Beautiful facility, beautiful grounds, delicious wine, friendly employees, and an informative tour. Sunday the weather was perfect. I really enjoyed the visit.

Such a wonderful winery. We have twin girls that are 2.5. We wanted to go up to Fredericksburg for the day and enjoy a picnic while drinking delicious wine. Right from the beginning, we were welcomed with open arms. We chose a delightful array of cheeses, crackers, and meats. The staff helped us pick a great wine to go along with our pairings. There was plenty of space to lay a blanket down and let our girls run around exploring while we drank our wine and ate. The bistro was so delicious and had Mac n cheese with prime rib for the girls! They tore it up! Such a relaxing and beautiful experience. We will definitely be back!

Hands down my favorite vineyard in Fredricksburg. The staff are so knowledgable and warm. They always make me feel welcomed. I’ve been here both in the spring and winter. The spring was just breathtaking. The lavender was in bloom and we sat outside with some cheese and wine and just took in the scenery. Was here this past weekend for a bachelorette party and it was wonderful! They moved us into a separate building for our wine tasting. All of us loved it and their wine is just wonderful. This is place is so pretty and worth the drive. I highly recommend it!

The wine selection is pretty large and you get to pick the 6 wines to taste plus keep the glass for $ 15. My favorite was the Cabernet-Merlot. The serving staff was very friendly and gave good suggestions on things to do and where to go. One thing they didn’t tell us is there are tasting spots outside which would be amazing on nice days. Overall I would recommend this place.

this place seemed to be so big it didn’t matter about two people there just for a couple of glasses of wine. Our first server ask us where we were from then trashed talked my home town. She also wasn’t knowledgable about the wine. There was German sample bar type food, very tasty. The gentleman server, inside, was knowledgable about the wines and helpful in our choices. But, he was waiting in 2 other couples. Overall, if you want big and flash this is the place. If you want one on one and more time to enjoy your wine there are other places down the road.(late post, we went Aug 2015)

Crowded, slow service, no attention from hosts. And, the tasting is overpriced. Cut the price and skip giving me the the so called high end crystal glass. Won’t be back.

Wonderful experience with Lee at Becker Vineyards. My family and I had the privilege to come during a slow time of day, so we got some great attention. Wines were good, and the venue was even better. While some places are 15 bucks for 5 one oz samples, this one provides 6 sometimes 7 and you can keep the awesome glass. Going to buy a bottle and enjoy it in the courtyard next time. Also would like to come when the grapes are still on the vine.

Went to this on one of the vineyard yours. Was not impressed. The lady in the front was rude! It was very unorganized. The other vineyards or tasting rooms we visited that day had greeters at the front Welcoming you to the facility.

Becker Vineyards was first on our list of hill country vineyards and it was such a great way to start the day. The grounds are large and beautiful! There’s also plenty of outdoor seating areas for you and your group to enjoy each other’s company and your wine. I did the wine tasting for $ 15 and there wasn’t any of the 6 samplings I tried that I didn’t like. The ’12 Clementine white wine and the ’13 Reserve Tempranillo definitely stole my heart though. The wine tasting also comes with a souvenir crystal wine glass which is a nice touch. Definitely put this vineyard on the list if you’re in the area!

From all the previous couple of reviews from 2015, im just now reviewing one of the most versatile vineyards that carry an array of different grapes, but an extensive profile, adequate space, friendly and knowledgeable tour guides, and never-ending complementary appetizers. *Under construction

Worst winery I’ve ever been to. Terrible customer service, and the wine tasted like antifreeze.

We have been coming to Becker for over five years and were club members for a couple of years. Participated in the wine harvest and vintner dinners. Quintessential Texas winery with the finest wines in the area and great hospitality. Dr Becker and Bunny are wonderful people, very invested in the product and it shows. They make Texas proud around the world Texas wine will probably never compare to Napa or much less France in quality or tradition but little by little they are making their mark and Becker is leading the way A must visit if you’re traveling through Texas

A beautiful wine tasting room. I found the prices are much higher than at the HEB grocery store in Fredricksburg. A bottle of Viognier at the winery was $ 23. At the market it was $ 12.50. Still it is a nice stop along the wine trail.

Came on wine club weekend so we didn’t get to the larger store. Loved the pavilion chilling with friends. Had a bottle of Culinaria & Muscat Canelli Amabile. Beautiful scenery with lavender & zinnias.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They give mini tours behind the scenes. The wine tasting sampler is an easy way to taste locally grown and locally produced. Nice gift shop on the way in.

Becker Vineyard used to be my favorite vineyard to visit. I recently had a horrible experience at the vineyard. I went with my friends and family on May 14th for my bachelorette party. We got off the party bus, walked into the establishment and one of the employees had a look of disgust on her face. The ladies and guys a part of my party were looking around because most of them were from Illinois and Michigan. I went to the employee who had the look of disgust and asked to taste 2 wines. Not only did this person give me attitude, but was very rude in telling me they don’t do 2 wine tastings, you have to buy 6. As she was speaking, I just walked off and went to my Man of Honor and told him to not purchase anything, let’s go because I don’t appreciate the way I’m being treated by this employee. Needless to say, we left. It was a horrible experience and I will NEVER purchase anything from Becker or go there again. The sad thing is, I truly use to love this place and they missed out on a large purchase of wines. It’s ok, because the next vineyard we went to, was MUCH better and we spent A LOT of money there.

Where do I begin? So many great things to say… but I don’t want to write some long-winded diatribe. Here’s what you gotta know: — Adorable vineyard — Great wines — Beautiful space — Knowledgeable sommeliers — Expansive lavender and poppy fields — Extra products from said flowers — Hill country at its finest — Great award winning wines — Super secret wine cellar All of these things do a great vineyard experience make. I’d come back here anytime and bring buddies.

The two times I have been here for a wine tasting, this place has been packed. At times it can be hard to get a sample, but they have an indoor and outdoor area that you can juggle between. For the most part, the volunteers do a good job about explaining the different wines but it can be hard to hear them inside and the ones on the outside seem less experienced. I like that they have a large variety of wines to sample from and have beautiful outdoor seating. They usually have a live band that adds to the jovial outdoor ambiance. I liked Becker because it is not as pretentious as some of the other Highway 290 wineries. This is a place where people who appreciate wine can come together, taste wine, and have a great time. You can even buy bottles there to enjoy on the premises. They often also have food trucks so you can enjoy food with your wine. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for novice wine tasters like me! Very un-intimidating and friendly folks here!
