We’ve ordered from this restaurant 1 – 2 times every single month for the past year. We order online and have the food delivered. Food is always great. When you eat at the restaurant their plating and food presentations are always beautiful and creative. I wish they could put a little of that creativity into the presentation of their to go orders. Other than that, I eat here so much that obviously i’d recommend it to anyone.

This is the best Sushi on the island! We take out here several times a month and the staff is amazing! They always recommend new dishes and when there is a wait, it is always with a complimentary glass of wine! Some of my favorites are the dragon roll, any of the four season rolls, Malaysian shrimp fried rice, rock shrimp tempura, bento boxes. I could go on and on. Family friendly atmosphere and they strive to make your experience a great one so that you’ll come back!

Even though I got take out, the portion size is very good for the price. Their Pad Thai is delicious. Hibachi was amazing and the sushi was freshly-made. Don’t miss out!

Amazing service. Fast and friendly. Food is amazing. I have dined here many times and found all of the servers very friendly and the food always fresh. The rolls are amazing and they have Mochi balls which are my kids favorite.

They had plenty of room on New Year’s Eve. Great ginger dressing on the house salad. Hot green tea was burnt tasting :-(. Lobster was over cooked, but the hibachi sauce, fried rice and vegetables were good. The clear soup was a little too fishy tasting. But the miso was excellent, so was the ginger that came with the really delicious dynamite roll. The chicken katsu was also really good and was a really big portion.

This place was awesome! Three of us were greeted with a hot towel to clean our hands before a lovely meal. Unfortunately, Wednesday happy hour special is buy one get one free so we were a little juiced up. If I can give any adventurous eater advice it would be: ask your server. As a former restaurant employee, I can tell you the staff knows what’s best. I can’t tell you everything we ordered, but the curry hot pot was fantastic. We managed to grab one of the fee parking spots in back. Awesome find on the Island!

Super impressed with how delicious, FRESH and high quality of their seafood was. My husband ordered 8 pieces of sashimi and the waiter told us they had just gotten the tuna that day. My husband said it was hands down the best sashimi he has had. I had the spicy crunch tuna which had a generous amount of tuna! And I can say the same about all of the other rolls we ordered, mango shrimp, california and rainbow. All had generous amount of filling and a nice thin layer of rice. The waiter was attentive and they also gave a hot towel for us to wipe our hands when we arrived. The waiter even asked if it was our first time there(which it was) and said he hoped we would come back. The prices are very reasonable too! No extra cost for sauces like some(cheap) restaurants. Will definitely return for sushi!

After shopping in NJ and on the way home, we stopped here for dinner. I’m so glad we found this place and ate dinner here. We arrived around 6 and there was no wait on a Sunday evening. The owner and staff is very friendly and nice. Good recommendations as well. We ordered the chef selection sashimi– amazing– fish was fresh! It had toro, miyaki, salmon, etc. I personally loved the salmon tartar as well, tasty. We also ordered the fantastic roll and the kaminske(not sure of spelling) roll. Liked the fantastic roll, so flavorful. The other one was ok, interesting but ok. Others non raw fish eaters, had the yakiudon which they thought was good. The dinner bento box with salmon teriyaki and tempura. The only complaint here was the shrimp tempura wasn’t as fresh but everything else was good according to them. All in all, good find and will be back one day! By the way, with AT&T there was barely any reception so couldn’t utilize the 10% off first check in… oh well.

REVIEWFORSTATENISLANDFOODIESONLY: Haute Japanese Cuisine in Port Richmond. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant on the Island and I have been to all of them. Every time I come the fish is fresh and the service is excellent. Was there this past Saturday with a friend, who is from the South Shore and made her a fan. This restaurant never disappoints.

Came here as a last minute Thai craving when driving from NJ back to Brooklyn. We ordered Pad Thai, Rock Shrimp, and other Thai dishes. The food didn’t taste that good. The Thai food didn’t taste like the traditional food. I believe they have a high ranking due to their sushi which we didn’t eat. Service was very good which kept the rating to a 3.

I love this place. Seriously great quality all around. The fish is super fresh and the duck pad thai is to die for(the also make it more spicy if you ask). The service is totally on point and very friendly. Not only do I sit in the restaurant which also includes a small bar to sit at but even when they’re delivering they give you the same quality of service. It is so awesome to have a restaurant like this on staten island.

Simply one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I have ever been to. These guys do not cut any corners at all. They use only the best ingredients, you can tell from the taste. The best part is that the food is not salty, it’s very flavorful. The food is fresh and the portions are generous. Their service is wonderful. They are attentive & welcoming. We were a party of 6 and got seated but the place is well known and got pretty packed afterwards. I will definitely come back again.

Nice little restaurant where Sushi Pronto used to be. The décor here is still similar or possibly the same as it was with the former restaurant — sort of cozy and café style. Service was good and friendly. When the hostess saw me shivering from the cold weather as I walked in, she told the waitress to hand me a hot hand towel and sit me farther from the entrance. They serve Japanese and Malaysian and Thai style dishes, though with an Chinese impression to be honest — the owners are Chinese. The price point is not bad — I had an asahi beer for 4 bucks. A pan fried Malaysian rice noodle dish with shrimp was pretty tasty and only cost 10 bucks. It had dried bean curd in it, decent portion size and a nice spicy kick. Special sushi rolls are a bit more steep in price and though very tasty they can be a bit small for the price. At least for right now, Unilocal has a deal where your first check in unlocks a 10% off coupon you can present to the restaurant.
