They could not price match to their OWN website’s prices. So I asked the girl, «So I have to buy this online and come back to pick this up at the store?», she responded, «Yea you can do that». I just see inconvenience and poor customer service. BestBuy and Staples even do price matches towards
now. Good luck, Office Depot.

Awful service.
Ordered 5 desks last year, took 2 months for the order to get right. We had to stop dealing with the store, started dealing with the online department which was even worse to get it corrected. Partial shipment nightmare.
Last week had to order another desk. Online showed in stock. Called store to verify. Ordered 1 desk and two chairs — showed up for pick up and was rudely dealt with.

Out of full disclosure, I’m a staples fan but since there are NONE on hall road, office depot was my only option on Monday.
Every employee that passed me or was near me was super friendly & helpful,
My beef was the ramped up prices, as I noticed 2 – 3 of my regular purchased items were $ 2-$ 3 higher here.
Then cashing out, they did NOT activate the gift card I bought [ starbucks ], but at least I noticed it before dropping it in the mail, returned to the register & got it cleared up & activated.

Excellent customer service.
Guy was super helpful. Selection was ok. I bought an L shaped desk and chair. Pricing is fair. Could have saved more if I shopped online
