beach. They have all sorts of assorted candy, mostly sold by weight, a nice selection of ice cream, assorted muffins/pastries, and some pretty darned good coffee ta boot. The service is friendly. The scenery(including some outdoor seating) is right, and the prices are reasonable. A fine place to stop if you’re in the area.

I don’t have a whole lot to say other than this: The ice cream here is amazeballs. I had the salted caramel and my husband had a butterscotch flavor of some kind. Both were really delicious. It’s a great spot on the beach. I guess I will need to go back next year to try their coffee. Staff was incredibly friendly.

Great view of the water from the ~10 or so seats outside the shop. Jamaican music fits great with their location. Free wifi. Got the mocha — it was too sweet for me, but, the name of the place is Paradise Sweets, so I’m not gonna be that guy and knock a star off for that. Tip for newbies: The parking directly in front, on the café’s side of the street is free but 15mins only, so you’d need to be leaving(to where?). The other side of the street park as long as you like, and there were several spots open on a perfect beach Sunday. You pay at a little town-run machine, $ 1.50/hour.

Why 5 stars? Because I know there are a lot of these, but I love this one. — — — What is it about the beach and ice cream shops? I don’t know how we became so accustom to heating fattening dairy while out in the hot sun in our bikinis. Conventional wisdom says, «that don’t make no sense,» but what am I? Some kind of philosophizer? The ice cream here seems a notch above the rest. And they take credit cards, unlike many. 5 stars for you, Paradise.

Watta great place to stop in Pass-a-grille! For starters, they sell shave ice*. It’s the real deal, even the machine was manufactured in Hawaii. They pour decent coffee, espresso and have ice cream and baked goodies. The kids will love it. As good a place as any to stop for a treat in that area. Location, location, location. 4 stars, hooray! *if you don’t know, you betta axe somebody.
