The fact that the place was empty should have been my first clue. One drink minimum after getting a hookah, really!!! Hookah prices were average just like the service. The décor was too much green. I felt like I was wearing night vision goggles. The music was blasting way too loud for mostly empty place. Never coming here again!!!

HORRIBLE!!! Do not go! Nothing positive to say about them! It’s over priced and dirty looking place; we paid $ 70 for 3 regular hookahs, 2 waters and a milk shake. They charged us 20 for service and tax on a $ 50 total. The hookahs were mediocre at best and so was the service. Our mouthpieces didn’t fit because they«ordered cheap ones», if you charge that much for your hookah make sure you order good products! I have no idea how this place stays in business I am never going again! -* rating!

WAYOVERPRICED!!! $ 35 dollars for 2 waters, a $ 12 hookah and bubbles… YEP $ 3 for BUBBLES!!! The place plays non-stop techno… no variety of music… what happened to Sitar and relaxing music? HEADACHECENTRAL! They require you to have a drink, however charge you $ 2.50 for ice water! If it’s required, shouldn’t it be at least free water? They charged us more than a 20% service charge and only turned the coals twice in two hours. Next time you go here, bring your own bubbles and water and save yourselves more than $ 10. What a ripoff! Not to mention it has cheap stained furniture, holes and mites in the coaches and tables where you can stick ur thumb half way through. If you are a techno head lookin to spend mommy and daddy’s hard earned money and are too young to go to a real bar… than this is your place! Ur better off buying your own hookah for $ 30 and drinking nice drinks at home listening to your own music. I went to a place in the ritziest section of the East side in Manhattan and spent $ 20 for a hookah and two craft beers, with leather lounge chairs and calm Middle Eastern music and had my own tweezers to turn my own coals… and guess what… water n bubbles were complimentary!!! Have fun spending your money at this dump!!!

Great little hookah place! Cozy lounge-like décor, amazing up-to-date music and great prices on the hookah – you cannot ask for more, especially out on staten island! The owner is very friendly and takes his time to introduce himself to each and every table and makes sure everything is just perfect. He even offered to give us another flavor of hookah and brand new coal on the house just because it was early and he did not want us to have to leave! The waitresses and guys who refill the coal are also very attentive, leaving no time wasted. A must-try for any hookah lover, or even if you have never had hookah before, you may become hooked!

Cleopatra opened in July 2011 and has been increasing its customers, primarily through word of mouth. Hookahs start at $ 10. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: The place is well decorated and modern(although they could add a little more, maybe décor hanging from the ceiling), they have a full food menu but it doesn’t feel like a restaurant but more like a lounge, they have free WiFi, it’s just small enough that you can meet people but not too small like a closet, and the owner & staff are friendly and welcoming. They have TV and will let you pick what you want to watch. They are open 7 days per week. They have a/c. Parking is on the street, but there are free spots to park. There are plenty of outlets to plug in your laptop. Cons: They sometimes do not open on time, they do not have alcohol or BYOB, and you have to put your laptop on your lap, as the tables are too short(you’d have to bend over funny to reach them). Wednesday is Carribean night. Thursday is Russian night. Saturday there is a belly dancer. More TBA.
