So I read the reviews and decided to go three weeks back after calling and making sure she could do African American hair which she claims to have years of experience doing it in Brooklyn. This was not the case the owner did my hair and not only did she not know about my hair it came out a frizzy disaster. I’m not one to complain because she did wash my hair and blow it out but it didn’t look like a cleaner version of the hair I went in with and she had cut way too much off even after saying it was healthy. I also didn’t appreciate the fact that she said I was an interesting mix and how this country is so mixed it’s 2016 everyone is aware of the fact that people can be mixed race I know I look white and have black hair but to only bring that up wasn’t appropriate conversation other than that they were quiet and doing there own thing no trying to make you feel comfortable whatsoever. But the whole reason I’m even writing a bad review is because I was under the assumption she knew how to do my hair which she didn’t and lying just to get customers isn’t right. You either do or don’t it’s very simple. I would have just liked an honest answer.

Aisha is my go to hair stylist. She used to be in Brooklyn, but now I drive to Staten Island to get her haircuts. Yes, she is that good. She is the best hair stylist for curly hair around, and she is only charging $ 35! And she is just as good, if not better than the people charging $ 75 and higher in the city. If you have curly hair and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for a haircut, check this spot out.

Aisha gave me a perfect haircut. It was my first visit, it was a total experience that made me very happy. Everyone in the salon made me feel welcome and special!

Going to this salon was a great experience. The owner who’s name is Aisha was extremely accommodating. My mom went in with extremely damaged and dead hair. She completely transformed my moms hair with a color treatment and beautiful haircut and overall did a phenomenal job. We also got our eyebrows done which looked great! Overall this place is amazing and their staff is on point and very customer friendly. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants to have gorgeous hair and brows :)

This place is amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The owner did my hair. I got an ombré and it came out AMAZING. Literally the best color I’ve ever gotten at a salon ever. She did exactly as I asked and knew exactly what she was doing, The epitome of professional. And more importantly, she told me that she came in just for my appointment even though it should have been her day off which I thought was extremely nice of her when she told me that, considering certain circumstances such as it being the day after New Years Day.
I have gotten so many compliments on my hair from everyone who has seen it and everyone asked where I got it done. I would and do recommend this salon to anyone.
