Sometimes I get a craving for junk Chinese food and will make the stop up here for noodles and chicken. It’s your typical mall Chinese food. They are usually passing out samples of the dese me chicken. The portion sizes are huge and I will admit that I end up wasting about half because it doesn’t reheat real well but 6 dollars for lunch is not bad given the amount you eat. I’ll still stick to my staple when I want good Chinese food but don’t knock this place just know what you’re getting in to.

Boyfriend and I stopped here last night for a quick and cheap meal before Christmas shopping. If you get your order as a carry out you actually get twice as much food! So we ended up splitting the 2 entrees and vegetable fried rice. We got sesame chicken and bourbon chicken. We also got a egg roll and small pop to split and our meal was $ 10($ 6.99 without pop or egg roll) Meal was very good. Not authentic Chinese food by any means but it did hit the spot. Boyfriend like the bourbon chicken but I thought it could taste the grill burnt marks too much for my liking. Skip the egg roll. Nastiest thing I ever ate. Also beware of the soup. Looked like it was sitting in the hot case too long and was solidified. Didn’t look like it got stirred in awhile.

Pretty good, and this coming from a rabid Panda Express fan.(not sure if «rabid» is the correct word here, but you get my point, lol.) My boyfriend lives nearby and he took me here today, it’s his favorite mall restaurant. A 2 meat and one side dish plate is $ 6.99, which I think is cheaper than Panda and is also not a bad deal. I got their sesame chicken which is pretty much orange chicken, the bourbon chicken, and veggie fried rice. The orange chicken aka sesame chicken was very good, the bourbon chicken was okay. Somerset Collection in Troy used to have a great bourbon chicken place and that chicken was better than this, but unfortunately that place closed down a few years ago. The fried rice was okay too, but I was so full after all of the meats that I only ate a little bit of it. I don’t really live near this mall but I would come back when visiting him or in the area. You get a lot of food for $ 6.99 so in my book that’s a good deal.

Not as good as panda express. Thrilled that you can buy just the meat now. Awesome for all the low carb people out there. Wish there were more dishes not battered. Overall not a bad lunch. Quick and just 4.69 for a big container of a meat choice.

Lets just say if this place ever closed down I would probably cry. I always eat here when I am shopping at the mall. Sometimes I will try to convince myself to eat somewhere else but soon as I get a sample Im sold. Same guy is working almost everytime I go there and he is super nice!

LoL, I’m surprised to see this place on here. This is your classic Chinese food in the mall food court. You know the kind where you purposely go out of your way to walk by for the free sample of General Tso’s chicken on a toothpick. «Thank you ma’am, it’s delicious. I’ll come back after I shop» I say this thinking that I’m getting a free sample and quitting while I’m on top — but I admit I usually do return after I shop. What can I say the sweet goodness of that sample sweet & sour chicken just sticks to your tongue — urging your taste buds to just go back and splurge. The basic thing everyone get’s here is «2 meat, 1 rice.» This is the coined phrase the Chinese staff have adopted to describe their all-around winner of a plate involving 2 heaping scoops of meat dishes and an indulgent triple USDA serving size portion of rice. The«meats» range from the obvious choices such as mushroom chicken, pepper steak, spicy chicken, sweet & sour chicken, General Tso’s chicken, etc. The rice is pretty standard fried rice. You can pick noodles too — but I think you get more for the $$$ with the rice. I pour some of their hot oil sauce and soy sauce over my food as well :-) For a $ 5 – 6 meal that you can split with a friend and satisfy your crappy Chinese food craving — this place is a hit for mallrats! Go ahead, get some egg rolls and soup with it, too!
