This place is AWESOME! I can’t believe it took us so long to discover this little gem! While it doesn’t look like much on the outside, the food is fabulous & the owners area wonderfully kind. If I get there later in the day I know that I might miss out on some of their delicious choices, but that is fine by me because I know what I am eating is fresh from that day. Unlike other places you know you aren’t eating yesterday(or the day before’s) leftovers! We love their buy 5 get 1 free sandwiches, the croissants are all delicious & if you haven’t ever had a Vietnamese coffee you need to try theirs!

Truly mom and pop. They close when they run out. Best to get there before 2p. Really friendly family. Best banh mi in SL and mo city. Period.

Delicious Bahn Mi sandwiches. They butter the bread and carrots! It’s fully loaded with carrots, cucumbers, cilantro and jalapenos. Bread is fresh and the perfect amount of crusty and crunchy. You can’t beat the price. Yummy Macaroons. Very sweet and friendly owners. Highly recommended!

Combo sandwiches cannot be beat. Buy 5 get 1 free! I read another review about how some kwazii lady said she prefers Lee sandwiches… lol@her. Shows how much she doesn’t know, do not pass Go, do not collect $ 200. The other 2 Parisian bakeries make a solid sandwich also but this place… this place’s sandwiches come fully loaded, stuffed with meats and veggies! The place isn’t busy due to its location but how else would you define a Hidden Treasure!!!

Definitely a good option for us fort benders unwilling to drive to bellaire for a good banh mi sandwich. Friendly staff, takes credit cards, good english… maybe this is a better option ;-). I ordered the banh mi special(a combination of meats, what kind? Assorted! Haha) it had just the right amount of butter and pâté spread goodness with all the normal fixin’s with no skimping out. Also had the banh bao(steam bun with pork or chicken, i got the pork) and to my pleasant surprise it had a boiled egg inside, delicious. Unfortunately someone made a large order of the pâté chaud before me and they didn’t have anymore but i highly recommend it(had previously). All in all a great place and I definitely will come back.

To be honest, I had driven into their parking lot before, but had always decided to go run down the street for something«Better.» Boy was I mistaken. A friend of mine highly recommended this place, so we went together. I got the special — which is really the only thing on the menu you need(you can probably skip all the other pork buns or pastries). It had a variety of meats, vegetables/cilantro, and pâté all on a toasty baguette. The portion, size, and taste is AMAZING. Match it up with Vietnamese coffee(strong, which means its good) for $ 5.50, and you have yourself an amazing lunch that will leave you full and happy.

I walked in around 1PM on a Thursday, and there were no egg rolls available. There was hardly any food in the counter and nothing above the counter in the warmer(imagine a device that holds pizzas). Two others also walked into the restaurant after me; 1PM isn’t really that late! I ordered a special banh mi, and it was nothing special. I definitely prefer Lee’s Sandwiches or even one of the shops in Hong Kong mall. The bread didn’t seem fresh or warm, as if it had been sitting out a while. There wasn’t that crunch that you’re supposed to get after baking the bread. As for taste, I only ate 1⁄3 of the sandwich. The meat wasn’t flavored like B12, and the carrots weren’t pickled. There was no jicama inside either. The steamed pork bun I requested was not good either. It was something you’d buy in a grocery store. Wrapped in saran wrap and zapped in the microwave with the saran wrap, the bun had a plastic-like coating, and the pork was gray. Inside was a hard-boiled egg, and it was over-hard. Disgusting. Worst of all, I asked for a receipt after using a credit card, and the store was unable to produce this. The guy called someone and wasn’t able to resolve the issue. He didn’t have any hand-written receipts either. He wrote on the back of a business card, and I had to tell him what my total was because he made a mistake. I won’t be back!

It is really hard to give a review of this place when it is not open. I came by on a Thursday at 5 o’clock in this place was locked up tight.

Nice place, nice people. I can’t do this. Well after reading the good reviews, decided to go. My experience was very different. Purchased what looked like a Flaky Pillsbury Biscuit with a chicken meatball placed inside before baking, A Chocolate Croissant with 5 Mini Chocolate Morsels inside, Apple Filled Crossaint with no Apple filling, and a Kolache with a Little Smokey inside. Very Disappointed.

