UFC GYM West Shore Plaza

Haven’t been here since the summer, but I loved the classes they had and it was great that they incorporated so much CrossFit-​style training. I really feel like I got my money’s worth. The staff was energetic and inspiring too, ‘El Tigro’ is the man!

I originally was intimidated to go here cause I thought it might be a little too hardcore for someone like myself who has never worked out before. I walked in to try a class and saw regular people similar to me. A breath of fresh air.
I wasn’t just joining a gym to solely learn to fight. I wanted to join a place where I can learn as I get fit and feel comfortable and not pressured while doing so. I currently take a few high intensity interval training classes with Hila each week and personal training and beginners boxing with Josh. Considering the most I have ever worked out in my life was for a month at a time, I am now 6 weeks strong and loving it. They are both incredible trainers and people as well. I constantly thank them for helping me continue to transform myself physically and mentally. Eventually I will move more into advanced boxing and mma but for now, this has been nothing short of perfect.
The best part is how many classes there are so anyone can fit this into their schedule. I was doing Capoeira in Jersey previously, which I loved, but it was just too much with going all the way there and at the only times they had classes. One day I will add that back to my repertoire.

Only been a member for a short while; but this is a great place. The guys who work there are really chill and helpful.

Absolutely love this gym! It’s a totally different workout than any other place. The variety of classes always keeps it fun and motivating. I’ve worked out at my share of gyms and never felt like I had any direction. In one class you can do a complete workout for your entire body. Also everyone that works there is very approachable and informative. Always clean! Great place!

Totally different then Crossfit and your ordinary gyms. They have something for everyone! There is a mini weight gym for those that want to just lift some weight. There is a cardio section where you can practice yourself or do a class with the coaches & boxing station to practice boxing. There is also a Jacobs ladder to climb up. And a cage to practice your fighting skills! The prices are reasonable as compared to crossfit and your standard gyms. Go in for a free class and experience it yourself! Keep up the good work!

This place is awesome! After years of slowly gaining weight and becoming upset with my body, I finally decided to change things around and join UFC. I have had memberships at other places like Planet Fitness and the YMCA, but nothing had motivated me to really change my ways, until I joined UFC.
What initially prompted me to join this gym was the big octagon fighting ring right in the front. When I went for my first class, Freddy kicked my butt so hard I went home practically in tears! But I kept coming back, and I think what made me keep coming back when compared to other gyms is that the trainers and staff here almost become like family. They are genuinely concerned for you and take interest in your goals and progress. Everyone is there to help you, and that attitude really shows through and makes you feel welcomed. And maybe most importantly, the classes are a ton of fun.
In 4 months of coming between 3−5x a week, I’ve managed to shed 15 lbs and 2 pants sizes. This is the first time in my life I’ve been successful in losing weight and exercising, and it’s all thanks to trainer Freddy and the rest of the awesome staff at UFC. I’ve never been a «gym person», hated exercising and hated dieting even more. But now I find myself at the gym 4−5x a week and loving every minute of it. The classes are hard, but you will be happy.
If you have any doubts, call them and ask for a free trial class. Stop down to one of Freddy’s classes and push yourself. If someone like me can change, so can anyone!

I was a member at PF. Not anymore. This gym is awesome. The Staff members are an awesome group of people that you can talk to. Members are friendly. Some of us are pretty close it feels like a family. The gym, equipment and bathroom/​locker rooms are clean. Many classes offered and personal training as well. You will not be disappointed.
