This restaurant is no longer operating under this name… it is now called the GRANDBUFFET

I hate how my parents love to come here all the time. I’ve been coming here ever since it opened. I thought the food was good but now i hate it. It’s like an alright Chinese Buffet to go to with your family. The food is pretty oily and salty. There are a lot of seating and it’s clean. Their service is great because they always refill your drinks. Price wise, it’s a decent price for a buffet.

I will never again go there the food was nasty and it look like the lady had to keep turning the food to make it look good the price was good for lunch but at the table they charge you for the drinks I was better off going to Denny’s for lunch

I love seafood, so I love this place! Crab legs, sea bass, oysters, mussels, clams, shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp. All kinds of Chinese food and fresh soda. All of it tastes great. I can’t say much for the staff, they keep your soda full but aren’t much for being friendly. Oh well, I’m not there to make friends I’m there to get my moneys worth! Lol

This is a good buffet. That is saying a lot since I am not a big buffet fan. My brother brought me here for lunch and I was impressed. The place is clean and the seating was a plenty. The food was well made, for buffet standards, and the selection was wide spread. The food was tasty without the greasy feeling you usually get at a buffet. The price was pretty average as far as buffets are concerned. But the service was better than most buffets which makes the price well worth it. They waiting staff keeps your drinks full and are around when you need extra napkins, straws, or silverware. All in all I would have giving them a 5 star if I was more interested in buffets. If you like a buffet I would recommend this place to you.

For a Chinese buffet it’s ok, the food is tasty, hot and I didn’t find it to be to greasy. The staff keeps your drink full. The only thing I found wanting was you had to ask for more napkins. No Biggie. It’s a place to go back to.

Price: Average price for a mid-range Japanese/Chinese buffet…$ 14.99? Food: I was quite surprised on selection of sushi they offered and a reasonable amount of fish in each roll. Everything was nothing to be excited about. Atmosphere: Seats were flat! and carpet really needed cleaning but the food looked fresh as it was quite busy… always it seems when I was there. Service: It was decent… refills were done in a timely manner. Comparison: Definitely a nod above Garden Buffet overall. Food is fresher, cleaner atmosphere, and near the mall.

The atmosphere of a nice restaurant, but it’s a Chinese food buffet. The food is good, especially their grilled option. Last time I went it was a little over 10, which was worth it. I only went here for lunch, but it was still busy. Not saying that’s bad, it’s good to know other people like this place.

I’ve been to Oriental Buffet several times over the years and every time i go, they’re always packed. ok, so maybe i’m there on weekends, but regardless of the time(early/late lunch, early/late dinner) it’s pretty packed. the food is consistantly pretty good, as far as buffet food goes. key word, *consistant*. there’s a good variety of foods from sushi to seafood to salads and fruit. the crab legs are always gone and there’s never time for the legs at the bottom of the pan to soak up the salt water. phew. the price is reasonable, the food is pretty good(hey, its a buffet!) and the crew is pretty attentive. i’m a happy camper. 4 stars.

We went to Oriental Buffet on a Saturday late afternoon, we had 5 kids and 4 adults. My first problem was there wasn’t a table large enough for all of us to sit together. The In-Laws had to sit at another table, we were stuck with the kids. The food was ok, there was plently of it… from crab legs, sushi, tons of shrimp, salad… fruit… The mother in law went mad nuts for the crab legs. I went after the shrimp… there were about 10 different kinds of shrimp. My complaint is the food is so high in sodium. The next day I was so sick, and my bowels were very unhappy. Not bad for the price… dont take a lot of people… the waiters try to look happy but they really arent.

My Christmas dinner. Serious my family goes here on Christmas day to eat! We are traditional Catholics that just don’t cook. If you go here during lunch the price is cheaper. My only pet peeve is, parents just don’t know how to control their kids here. I swear every-time I go here, there is always a baby or some kid crying. It’d be nice to eat my Chinese all you can eat glutenous meal in peace.

The king crab legs were good, but not great! The crab were better seasoned! The butter shrimps were OK, but the full fried shrimps(can’t remember what they are call — the ones with the head, deep fried tempura stile) were too dirty! The breaded shrimps were the best! I give them a three because there is nothing else similar to this in the area. In-expensive, OK food, family friendly. Actually, quite a bit of variety for a family meal… They got pizza — lol! Dinner on a Saturday was about $ 11, you can get a plate to go for about $ 10.75… Very friendly staff, just a little hard to understand! I would be back when I’m back in Stockton!

(will edit soon) The hotspot for families with budgets, voracious appetites, and total disregard for their health, Oriental Buffet has it all. Great if you’re here on Sundays and all you want are the copious amounts of king crab legs. Everything else is mediocre. The floors are always sticky, so please don’t let your rugrats run or roll around on it. Stocktonians are being inundated with all sorts of these«oriental» buffets(serving chinese and japanese, and even american dishes), so we’re all getting fat, sickly, and developing diabetes and hypertension. The medical/pharmaceutical/weight-loss industries should thank y’all for increasing their clientele.
