I was always skeptical about buying a dog from a pet store. I always thought you have to go to a breeder Me and my wife time to time visited the puppies at Arcadia till one day we fell in love with a baby chihuahua and decided to take a chance and take him home! The staff was so helpful so concerned our puppy is perfect! There selection of puppies are top notch He’s is a gift! They went above and beyond there duties to make our experience perfect not once did I feel It was a one way transaction they are totally there for you! Not only do they show great business ethic they show LOVE changing my outlook I’m so glad they are so close to our home I encourage anyone who reads this post to feel free to buy and support Arcadia pets !

I had no idea that this pet store was on Staten Island… I stopped by just to look… I fell in love with the cutest Shih Tzu… couldn’t resist. The owners and the managers at this store and the sales people for that matter are just great, couldn’t be nicer. The owner, Cynthia, actually gave me her cell phone number if we needed anything. The manager Angelina, is very knowledgable and available for any questions. I felt like this pet store is very trustworthy. So far… everything has been great! Our new addition couldn’t be cuter… she is healthy and so much fun, worth every penny. I like Arcadia Pets and have and would recommend them to anyone…

I bought my first pet from Arcadia Pets and it was a wonderful experience.
I bought a 3 month old female German Shepherd, a very happy & healthy pup.
The staff is great, very supportive, very knowledgable and reachable by phone call or text 24⁄7. The store owner gives you her cell phone number at the time of purchase and welcomes texts or calls if you have any questions or concerns. You can tell they truly love animals and excellent customer service is their top priority. I would certainly recommend friends & family to shop at Arcadia Pets, and I know I will be returning to purchase my supplies.

We purchased our Pekingese puppy gizmo from Arcadia and we also shop for supplies there frequently… The staff is very helpful and friendly and our puppy is very healthy, and happy. We definitely recommend Arcadia to everyone for all your pet needs… They are terrific!

This is a perfect example of a small business owner with excellent customer service. I started a small fish tank and bought my fish here. The next day one fish looked like it had ick. I went back that day and Tommy helped me out. He gave me some things to add (for free ~ some gravel coral and sea salt) and a few tips and it worked! I had another issue so I went back and was helped and Boom fixed. Their fish stock is very healthy and well kept. They also have puppies (normally I hate seeing them sold in stores) HOWEVER they are well cared for and they sell like quickly. I love love this store. I will surely give them my business in the future.
