Came here to try the bottomless mimosa brunch with my friend on the weekend. Service: Our waiter was really friendly and made sure I had everything I needed as I was waiting for my friend to come. They made good recommendations on what to get. Ambiance: Cool looking place on the mile. I like that it has a more modern vibe but you can tell that it’s made for people to come at night. Food: It was okay, nothing too spectacular. I like the various options they gave on the menu but it seemed like just any other place. Nothing really stood out to me when I left. The mimosas were nice though. Stronger than I expected.

II enjoy the environment and music but they abused my debit card. I swipe 3 times and shows 4 and every transaction has added $ 4 tip, that’s $ 12 plus an extra drink charge of $ 10, so take cash or view your transactions. ;)

We were hungry, we were downtown, and we had nowhere else to be — so I seized the day like an obscure 80s movie reference. I was quivering with excitement, or maybe low blood sugar — either way, we were going, at long last, to have a few small plate items from the menu that were presented perfectly cooked at AVE on the Mile

So it’s my first time here for Easter Brunch. Turns out they are charging more then what was online or on their normal Sunday brunch. Well that’s fair… well it wasn’t so fair after all cuz they didn’t have their normal menu but a buffet with limited options. Normally buffet is fun but not in this case. They had two of their main dishes not on chafing dishes so it was cold. The French toast was odd. It doesn’t make sense to have a better menu for your regular Sunday brunch and a mediocre menu for Easter Sunday brunch and charge more The atmosphere and service was nice so may try it again, but the normal brunch.

Wow! What has happened to the Ave? I was there tonight for the restaurant week special. The potatoes were not fresh, they were instant,(we know because they did not have any and then they suddenly did) the asparagus consisted of maybe two spears(they had slice it lengthwise) and stringy, steak was sliced –why? the dessert should have been named coconut brownie, not cookie tort. Two years ago when I went for restaurant week it was awesome. So sad to see this happening.

Had a great New Years here. Food was delicious and our server was great. Always feel like my money is well spent here. Not that many places in Stockton where you can count on there being a nice eclectic crowd and enjoy yourself.

What is the deal with these people. I’ve been calling for the last week trying to get in touch with the owner to discuss my terrible experience here. They don’t answer the phone, don’t call you back, how ridiculous. This place is just awful.

We came here for a friend’s bachelorette party. The drinks were cheap and good! I’d definitely recommend it for a fun night out.

Charged 18 percent for spending over $ 100? Misled because the website says happy hour ends at 6:33pm but actually ends at 5:30? The food was good, but still.

Service was really great. She had a really bright smile with a personality to match as well. Always checking up on us and the service alone was worth 5 stars(although I didn’t give them that). The food was good, but not the best. The tomato soup was probably my favorite part of the meal. Garlic fries were meh, but I love fries in general so it was a tad disappointing. Also had half a tuna melt — pretty standard. Mimosas were great though. Might come back just for those. Although parking in this area of Stockton might keep me from coming back too often.

My newlywed friends used this place to host their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Everything from the drinks to the food to the staff and the DJ were top notch. It’s a small business and the owner was there to welcome us. You could tell that the entire staff cared about us and the guests of honor — even enough to do an encore for the happy couple to dance to. If you have walked by this place in the past, walk in next time.

Read reviews on Unilocal about the Sunday Brunch. Made reservations for 12 last minute & they were able to accommodate us with out a problem. Kevin(the owner) made his rounds & made you feel like you were at home. The food was amazing & the service topped it. A hidden gem to say the least.

Sunday brunch was extremely mediocre and disappointing. The Mac and cheese lacked flavor, the hollandaise was mediocre. The potatoes were ok and the mimosas did flow freely. The house made scone was the best item. The atmosphere was really great as was the staff but not enough for me to return.

Everything looked nice, brunch prices were good with the mimosas BUT eggs were pretty salty and not appetizing. Just ended up eating the fruit & Mac & cheese. The French toast wasn’t bad but I really wish I could’ve enjoyed the eggs. Enjoyed the mimosas tho! I’ll probably come back just for the drinks.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Decided to come here last night to celebrate my birthday. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the owner Kevin who welcome me to the Ave. Kevin was so friendly! It was great to see a owner who is so passionate about his business. Ordered a few small plate from the menu. Everything tasted amazing. My fav was the chicken skewers. A must try!!! Kevin came by a few times to check in to see how we were doing. Ending chatting with him for about 10 – 15 minutes about the restaurant, food and about area. The restaurant itself is beautiful. They have a great bar, indoor and outdoor seating. There’s some super comfy couches you can sit back to relax in or take a sit at a table to dine at. The place is very clean and well maintained. Will be back for sure. Thank you Kevin for making my birthday dinner a great experience!

I was denied service only due to the fact that I have a service dog! The bouncer threatened to kick us out, tried to claim that she was not a service dog because I said she was rescued despite her service dog vest and I told him what service she gives for me. The owner try to convince me that the health code inspectors will not allow it in spite of ADA law. he then told me he would be more than happy to serve me outside at night when it was 60° I will never come here again!

Stopped in here early for a little happy hour with a friend and got lucky because there was hardly anyone inside yet. We sat at the bar and had some appetizers that were 3 stars, but had some yummy drinks that were 4 stars for sure! The bartender was nice and attentive. The décor is nice, but I wonder when it gets full how annoying it is to find community seating in the«lounge» next to strangers. I would return.

Gone here twice and disliked both times. The first time the servers were a little unprofessional and off putting. The food was so so and they were getting ready to change to the night life part of their night. Just kind of disjointed with the day vibe and the night vibe. Wine bar by day, night club by night. The second time I went I sat at the bar and had white wine. The wine we ordered was not even semi cold. I noticed I had a chip in my glass so I mentioned it to the bar tender and he acted like I was making it up. He then took a hot glass out of the dishwasher and poured my remaining wine into that glass. Not happy. I doubt I will ever go back there.

Waiters were really nice and attentive. Went on a sunday an got the 3 course Bottomless mimosas for 18.95. I really only enjoyed the last course which was the cereal Covered French toast! Delish! Our mimosas were basically just orange juice but all well! What do you want with a price so cheap lol I would Go back tho for the attentiveness and Delish French toast!
