Advance Lock & Key

What great service! Ash was great. He came to my house at the time promised. The work was quick and clean. I thought the price was fair. I would use Advance again.

Ash was very nice to us. He came to our house installed both a multi lock front door lock and a basement dead bolt lock. The prices are not cheap by any means, but the customer service is impeccable. He even fixed the lock on our side gate for us as a favor which really showed he cares for his customers. We will definitely refer them to future friends who need locks and such!

I called them for a quote on an ignition key and they told me $ 300. This was because it was 8pm, so the guy said come here in the morning and I’ll charge you $ 75. I came in the morning and the guy I talked to wasnt there. Dealt with another guy who 1^st said it wouldnt be ready today, told him the other guy said it would be ready today, so he then said ok it’ll be ready today. asked him how long, and he said «I dunno». I said you cant give me a window? a time frame…“I dunno”. Finally he said end of the day. I ask how much he says $ 200. Again I say the other guy said $ 75​.So we proceed to stare at each other and he just grumbles and goes «I dunno». So I get into the whole you say one thing the other guy says this, if you cant agree on the price and cant do my key today I’m going someplace else. He then says ok $ 75 and it’ll be done later, we will call you. This was 1130am. No call, I call at 330pm. He says he cant tell me when it’ll be ready but it WILL be ready today and he’ll call me when it’s done. No call. 630pm I call and talk to the original guy from the night before/​morning and he says «sorry, the computers are down, can’t do it today. call back in the morning» So I proceed to flip out and argue with him that I would of went somewhere else and that you said it’d be done and the other guy gave me a different price etc. He just says «I know, I hear ya». Bottom line is no one gives you a straight answer. The prices vary on who you speak to. They give you absolutely no certainies and there customer service/​rapport. I would never go here again. I rather pay triple the amount.

So, we all have our blonde moments. Mine was when I decided to check if spare room lock that I had not used in years still works. Only i left my bag, all other keys and phone charger in that room… And what you think happen next? Key got stuck in the lock and room locked up.
What did I do with little charge left on my phone? Call Advance Lock and Key, of course! They came in 20 min, fixed the lock, we found original key that worked like a dream, and everything was back to normal.
