Finding this place while walking around St. Pete Beach was a treat. Loved the taco selection and they tasted fantastic — one of the best I’ve ever had.

The owner was so nice and helpful with the entire menu. We were looking for a quick lunch before the beach and this just hit the spot. My boyfriend and I both had tacos and loved every bite :) great stop just in your bathing suit too I might add !! Try it for sure the service was so fast and so nice

Great service & located smack in middle of pass a grille cafés/bars & restaurants. Place is über cute & small, the guy that took my order over the phone aS really nice as well as the one that helped me on pick up. The food was great, they do have vegetarian options too.

We found this little hole in the wall taco shop(the best kind) while in Pass-A-Grill for breakfast. We had already eaten so we took a couple of burritos to go, we ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, they were GREAT! We liked the place so much we went back the next day for lunch, we had 2 different burritos that were both very good too. I grew up in Southern California so I know my Mexican and these were some of the best burritos outside of San Diego!

Had taco dinner with black beans and rice! If you like sweet and spicy try the honey habanero! Love to support local business!

Food was good, service was the worst I’ve encountered at any restaurant in my life. In our party of 6, my food was late because their oven was apparently not on.(No big deal). I had no problem waiting the ten minutes I was told it would take to finish my chicken nachos. We were offered a complimentary chips and queso but it never appeared. My three kids under 5 were beached-out and in need of naps, and the jelly fish sting on my leg was on fire thanks to my saltwater soaked shorts. I’m not sure exactly how long I waited but everyone had finished eating, my parents had gone next door and gotten ice cream, and they had left. At this point I had not received the chips and queso, or my meal. I walked inside and let the server know that my kids were very tired and we really needed to be going. I asked if I could possibly have a refund on those $ 10 chicken nachos I wouldn’t be eating. The woman behind the grill/oven area snapped back«sure can we get a refund on those chips and queso?» Um the ones we were promised, then never brought? After a very uncomfortable exchange she told the server to give me the money. Another staff member then approached me with a tip for my jellyfish sting but the server actually cut her off mid sentence and told her to get back to work. It was unreal, and even if the food was incredible(it was good, not great) I would NEVER go back there. What is sad to me is that based on food alone even with my meal mishap, I would have definitely gone back. Accidents happen, but having worked in the food industry, if my mistake ended up leaving someone waiting on food long after the rest of the party was done eating, I would have comped it automatically. I was astounded at the horrendous way I was treated, and will let all of my friends and family know. I am a local, from now on we will patron the other restaurants on the strip.

Looks like a side door to a restaurant but we took a chance and stopped in. Nothing fancy but it was a great grouper taco. Friendly service and decent price. We will be back on our next trip to PAG.

I like fish tacos. I’ve had good ones and I’ve had bad ones. Relative to Wahoo’s Fish Tacos(a chain in Colorado), the fish tacos at Pass-A-Taco were just«OK». Their guacamole was pretty good but it was served with the kind of tortilla chips you get with gas station nachos. The price was a little high but in Pass-A-Grille beach, that’s expected. The highlight was the staff. They were super, super friendly.

I’m not sure why this place has so few stars. We made a point to stop back here before we flew out because we were so enamored with their delicious grouper fish tacos! I also loved the veggie taco on corn tortillas the second time we went. The woman who owned the place was a joy as well! She was incredibly kind and provided sincere, genuine service. My whole family and I wished we could have taken this place back home with us.

I think this is my first and probably last 1-star review, but the tacos here were so gross I couldn’t eat them. The corn tortillas were stale and the meat tasted off. Plus, this is EXPENSIVE for tacos. I dropped $ 15 on 2 tacos, chips & guac and a Diet Coke. Not worth it for food I ended up throwing out.

The owner is very nice indeed! I met her and she does all the cooking as far as I can see in her tiny kitchen in the back. But honestly that was the worst rendition of Mexican food I ever could not even eat! I was very hungry at the time too — took one bite and that was it! Thank God there was a trash can right outside where I could throw my soft taco away without the owner seeing me! It’s too bad that there can’t be a real Mexican place on the Grille, because I love good Mexican food!

As near to a hole in the wall as you’ll get — not much larger than a food truck, with barely enough room for two people to turn around. The small menu focuses on a few items done right. The meat is slow-cooked daily — I had a pork burrito, and it was quite decent, if maybe just a tad bland. But that can be easily remedied, I figure. The owner is very accommodating, and will likely be happy to dial up the heat on your food if you request it. In fact, she’ll fix you up with a 3-lb. burrito spiced with ghost pepper powder if you have a death wish. In general, Pass-A-Taco is a nice departure from some of the touristy fare of other places near the beach.

This is the worst excuse for a restaurant I have ever experienced have never been to a restaurant where I was literally afraid of the owner and the food! The food looked like rotten garbage and the restaurant and the owner looked dirty. St. Pete Beach and the town are lovely and quaint so how did this health hazard get overlooked by the department of health! I would advise anyone thinking of eating there to just keep walking, go to Hurricane HATTIESNEXTDOOR or the ice cream shop but don’t order any food from this dump you will be sorely and sourly disappointed, ma be even infected with botulism! Service is frighting by this cigarette puffing hag wearing a filthy apron and overcharging for this slop! Just Pass on the Pass o Taco or you might pass out!

So Im in St. Pete on business and wanted a low-key dinner. I found Pass-A-Taco on Unilocal and gave it a try. The owner was so cool, she made some awesome pork tacos that were like nothing I’ve ever had. I loved the cabbage on the tacos and the guacamole was outstanding. Im coming back as soon as I can, might even grab dinner tomorrow before I head to the airport. Can’t say enough good things about her and pass-a-taco!

tiny little place but they were pumping out the food. maybe because it was holiday weekend and there were people everywhere, but all the chatter at the tables was positive. i had two pork tacos and chips/salsa. it was pretty good for beach food. kind of slow on the serving but worth the wait.

Great location and nice to be able to grab something besides a burger or a sandwich on the beach. The tacos were good, not really authentic or delicious, but good. Service was nice, very hospitable, lots of damn tourists kids running around but you expect that in this area.

Solid A-OK for location and light-ish snack option across the street from the beach. Food was OK, and I might have gone four stars but the prices seem a bit high. Maybe it’s location, or lack of competition, but if you bring a couple of hungry kids, it’s going to set you back a bit. Closed Monday. Tuesday through Thursday the hours are 11AM to 8PM, Friday and Saturday open until 9M. Sunday hours are noon to 8PM.

The service is superb! They even let my husband try a new recipe. I highly recommend the chicken tacos and beef burrito. The chips are warm and guacamole is delicious. It is just a small restaurant on the beach but I find those always to be the best :) You can’t help but stop when you smell the food cooking as you walk by.
