Love the amount of food they put(really like the taste) and is reasonably priced. My to-go place when I’m craving something savory.

My family & I have been coming here for years! Food is always fantastic and you get more than what you pay for. The owners are lovely people who are always sweet to us and have great service. Although it can take upwards of 10 – 15 minutes, it’s good knowing that the food is made fresh!

This by far is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life, I order the number one combination and the chicken was hard as a rock, rice was dry, chow mein was soggy, sweet and sour pork tasted like sweet and sour gizzards, my dog wouldn’t even eat this GARBAGE!

Best Chinese food in town. best prices and they fill you up. 5 star and this coming from me is really unusual because I’m a picky person. But I’ve been coming here for years since I’ve moved back to stockton

This review is solely for their customer service as I never made it past the initial phone call. I was feeling under the weather & wanted soup. I remembered this place is real close to where I live so I figured I would call & order wonton soup. The lady who answered asked me to call back in 15 mins. Um no… I’ll call somewhere else that actually wants a customer.

Chow-to-go is my default quick fix for when the Chinese food bug bites! This little hole in the wall, is a jewel for great food for a very reasonable budget. The husband and wife team are very friendly, and wait time is not too long, considering they can tend to be busy most times during prime feeding hours. Best part of it all is, I never had a bad choice on what to devour. I loved everything I have ever ordered. I have tried most items, but I have to say it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. I do seem to default to the wonton soups on cold nights.

I read the reviews online and decided to come here after a year of curiosity because the Chinese place my mom likes in Lodi was closed. I was a little iffy because it seemed to be mixed reviews, but I was very happy to find out how nice and good this place was. When I called, the lady whom seems to be the owner was incredibly chipper and easy to talk to. She took my order with no issues and helped ease my concerns about feeding ten people. After 20 – 30 mins, I went and picked up my order and she was just as chipper/hyper. At home, everyone loved the food and the first half of the shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mien, Mongolian beef, and Kung pao chicken was gone so fast. I would definitely come back to this place again.

First thing is there online menu prices are not the same as there real prices. The meat is questionable the chicken in the fried rice and chow mein looked more like cat or pigeon it was definetly not chicken. The inside is empty and the floors were filthy! DONOTEATHERE!

Omg I love this place! I got the A4 from the lunch specials which includes 3 fried prawns, pork chow mein, pork fried rice, and sweet&sour pork. It was delicious! The price wasn’t so bad either(even thought they did go up). Great place to go for lunch!

Was making a stop in Stockton and checked to see what was one of the highest rated Chinese restaurants nearby and this one popped up. I was in the mood for a Chinese favorite, the Chow Fun. It was amazing. The meat was perfectly tender and texture of the noodles tasted really fresh. Will definitely be recommending this place to others. This place can really use a remodel though, but I guess this is working for them as this place was packed for dinner… For take out.

I was searching on Unilocal for Chinese food in Stockton and this is one of the restaurants with the most stars. I ate here today to see what the hype was all about. I had to call the place twice. The first time there wasn’t an answer, the second time(I called about 10 minutes later) a lady answered, took my order, and told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived to the restaurant about 30 minutes after I called in the order and it was ready. She told me it was going to be $ 6. Before I ordered I looked at the menu on Unilocal and online and it was only $ 4 something, turns out they have raised their prices. It ended up being $ 6.50 because they charge an extra $.50 for using debit/credit card. I left, went to my apartment, and ate my dinner. I honestly wasn’t that impressed. I don’t get what all the hype is about. The portions were good sized. The food was good, but it wasn’t anything spectacular. I may try it again, I may not

I have decided this is my least pleasant Chinese food experience in Stockton. It put me in a foul mood for the rest of the evening. It’s a tiny to-go place sandwiched between two great restaurants, Shirasoni Japanese Steakhouse and Bangkok Thai. It’s also diagonal from super busy Adalberto’s. I figured it would be a good quick place to grab some Chinese take-out. The reviews seemed decent and another friend mentioned they were pretty good. Maybe I went on an off night, but I am NEVER going back. I ordered from home and told them I would pick it up. My BF placed the order for Szechuan Chicken, Vegetable Chow Mein and Mongolian Beef. I stressed NOONIONS in the Mongolian Beef(because then it turns into a huge plate of slimy chunky large onions overpowering a few thin slices of beef). He repeated that request twice and confirmed with the person taking the order. I went to pick it up and the food was ready — They are super fast! I was greeted very sweetly by the lady at the register who welcomed me and had the food boxed up and tied up tight and ready to go so I didn’t open the boxes and make sure she got our order right… I really should have. I got home and the veggie chow main looked fine except there were very few veggies. The Szechuan chicken was heavily breaded, deep fried and smothered in a sweet very«gloopy» red sauce and there was one, maybe two, big chunks of zucchini and a few big chunks of carrot. At first I thought she gave us somebody else’s sweet and sour chicken order or something, but my BF mentioned that some places like to drown their Szechuan in breading and sauce — weird. Now comes the horror. I opened the beef, and lo and behold, a massive pile of huge chunky slimy yellow onions were laughing in my face with a few slices of strangely contorted beef gasping for air beneath the weight of the onion heap. Sadness and rage overwhelmed me. I called and the lady claimed that my BF didn’t say«no onions.» I told her I was standing next to him when he ordered so I know he specifically said it. So she said she would make another batch and I could come pick it up. I did go get the new batch and there were no onions this time. But, I think I discovered why they normally overload it with onions. The onions cover up the bad quality and funky smell of the mystery meat they are calling«beef.» eeeek! p. s. the fortune cookies were stale too.

Great service, delicious food for cheap! It’s a hole in the wall and the owners are really nice. I highly recommend the honey walnut prawns! Came here for a quick lunch and the food and service is outstanding.

To start off I will say that this is my new favorite take out place! I was incredibly hesitant to try this place until some reviews encouraged me to check it out. I didn’t call in my order like some suggested but it was no inconvenience at all because they cooked the food up fast and fresh for me! The lady at the counter was INCREDIBLY nice and patient with me as I looked over the menu. I ended up settling for a combination plate of chow mein, garlic chicken and fried prawns. I surveyed the place as I waited, and it was clean and modest. Just like I expected. Shortly after my food was ready and I damn near skipped out of there like a happy little kid(Chinese food is my sweetest addiction). The food was hot and fresh and DELICIOUS! Very greasy but oh my goodness I just about wanted to hug and kiss my takeout box because it satisfied me in a way no one ever could!!! I also love supporting small businesses, especially when the staff is so nice! And they take card! 5 stars Chow to Go! I loved every moment of it!
