Best bagel in the Tri state area. Best service too. A little pricey but we’ll worth it. I dream about a hot everything bagel with butter from this place when I’m in the city where the bagels suck and the service sucks harder.

My hands down favorite bagel. Discovered the place years ago when my now husband lived on the island. Whenever I am in the neighborhood I stop in for a bagel for the next day. Staff is always very courteous and the price is unbelievable when compared to the bagels I get in NJ. Two bagels with veggie cream cheese $ 4. In NJ, $ 4 for one!

I don’t understand what people like about this place. What they make are not bagels but are huge bread balls cheaply made with cheap ingredients. Huge over proofed lumps of dough. Not to mention that a garlic bagel should have garlic on it, right? An everything bagel should have everything on it, right? This place is so stingy with the toppings they have to be cutting corners with everything else. That’s why their products taste weird or have no taste and are just globs of dough. It’s a shitty place. But it appeals to the fatten islanders that line up to buy this shit.

This bagel store was one of the best bagel stores on the island it has great food and very clean but the girls that they have working there can’t get a sandwich correct to save their lives, if I order a bagel with cream cheese I will get a bagel with butter instead every time I order more than one sandwich it’s completely completely wrong!!! There too busy talking to each other or there too busy texting on there phones, I am so done with this store I will never spend a dollar there again!!! I was spending $ 10 to $ 15 a day 5 days a week and on Sunday I would spend $ 35 for the family to eat.

Food here is pretty good. Bagels sometimes have a weird after taste almost like metal … I guess it’s the bins that they keep them in. Service however is not good. They need to improve on the people who work there. If the service was better they’d get 4 stars.

I usually stop here about 6am when I am traveling down Richmond Ave to Hylan BLVD. on my way to work. Wow, these bagels are huge and they make a nice filling breakfast. My favorites are the Sesame and the plain ones. If you are like me, than you probably want to ask the counter person to get you a light colored bagel rather than one that is dark. The light ones are a lot chewier. And if you get one with butter, be prepared to have butter all over your hands while you eat because these bagels are hot my friend and the butter melts quite fast. Have one with vegetable cream cheese, take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed. I have never had the coffee here so I can’t comment on it. My drink of choice when I am here is either a Nesquik, Yoo Hoo or Hot Chocolate to go with my bagel. So in conclusion, highly recommended…

Bagels are good Service is good front counter but once your bagel goes in the back to be prepared with eggs then the service gets scary I still go every week but I stop with the egg orders The coffee was terrible but now the got a coffee guy preparing everything so now it’s ok So if your looking for a good«Staten Island» bagel this place is not that bad

The two stars are for the mini bagles. They are excellent. One unpleasant guy so I have taken away two stars. I had a totaly different experience when the owner was in the store. For God’s sake ask me before you start packing bagels then don’t roll your eyes. I am buying them not getting them for free. Improve the check out experience and I will add two stars.

Ok so what am I doing in Staten island? I’m just visiting a friend of mine who lives in S. I and I come across to the bagel depot and I stop by and check it out. I’m hungry and want a sandwich before taking a ride on the train back to the ferry Usually I get a sandwich that is really cheap on the meat and I am so used to bx and Manhattan prices but $ 7.50 for a hero sandwich it better be good. Little did I know when I ordered the wolverine I was going to get a huge sandwich. Grilled chicken, ham, provolone cheese. Sweet baby they put a lot of meat on that bad boy. Good luck eating this one cause I eat heroes like it’s a snack and this one I could only eat half of it and I am full. Nice tasting sandwich
