Mitoushi Sushi

This is my go-​to spot for sushi. A good buddy of mine had recommended this place to me and I have never looked back. The place is always busy, which means the sushi is always fresh. He also is very reasonable and gives you healthy portions of food for the price. Delivery is always very quick and it is a cozy environment if you do decide to sit down.

This is my go-​to sushi restaurant on the island.
Very reasonably priced sushi that is fresh and great mochi ice cream for dessert.
The lunch specials will especially get you a bang for your buck.
I’ve been here plenty of times and have never had a bad experience!

Great sushi! Great prices! Friendly & courteous staff! I always see regulars conversing & joking with the staff. It’s a very hospitable place with attentive waitresses & an overall friendly staff. I’ve also got their food delivered before & they never mess up my order, they usually arrive earlier than they say & the delivery people are very pleasant! I love this place

Good for the value, especially cheap rolls and lunch specials. I’ve tried many of their special rolls and they were all fresh and delicious. I wouldn’t consider it very high quality sushi (go to Manhattan for that), but you get what you paid for with lower prices. Overall, friendly staff, good service, and tasty food.

I can’t believe some of the negative reviews. We have been coming here for many years at least once a week. The sashimi/​sushi is very fresh and always good! Eric and Aaron are always greeting the customers and make you feel like family!

This place doesn’t give a clear description of their boxes. When disappointed that the shrimp tempura box came out just fried shrimp and fried veggies, our waitress was confused that we said shrimp tempura rolls. She told us well this is what you ordered. Then walked away.
Totally ruined my day, she wasn’t even apologetic. The sushi I did have made me so sick as well. Definitely not giving this place another try. Thumbs down.

comparing to other sushi bars on the island this place is cheap.
the sushi is cheap, chewy and unflavored.
so chewy that i left with a sore jaw. didn’t think i would be working out my jaw muscles for a eating competition. now i can tackle that steak challenge i always wanted to do…
if you want cheap sushi then its the place to be.
you get what you payed for.

The food is okay, but the service is terrible. They made a mistake with my order and spilled sauce all over my food… When I called them back they made a huge fuss. I’ll never eat from there again

Salmon teriyaki lunch combination is okay, for $ 9.74 w/​tax.
+1s — The salmon is crisp, pretty tasty, and in a monsoon of teriyaki sauce so you never feel shorted.
–1s — California roll that comes with it is full of avocado and not much fish.
Salad is whatever, too.
The combination doesn’t really satisfy; just the salmon teriyaki does. The rest feels like filler, without the filling effect.
Maybe I’m expecting a blue collar lunch special out here, and it isn’t quite that.

The absolute worst ever. The sushi is not bad, but when they send you a delivery or pick up they are super stingy. I order for 50 dollars worth of sushi and they send me 2 soy sauces on the side. No extra ginger as asked !!! Just so so rude they make faces or give you an attitude if you ask for something more. So annoying.

This is one of the best sushi places on the island. As others have stated it gets crowded later in the day. The atmosphere is very casual and cute. It is EXTREMELY nice considering how low their prices are! Definitely a hidden gem! I haven’t had a bad experience so I can only say positive things. I definitely recommend.

Love the sushi, but go early because it gets very crowded and the tables are really close to each other.

One of the best sushi spots on Staten Island. The food has been great each time that I have dined in or ordered a delivery. Their rolls are a bit smaller than your average sushi roll, but the price is cheap as well, so that explains it. Friendly staff, good customer service, and great food. I’m surely a regular customer that they will never lose.

I found a tremendous worm in my White Tuna Sashimi today, after spending almost $ 30 on my dinner. They did not offer me my money back.
This was a place I used to order from ALL THE TIME. Never again. Avoid like the plague.

Good sushi for great prices. Just about everyone I know in Staten Island loves this place. I usually pick up. Dining in is a nice experience. Overall, definitely worth it!

So I finally thought it was time to give a review for one of my fave sushi spots. I live in the area and its very convenient for me and the hubby to order in or dine out. The food always tastes fresh and is always delicious, we never had any issues. The service is also great! I never once waited long for my food to come and I’ve been here about a dozen or more times. Eric the manager is great and always does the right thing by us. He makes a fun atmosphere and is extremely accommodating.
As always I order the California roll and shrimp tempura with brown rice and Kani salad. All of which are good. Hubby orders the negamaki and spicy crunchy Tuna rolls. For a really tasty and healthy appetizer order the broiled salmon with the green sauce, its amazing! Hubby has said in the past that the tuna tastes fresher then some of the other sushi spots we have been too that are even more pricey. Speaking of price everything is very reasonable and that goes for both lunch and dinner. Dinner and drinks for two usually runs you around 50 bucks total which is very reasonable. We love coming to «old faithful» Never disappoints.

I come here everyte me in in the mood for sushi. The best in the north side! Nice staff. Great fresh sushi. An easy layout as to sitting layout in the restaurant. I usually order my option 4 on the Maki Menu. California rolls, spicy tuna and shrimp Tampura are my favorite!

This is the only sushi place I keep coming back to since I’ve moved to Staten Island. It’s delish every time and fresh. I’m pretty sure from all the times I’ve been here I’ve tried everything on the menu. Their special rolls are delish!
My fav appetizer is the spicy tuna ami! Must try, it’s a bit on the expensive side though but totally worth it.
Their fried ice cream is the only one I ever liked.
This is always my go to place if I don’t know what I’m craving for and don’t want to leave Staten Island.
The place is nice and clean.