Local mom and pop place does a pretty good job for my banh mi fix. Without having to go to china town. Everything inside the sandwich is good. The baguette though is stale and bland the last two times I was there. They just added French macarons. 6 to a box for 3.99. And they are wonderful, almost perfect, not too sweet. All the flavored were great. I really want to give them 3.5 stars. 4 stars for their macarons

Let’s get through the bad news first. Skip the croissants. All of them. Unfortunately it’s plain bread dough disguised a flaky, buttery, pastry. The dough is thick and chewy much like a dinner roll. Thankfully they make a mean banh mi! So far my favorite is the Special which includes a variety of meats(tofu too) and the usual vegetables. Plus it has a generous smear of pâté on the bread. You can actually see and taste it! I find many places are stingy with it. Lastly all of their sandwiches are priced around $ 3. Which is really good considering it’s not in Chinatown.

The folks in Parisian Bakery made us feel warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. The restaurant is basic with just the counter and a few small tables. It’s perfectly comfortable as a lunch spot or for grab-and-go. The food is spot-on, with good bread(crusty and thick), lots of veggies in the sandwiches, and a very generous portion of meat. We both had a pork sandwich and iced coffee set for $ 5.50 each: a good deal. We also tried the cream cheese croissant, which was a big hit! We also took home a couple of pork buns and a Chè Sâm Bo Luong(sweet, cold beverage/soupy kind of thing involving seaweed, fruit and beans… hard to explain but I like it!) Overall… a great little spot!

Since my first visit, I have been to Parisian Bakery 3 more times. That averages to 1 sandwich per week. My issue is that, not only do I want to try each and every sandwich, but I also feel this undying urge to try each and every croissant! In my quest to do so, I have tried the roast pork, chicken, and the tofu banh mi. All fantastic choices. The most surprising is the deliciousness of the tofu. The tofu is sliced and marinaded to be very savory and better-than-meat! The shining star of all the croissants is the almond. It is absolute heaven-in-your-mouth, warm-n-toasty, sweet-n-crunchy, on-the-brink-of-tears-from-happiness good. Go and get one! It is a necessity for joy in life.

Great little banh mi shop in the Stafford/Sugar Land! The location is near the Sonics, and where the Subway use to be. It is quite small, so seating is limited inside. We had the BBQ Pork Banh Mi and the flaky pastry with the pork meatball inside. The flavor of the BBQ Pork Banh Mi seemed different than what I was use to. It did not have that BBQ taste(grilled/charbroiled). But, it was moist, and not tough at all. Their bread was lacking the crispy bite I like to see and taste in a banh mi sandwich. Overall it was good. The flaky pastry with the pork meatball was heaven. The pastry crust was very flaky and buttery, and the pork filling was extremely flavorful. This is a great«grab and go» type of place, and they accept credit cards($ 5 minimum) unlike their competitor down the street(Don’s Café).

O.M.G. Why haven’t I tried these sandwiches before? Seriously among the top ten best things I have ever eaten. And they get tons of veggies into me! I am not an expert, obviously from the above, but either these are the best in class or I would die and go to heaven if I ate better ones. Bread crusty and tasty. Veggies fresh, and lots of them. I think the shredded chicken sandwich was the best, but they were all wonderful.(I got four different kinds for two people, thinking for the price we’d need two each for dinner. Wrong! Hubby has lunch tomorrow as well. My gosh, what a deal!) Also got some thin almond cookies and thick coconut cookies that were delish. I loved that they were not too sweet. This is not a super-good location, so I hope they advertise well and stay in business. It’s worth turning off 90 for if you know they are there. There’s a light where it’s convenient to make a u-turn — you just have to know they are there.

What a great addition to this area! I’m glad to see some worthwhile food places springing up in this Sugar Land locale. Any sweet shop or bakery instantly attracts my attention and I have to give them a try. This Parisian-inspired Vietnamese bakery does not disappoint. It seems to be a family run operation and those are always a pleasure to see. Service is very welcoming and friendly. They serve up lots of goodies from sandwiches(pâté, assorted meats of Vietnamese specialty), croissants(plain, almond, chocolate, pineapple, apple, etc.) and little meat filled pastries. We tried the pineapple, apple and plain croissants as well as the ground meat(pork) pastry. The croissants were buttery and flaky outside with a tender inside and delicious filling. The size is large and a good value. The meat pastry was crispy outer crust and a very flavorful savory pork meatball. We really enjoyed our purchases here. I will definitely be back to try other varieties and offerings.
