Worst service ever! I order from here time to time. But this time was the worst! I was out running errands & asked my boyfriend to order dinner for us. I arrive home & see the food. It’s nothing that I ordered. So I called them, an hour before closing to fix my order. The lady on the phone went about saying my boyfriend didn’t order garlic sauce, he ordered something else. So I’m saying«well what do we do from here. Because I won’t eat this & this isn’t what I wanted.» She goes on to say«that’s not my problem. I’m not sending another order out. Don’t order from here again. My driver already left. If you want another order, come pick it up.» So I then said«I’m not going out there. I want a refund then.» & because I said refund she says«don’t order from here again! You’re not getting a refund. I don’t care what you do after this.» She was just really nasty & rude. Had she just given me a refund if she didn’t want to exchange my meal, I wouldn’t have made this post. Please beware of what you order & who you order from. Usually my order is always right. So for her to act like this wasn’t right. There are better restaurants out here than this one anyhow.

Food was very good, lunch prices $ 7.00, portions a little small. Next time I’ll order an appetizer.

Best Chinese in Stamford and I’m from New York and am very picky. Fast delivery and always great quality!

I have been ordering from Panda Garden for many years, because the food was good and inexpensive. But something has changed in the last six months. The food is not nearly as good as it used to be. The home made dumplings are off. The lo mein is off. Even though Elaine is still taking orders, the ingredients they order are off. Something is not right, and I’m tired of hoping this order is the one that will prove me wrong. A shame. I have been a fan for more than a decade.

Order the wonton soup. I was hoping it was going to be as good as the one that I had when I was living in New Jersey. That’s all I ordered.

This is a traditional Chinese take out hole in the wall. They do have a section with tables, but I have never eaten at one, nor have I ever seen anyone else eating at one. They do a mostly take-out business. The Chow Fun(broad rice noodles) are greasy and slimy the way they should be. Their combination plates come with eggroll, fried rice and dish of your choice for approx $ 8. There is nothing fancy here. If you want healthy food or trendy food, this is not the place for you. I you want fast, tasty, Chinese comfort food, this is the place. I gave it 5 stars, not because it is a classy dining experience, but because I wanted traditional Chinese fast food and this place did exactly what I wanted, needed and expected.

So today I sent my wife to pick me up some Chinese because we both were craving for it and of course out of all days today is the worst experience from this Chinese restaurant so I call in place my chicken wings and shrimp fried rice order and her half chicken with pork dried rice 1 egg roll for my wife and my sweet and sour soup. I start with my chicken wings and there not fully cooked they look raw in the inside so I automatically throw them out then I start eating my rice and forget about that the rice is very soggy no flavor what so over and the soup was ok… I don’t even want to call my wife and see how her food was. she dropped food for me at work. wont be coming here again ;-/

Panda Garden is kind of like your favorite diner; good prices, consistently good food with oversize portions, and friendly staff. Lunch specials are a great value especially if you dine in, and the ingredients are always fresh. The roast pork is terrific, anything with garlic sauce rules, and the fried rice on the side is a meal unto itself.

I’ve been eating at Panda Garden for the past 15 years. I’ve always really liked it. Recently, I made an order for food, and what it came, I noticed that the Coke I ordered was missing. When I called them up, they asked me if they could just owe it to me, because I lived too far away. I live about 5 minutes from the restaurant, and I told them that I paid for it, and I would like the things that I ordered. When the delivery man came, he thrust the drink in my hand, and walked off. I understand that no one is perfect, and mistakes are going to happen, but own up to them. I have made orders from many other restaurants, and the times that things were forgotten, they came back and gave them to me, no questions asked. Are these people really going to remember to give me a bottle of Coke the next time I order from them? I highly doubt it. Their poor customer service lost them a customer. It isn’t like they are the only Chinese restaurant in Stamford.

Not the best food but a reasonable place to go for a cheap and hearty Americanized Chinese meal. I’ve never been unsatisfied here… but I’ve never been thrilled.

Food lives up to a decent joint. But the place is filthy which makes me wonder about the quality of the food? Frankly we have been going to this place for years and for some reason I just realized how disgusting the place is. If they don’t care about their upkeep, presentation and bathroom, I wonder if they take pride in what goes into their food?

Food is good. Prices are cheap. Typical Chinese take out joint. They accommodate special orders at lunch(usually chicken and broccoli with extra spicy garlic sauce). Steamed vegetable dumplings are better than most places. They have the chopsticks you that don’t need to be broken apart-a minor detail but one I appreciate. Once in awhile you get something that was rushed or has a bit too much sauce and oil, and is not as good as it usually is.

I have worked up the road from Panda Garden for almost 4 years and just tried them this past month. The staff seemed friendly, and the food was delicous and huge portions for such great prices. They have nice tables so you can sit down and eat it, without having to tip a waiter or take it to go. The only one complaint i would have is someone needs to get out in the dining area and clean the tables, and windex the wall of mirrors in there. There always really dirty Im sure from kids that come with their family. Other then that, My husband and I loved the food !

Lady on the phone is rude. The food has gotten bad over years. Just found a nice juicy bug. I’m done with this place.

I worked right next door to the place. We ate here once a week. Great portions, consistent taste and if you go enough, they remember what you order while you walk in. Service is fast. The Kung Pao chicken and the General Tsao’s are quite tasty. Prices are great for lunch. Wide selection on the menu also. We always walked there and ate in but the parking lot can be a nightmare. This is utility Chinese — tasty and affordable but not 5 stars.

My bf and I went here after a long search for Chinese food around town. Based on the other reviews, I thought we’d found a good location. We got egg rolls, chicken chow fun, and bbq pork & broccoli with rice. The food was decent, but it didn’t hit the spot for me. Definitely not the best Chinese food around, but it will suffice, if need be.

If you want fancy shmancy Chinese go to Tengda but if you want tasty and cheap go to panda garden. The food is always consistent and the staff is friendly. They take credit cards and delivery is quick. I am a very picky eater when it comes to Chinese restaurants and this restaurant is on my very short list of Chinese restaurants I’d recommend in the tri state.

Best Chinese Food in Stamford. Great lunch specials. Big fan of the boneless spare ribs, General Jensens Chicken, and Chicken and Broccoli w/Garlic Sauce. Check out their General Jensens and be sure to order it the next time you go, you wont be disappointed.

This is our favorite Chinese delivery restaurant. Large portion of food with really good rice. It is a little on the sticky side which tastes better than the regular jasmine rice. Very extensive menu with lots of variety. This may not be the best Chinese food around but you cannot beat their delivery service. It is quick and food always gets delivered hot and fresh. Good value food. We typically order from here every two weeks.

My aunt and uncle in CT rave about this place and recommend it to all of their friends. They even get this food for parties, in large quantities. After an hour long drive from Long Island, NY, my uncle proposes that I look over the menu and pick something so he can go get it. After much reluctance(and knowing I would not be eating til much later that night), I ordered a Shrimp and Veggie Lunch Special. Thank GOD I did that! I was ravenous and tore open that container after smelling the wonderfule fare. BOUNTIFULSHRIMP! BOUNTIFULAMOUNTSOFVEGGIES! To my surprise, this was no MSG-laden, carbon copy chinese take-out spot. It was seriously fresh. For the $ 7 my uncle shelled, he got a great deal. I ate everything and left the rice. I did eat a couple of spoonfulls and it was good too. Great take-out! I don’t know about the sit-in but I heard that was good too!
