The food is great. It’s Popeyes. I love it. But something particular tonight, there was a blonde white women who said she was a manager in there– she was SO NICE. Friendly, kind, outgoing… I’ve never seen anyone so nice in a workplace in my life! If there was a tip jar I would’ve thrown 20 bucks in it.

Worst Popeyes ever. The women who took my order seemed confused when I was asking what would be a better deal. Every other Popeyes I’ve been to told me there best offers at the time. Messed up my order 3 times after that they forgot my mash and gray and when I got it they didn’t even give me a fork. While waiting for my food I saw a roach. And I ordered an extra wing and they told me it didn’t come with a biscuit. Every Popeyes I’ve ever been to when you order an 1 piece or two piece that’s not a combo you get a biscuit or even two biscuits with the two piece. Didn’t even enjoy my food. Will never return to this Popeyes. I would give a zero if I could.

They just don’t have the turn around for the food. Often the chicken is greasy. I pick up my chicken off the NY Turnpike. Headed for GW Bridge or Back. Always supper fresh and hot.

I haven’t been here in a while and I was in the area so I decided to pay a visit. I liked how they spruced up the place. It seems to be much cleaner. Like other reviewers said, the staff was top notch. And the chicken was perfect, in fact it was delicious.
Of course the prices have gone up so that’s to be expected.
My complaints? Very small pieces of chicken, I did mention it to the counter girl and she gave me 2 more pieces gratis. That’s where Popeye’s excels, customer service.
Even with the loud obnoxious locals they do a great job. BUT they need to keep the freeloaders out, by that I mean the ones who take up a table and not eat anything and the troublemakers who shout that it’s their turn to order. With that being said I may not return anymore and I’m certainly not going out of my way to go there.

This popeyes has to be one of the worst in America. They never have what is advertised in the window it’s either they ran out of it or it’s still frozen. This place needs to close down ASAP

I love this place because the chicken sells fast so it’s always fresh. I like how they re-​designed the store. The female cashiers are very nice and attentive. I been getting my chicken at this place since it open. It’s only gotten better. Enjoy!!!

Quick! Fast food much better then KFC! I love their breaded chicken. Fries. And more! Usually come here once or every other week for a bucket. The people that work here are wonderful and very helpful when ordering!

Okay, I just left a bad review for Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken which made me appreciate Popeye’s Chicken even more. So I had to come here and show them some love.
$ 14 for 14 pieces? Doesn’t get any better than that. I can’t really judge the ambiance or the service/​staff because I’m literally in and then OUT. Fast, no wait, no lines, and DA BOMB fried chicken. You can choose your legs and thighs as well unlike the Popeye’s located in Brooklyn 8th avenue.
I can always rely on Popeye’s for a Fried Chicken fix… SPICY ONLY!

I love this place. Their staff has to be the most amazing group of individuals ever. Their food is always fresh and their biscuits are to die for. I like the fact that there are free refills. I recommend you to eat here but I mostly recommended you to go back. You’ll love it.

First, I have to say I’m a fried chicken fan and I only heard about Popeye’s from friends in N.J. Then they open one on Forest Ave in Staten Island, NY. Now, I know what spicy fried chicken is supposed to taste like! Every time I’m in that area I never pass by with out stopping in and have thier Spicy Louisiana Style Chicken Mac & Chese and Biscuit. There are free refills. Parking is easy and I never have to wait for seating. So two thumbs up on the food. 4 out of 5 times I have been there the place was clean and that’s a lot to say about NY fast food restaurants.

Shit’s delicious. Best bang for your buck. 2 pieces chicken (go spicy!) and one of their magical biscuits is all you need really. They always have pretty sweet specials. Completely unpretentious too. I’ve had «Blue Ribbon» chicken from Brooklyn Bowl… supposedly the best fried chicken in NYC, which was like 8x the price of Popeye’s, and it wasn’t even as good. Don’t even compare to KFC… Popeye’s is streets ahead.
