My uncle with his big heart, purchase a custom made cake with a very old picture of my mom when she was two. My uncle is a big fan of this place and brags about there dessert. I know it’s located in Staten Island but he came all the way to Brooklyn just to put a smile on her face. One slice of the cake was more then enough. Creamy and just the perfect amount of sweet. The cropping of the picture was just perfect and made her cry. She was a happy customer!

I was a frequent customer at this bakery, but I stopped going because of the stuckup girls who work there. The cheesecakes, cookies and fresh loaves of bread are delicious, but the service sucks! I rather go to Rispoli’s on Bay st!

I was not happy at all. When I walked in, both girls behind the counter had their heads down doing whatever on their mobile phones. I had to approach the girl to tell her what I wanted. I was not acknowledged by either of them until I acknowledged them. I was the only one in the store!
The cupcakes were stale, the cream puff and éclair cream was very stiff and not tasty at all. The only item that was edible was the cannoli. Sorry… Never again.

Been here numerous time. Each time I got amazing service.
The cheesecake was out of this world. Especially the Oreo cheesecake. Many other options. Would definite continue to go back.

Nice little place. The employees are usually very pleasant, and greet you with a smile upon entry. Quite large selection given the smaller space. Only thing is that every time I’m in there, the red velvet cheese cake is always gone!!!

Buono is an excellent inexpensive old fashioned bakery. Their lobster tails are delicious and they make a creamy sugar free cheesecake. They have all kinds of meltaways that are scrumptious. Their Tiramisu cannot be beat. Give them a try!

Well as a consumer who tries to patronize my local stores * I was a bid miffed * I asked for a small container of canoli cream for a dish I was preparing * The sales girl went to the back * a different sales girl came to me saying they had run out of containers ?? therefore they couldn’t sell me the cream! The owner was peeking out of the door from the back*WHAT?! If you don’t want to sell the canoli cream (no special secret there) just come out and professionally say I’m sorry but we don’t sell it that way !! Don’t be rude and say you have no containers and just walk away ** See Ya there are plenty of other places to patronize !

affordable, delicious and a lot nicer than most Italian Bakeries i’ve been too… i’d say Buono is a great place. their service can get a little spotty sometimes because of all the young HS Italian chicks who work there. for the most part, they’re nice— but i’ve heard a few «huff» and «puffs» whenever i change my mind about what to get.
