We walked into the room and it smelled moldy. We turned on the air conditioning thinking that it was just not used. Had a terrible nights sleep. Looked at the picture in my room above the bed and it was full of mold. We checked out and went to another place. I have cancer and a compromised immune system. Out of all fairness they did offer an upgraded room but I declined

Avoid, avoid, avoid. The room stinks, the A/C barely cools the room, the staff is not friendly, the TV is a 13inch tube. There is no elevator, this hotel needed an update 20 years ago, all this for the low low price of $ 70/night. Thanks for nothing Days Inn.

Very bad hotel. Old fashioned tvs. Old fashioned furniture. No pool. Not hot tubs… except the jacuzzi rooms. Rooms are Very small… not enough space. Bathroom is very small. Beds are uncomfortable… Not enough amenities. Fridge and microwave and the ironing board were the only nice things, We did get to check in early… but I no really care when it is as bad as this. We will not return. This hotel needs an upgrade of everything.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve stayed in the past decade. We looked for a good price and found this while traveling cross country. Had no idea what room would look like! First impression, a wave of mold and stagnation hit us. We have the a/c running, bathroom fan running, opened windows and it still stinks. Any longer than a week, and I might actually be worried about my health. The room looks disgusting and unclean. There are spots of stain(blood or some liquid) on lamp at entry, bathroom has weird thick yellow goobs on wall with pieces of hair next to it. Showerhead looks rusty and has some deposit on it. Tub has chips and looks dirty. God forbid I don’t wear flip flops around. Carpet clearly has dark stains in it. The old dark green pattern probably covers up a lot. All furniture is mismatched, old and smells inside. Pillows sink down to flatness and bed has an old, brown, ripped, spongy and thin foam between sheets and comforter. In lobby, café chairs are always dirty, as are tables. The 2 green chairs next to desk are stained, worn and have hair all over them. As I had to move desk aside to plug in my laptop, I saw a tiny roach behind desk. I frequently hear awkward conversations between angry clients asking for rooms to be cleaned and managers. Towels are small, thin and stained! Stains are black and brown so far. Wi-fi is awful, can’t get a good connection in room in evening/night. Mornings are slightly better. Tried gym and treadmill sounds like it’s about to break apart. Sadly, if you book for a whole week, they won’t even refund your money if you need to leave earlier.

Decent location. Close to 59. My biggest complaint is there is no elevator if you have a 2nd floor room. It’s a decent hotel. I stayed here three nights. The bed is comfortable — I slept well. It’s quiet. The bathroom is ok. Oh, the TV sucked! Some of the channels did not have good reception. Also, the shower could have been nicer. Didn’t like the water pressure. I could not access the internet with my IPAD, so the internet is still down. With all the things this hotel lacks, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable, which is better than other hotels in this area in this price range. All that said, I would stay here again as long as it was under $ 70. A better TV and working WiFi would have made this a more pleasant stay.

I’ve had to stay here a few times while in town on business, and I have to say it is an EXCELLENT hotel! Not in that 5 star, lush bathrobes, kiss your ass every minute of your stay kind of hotel, but in the great amenities, friendly service, yummy hot continental breakfast kind of way. Plus the location is great… right outside of Houston, so you don’t deal with the traffic, but you are minutes away from it if you want it. Across the highway is a great little shopping center with a bookstore, movie theater, some restaurants and more. If I ever go to Houston just for a mini getaway, this will definately be the hotel that I book!
