They are getting worse. Ordered 4 item one being white rice. They did not put in in the bag when I called to complain they had a ton of excuses. Also the place was almost empty so being busy was not a answer. Oreder chicken with ginger. NOGINGERNOTASTE, Ordered pepper steak. Almost NOSTEAK all vegetables. I have eaten here may times. They are going down hill. Time to look for another place. There sister store Fusion Taste is no better

I have been here 4 – 5 times. It defies logic. Food is excellent. Service and People are awesome. But it is a Small, tight and busy. Eat in or take out both give you a feeling of great satisfaction. When you get home as I did last night, everybody loves what you brought home and you feel good because you know you saved a couple of bucks over the usual Chinese restaurants you frequent. Smart money’s on Sato II.

I doubt I will order from here again. Lo Mein was sweet, as if they added 2 or 3 spoonfuls of sugar. Pan fried shumai could have been good but they had a strange texture. Wonton soup was nothing special other than the crunchy pea pods and carrots.

I’ve been here many times but didn’t think to throw a review out for them until today. Since our office moved to Wakefield, Sato II is my go to for lunch. Sure I’ve been here plenty of times with my wife for dinner but I highly enjoy the lunch specials. The portions are large and for the price, definitely worth it. They do not give you a soup if you order the lunch for takeout but not a deal breaker. If you are dining there, the place is a little small, but they have bar. The service and food are excellent. I’ve had almost everything on the menu for both the chinese food as well as japanese. Food comes out fast and always looks amazing. They opened another location called Fusion Taste in Stoneham as well. The place is larger and décor there is a little fancier, but it’s basically the same menu.

First time customer. I’ve always been wary of this place based on its outer appearance. I decided to give it a try after reading some of the positive recent reviews. Very friendly and helpful on the phone. I got two maki rolls for take out and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and reasonable prices. I would go back.

My husband and I went for dinner last night. The place was pretty much empty but the service was good and the food was good. Very fresh. Best sushi I’ve had in a while.

Sato II might be my favorite Chinese food establishment. It’s certainly in the top 3. It is small, but they deliver! Fantastic fresh & tasty food. It is always hot. Service is great. Always hot and fresh(and large portions) for take out! I highly recommend.

Excellent sushi! I love this place whether it’s going into the quaint restaurant or ordering takeout. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend their Dragon Maki Roll, especially if you like sweet and spicy sushi rolls.

I came in with a three adults and two babies on a Friday night. I got a couple sushi rolls and we split some dumplings and everything tasted great! The atmosphere was also very kid friendly and the bar was bumping(with what appeared to be drunk townies, but whatevs). We’re moving to Stoneham, so I was happy to find this place since this could make for some fun nights out with the hubby and baby!

Ordered a General Gau’s lunch special. I wasn’t really impressed. The chicken was not good. Not the worst I’ve had, not even close, but I don’t think I will order again.

Sato II had an extensive list of Japanese, Polynesian, and Chinese menu items. The sushi was about a 7/10, and the Basil Chicken entrée was an 8⁄10. Correlation is certainly not causation, but my girlfriend was sick to her stomach later that night. Overall, the dining experience was positive.

I love this place :) For starters, I have pretty much only ever been to Sato II on a Friday or Saturday and have never had a problem with there being a wait. The waiters are attentive and the food arrives promptly. As for the atmosphere, it’s pretty tiny, not remarkably decorated, and the crowd isn’t the most«trendy»…So if your opinon on places rests heavily on those aspects then you will disappointed. BUT, If you like funky sushi you should definitely give it a try. Their specialty sushi is awesome! I recommend the«kiss the fire» if you like spicy and are feeling adventurous. It’s a cool low key place.

Ordered delivery. Estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. Order showed up 2 hours later. Order was incomplete. Called the restaurant to get the rest of the order. The restaurant said they were too busy to complete the order. They would not refund me for the missing items. Never ordering from this place again.

This is probably partially our fault because we decided to go to a Chinese Restaurant on New Years Eve. Judging by the stacks of take out bags, we should have gone that route… We ordered some of the usual popular dishes, boneless spareribs, generals gau’s chicken, crab rangoon, fried rice. It came out fast… too fast… within 60 seconds of ordering. The spareribs were cold, not even lukewarm and the crab rangoons were marginally better. I told our server that the spareribs were cold and she simply picked them up without a word, and brought us a new plate 5 minutes later… still cold. At this point the waitress is ignoring us so we eat the food that is semi-warm. Meanwhile it tastes little better than something you’d get at the Chinese place in the food court at the mall, likely because it was sitting out back under a heat lamp for hours.

After reviewing all the rave reviews and drool worthy photos, I decided to get takeout from here. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of my meal was nowhere near what I expected. The miso soup was so bland that even two soy sauce packets couldn’t do the trick. I also got the red dragon maki and Idaho maki. Again, both had very little flavor. For what I paid, I would have expected better. Not to mention, I think I feel a rumble in my tummy.

This is the best sushi I’ve had in the Boston area. Love the sweet potato and spicy tuna! The tuna tartar appetizer with avocado is also delicious. Chinese food options are great too!

Sushi is descent, atmosphere is drab, run down, and the girls working there were preparing what looks like crab rangoons at a table in the dining area :/. I thought maybe this should’ve been conducted in the kitchen. Its a very small place, water spots on the ceiling, stains in the menu. There’s many room for improvement. The waitress got our drink orders quickly, but our food took longer than expected with only one sushi chef on staff it seemed, then the waitress who brought our food who was different from the one that took our order took long to bring our food and forgot to give us soy sauce. I’d expect it to be at every table and not asked for. Overall, it’s an ok place. If you’re looking for ambiance, look elsewhere. Staff can be more attentive and the place needs to be cleaned up and updated. Not sure if I will be back. I was pretty close to walking out after walking in, but felt I needed to give it a chance before judgement.

First time here & most definitely won’t be the last!!! The food was so fresh & so incredible from the first bite to the last! The tea was freshly brewed and very hot… yum! The green beans were my favorite dish… wowww…so good!!! Sushi was incredibly fresh and so tasty! As if that wasn’t enough, they have a full bar and make strong, veryyyy good tasting, drinks! Service…10 stars! Yes it might be small inside, but that just adds to the charm of this place. Such a great find & it was by accident! Can’t wait to go back!!!
