Great pizza but have to say the prices are a little ridiculous. They need to start thinking differently how they price their food as many people starting to complain how expensive they are. Credit card fee, delivery charger, etc.

This place is a disgrace to the Italian culture, not one meal on that menu was cooked correctly, no taste but the taste of Sundays nights trash. curiously wondering who could make such terrible food I got a peak into the kitchen and what do u think I saw a bunch of Mexicans, and then on top of all this the food was INSANELY over priced like to the point where even if the food was good it still be overpriced, I’d really love to know how this place is not out of BUSINESS that’s the real mystery, where’s sherlock Holmes when you need him. The only thing good about this place was the service, the waitress was verry attentive to my needs.

Good pizza. One of my faves locally but the overcharging of fees are annoying and disheartening, forcing me to order from other pizzerias out of spite. Fee for delivery. Fee to pay by card. Fee for this and a fee for that. By the time they’re done, a large pie costs close to $ 30. Blah!

Very rarely do I go out of my way to post on Unilocal. When I do, it either because I loved it or tossed it in the trash. The other day I placed a very simple order, shrimp parm hero on garlic bread, and an order of baked clams. One hour 15 minutes later order arrived. Clams where the only reason they got 2 stars. Shrimp parm hero on garlic bread was missing cheese, garlic, and, oh the shrimp. I literally opened the sandwich to see if I was crazy… the chunk of what ever was supposed to be shrimp, was in fact all bread crumb and what appeared to be… well I don’t really know. Needless to say, I didn’t call them, I just cross them off my list as FAIL. hope this was helpful

I’ve been ordering here for many years and have always ordered a white pie with broccoli rabe. They’ve always made it prepared with ricotta and mozzarella cheese and the broccoli rabe. I just called and the young girl on the phone told me the price was $ 25 for a small pie. I kindly asked why because in the past it’s been $~16 and she said ‘well we charge $ 3 for ricotta’ and said she didn’t know why I thought the price would be $~16. I told her that I’ve been ordering here for years and I am a regular customer and that I wanted to talk to a manager. The manager got on the phone and repeated the same thing the girl said to me and told me that this has been the price forever and that maybe the girls just gave the wrong price in the past. I don’t mind a price change if they would communicate with the customer and tell us that they changed their prices but to flat out lie to a regular customer and make me feel like I’m stupid is disrespectful. I won’t be ordering from here ever again because they are price gouging people and are lying about it. It’s your customers that keep the business running Ciros — you won’t have any business left soon.

I’ve gone here with my family for about 6 years and it gets better and better each time. If you want something good and can wait for it, order the spaghetti or the rigatoni It is delicious. The pizza is thin crust but I don’t care the pizza is great anyway. I heard there is a new location in New Jersey so if you live there you won’t have to travel to New York to get there. I’m even sitting in there right now ordering my food. Rating 5⁄5

Ummmmm the girl who was working behind the counter wasn’t using gloves when she was touching pizza… how unsanitary! You’re going to touch money — perhaps the filthiest thing of all and then touch my food? No thanks.

Don’t really like to post bad reviews, I can generally always find SOMETHING good to say, but in this case — all I can say is let the buyer beware. don’t mind paying for quality but quality is not to be found here, nor is a good meal.

Why can’t this be in Little Italy instead of Staten Island??? They’re pizza is ADDICTIVE. I’ve never had a bad meal here, so I don’t know what happened with some of the other reviewers… but stuff happens.

Overpriced, mediocre food. Their pizza is thin crust with a splash of sauce and a little cheese. They charge $ 2.50 for delivery and $ 2.00 if you use a credit card. Talk about price gouging. This place squeezes their customers for every cent they can. This is one customer who won’t be back.

Horrible service, alright pizza. Sit down the waitress is so quick to go play a game on her phone with the other waitresses that she didn’t get me order of breadsticks. When I ask her about the order she just laughs and said she didn’t hear me. Doesn’t come back to ask how we are doing once. Drops off the pizza and only asks the person I’m with if they want a drink. That same person had to ask me in front of the waitress when she came back if is like a drink. Basic service skills are nonexistent. Playing games in front of a customer. Not okay. Glad I’m only visiting and don’t have to go back to this place again.

I used to come here a lot over 14 years ago– was a family favorite. When my father passed away we had a hard time going back so last time was my first in many years. It was a little late, so the emptiness was to be expected… but I didn’t find that to be an excuse for the bench seating to be utterly FILLED with crumbs in the creases. Total turnoff. Waitress was okay, not one to make eye contact. She would say something while looking in our direction then start looking away before she was finished. And she called us «guys» a few times, which is another personal peeve of mine. We ordered the large arugula salad which was pricey at $ 14.95 when there was little else in it but the greens and some cheese. It was good enough though. I did notice a hair in it, but I will assume it was the BF’s and not from the kitchen staff. Ordered a large specialty pizza– half broccoli rabe white and half chicken Marsala. The chicken was horrid, seemed more like processed«chicken product» which was the third turnoff of the evening. The broccoli rabe half was okay. Definitely wouldn’t come back after this experience. A shame, because it used to be good. Oddly enough, the one in Old Bridge is stellar in comparison, so I guess just go over the bridge to Joisey.

Best pizza in Huguenot. The service is fast, and the place is busy. They take credit cards.

Ciro’s has ok thin pizza but is overpriced for the quality of food I received. When I went as a group to dine it, the waiters were a little nasty and were quite rude. Yes, some of my friends had outside drinks, so they were giving us a hard time. We had to hide our drinks in our bags… I like a good thin pizza, but the cheese basically slid off and the crust was falling apart. It was a little TOO thin and a little burnt too. I ordered 2 slices and was still hungry after wards. Overall, it is ok once in a while to satisfy a good pizza craving. Plus, it is convenient for me to get here. Otherwise, I would not go out of my way or order for delivery.

One word. Disgusting ! I don’t get why people rant and rave over this place. It used to be good. Used to meaning like 5 years ago. Every time we ordered it was always over $ 45 and we just ignored it but one day we realized I JUST got a salad. He got a dish and we got an app. What could all that money be spent on? We realized my salad was almost $ 20 as well. Ridiculous. We just ordered today and I barely ate. I got chicken cutlet over it. It wasn’t even edible. It was so flat and rubbery i couldn’t even chew it. He got penne vodka w grilled chicken and we got mozz sticks, total came to $ 48. Over $ 50 with tip. What a waste of money ! And I’m still hungry … Never again.

I like the food and the pizza is good. However the prices are our of control, and they charge you for delivery and I live up the block! it’s a nice place to dine in if you want to over pay for average food. The take out staff are all young kids so you can imagine the service. This place could be so much better… oh well.

Used to order from Ciro’s every week. Spent a decent amount of money there over the course of a year. One night they delivered a burnt pie. I called to complain & they told me people say this sort of thing all the time in order to get free food. I told them I was not looking for free food, I wanted edible food. They lost me as a customer that night.

Sadly, Ciro’s has went downhill. Tonight will be my last time ordering. We ordered over the phone and were quoted 15 minutes. The girl then said several times that they didn’t take credit cards. We arrived, 20 minutes after our call. The girl made us pay, in cash, and said that our order wasn’t ready. Then, she called out that they she needed them to make a part of my order. 20 minutes and they hadn’t started a part of my order. I waited an ADDITIONAL10 minutes before actually receiving my food. For TWO items, my bill was about $ 25. When I got home and opened my bag, I realized they didn’t put the bread that comes with my entrée in the bag. I’m willing to pay for food and service. I’m not willing to pay $ 25 to get half the service I expect, and half of my order… in cash
