Excellent breakfast. Fantastic pancakes. Love the scrapple well done and thinly sliced. Love the pork roll as well. Newly renovated. Friendly service. Always great! I always go once or twice when I come to sea isle.

Husband didn’t like his pancakes. But I loved the French toast. Pricey, but we’re at the beach.

There are no pancakes better anywhere than Uncle Bill’s. I have been coming here my whole life, I’ve taken out of town guests here, and everyone agrees that the pancakes at Uncle Bill’s is 2nd to none. Their service is usually very quick and they rarely mess up an order. Even though the line can get long they move people in and out pretty rapidly. They also have a screened porch for those who like to eat outside instead of inside. The eggs and other menu items are just average, so if you are looking for an omelette or eggs, I would go elsewhere but if you are in the mood for pancakes, Uncle Bill’s literally has the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. When I ask for crispy bacon, it comes out super crisp which is nice. I don’t go anyplace else for pancakes because why get worse pancakes than Uncle Bill’s? I’m a huge fan, been coming here forever and have never had better pancakes anywhere.

Uncle Bills is my moms and a family favorite when we are in the area, winter spring summer or fall(this location is seasonal so check they are open if your trying to go in the winter) I also go for chocolate chip pancakes and they are great! My moms go too is the strawberry pancakes! No matter what you get it will be delicious. The pork roll comes with such amazing flavors you will never want to get it elsewhere. The place is always clean and tidy even being so close to the beach. The staff no matter when you are there(busy or empty) has a smile on their face, is informative with their menu, and friendly.

The selection and quality are great. Staff is friendly and highly efficient — a credit to the management. It is not cheap. — prices are on the high side. — but this is the shore. Even when packed there is no drop in quality. Gluten free pancakes are great.

Every restaurant at the shore should be as efficient as Uncle Bill’s when it comes to seating guests and having a kitchen run with efficiency and consistency. The food is excellent and priced reasonably also. The pancakes as the name reflects are the star of the show. The potatoe pancakes are unique and very tasty. Even the scrapple is good. You can’t go wrong with Uncle Bill’s.

Service was excellent. The host was so nice, as soon as we were seated she immediately offered coffee. It was a chilly, damp morning and they had the heat set to the perfect temperature. The food was great, as always. This was our first time at this location but we’ve been going to the Wildwood location for years, and once to Ocean CIty. It’s super clean inside. We sat near the window and the white walls and windowsills were literally spotless! It was pretty empty, which is to be expected on a cold, weekday morning in early June. Our waitress was great, she kept the coffee coming :-) and came over a few times to make sure everything was good. We were very satisfied with our breakfast overall. It was very relaxing, we sat a while, our 4 year old is a bit of a slow eater, and didn’t feel rushed at all. Overall, great experience and we will be back next week :-)

Uncle Bill’s in Strathmere is a breakfast tradition. Located directly adjacent to the venerable Deauville Inn, Uncle Bill’s is the perfect place to start the day. And these days it is looking better than ever. My favorite dish here is the Jersey Shore omelet made with cheese and pork roll as the filling. Uncle Bill’s has locations in other Jersey Shore resorts but since Strathmere is my favorite shore town in the world … of course this would be the only Uncle Bill’s location I would go to. It’s open May through September. Give it a try and I think you will like it!

A tradition everytime I’m in Strathmere. The stuffed french toast never fails me and I’m not even a big breakfast eater!

I love Uncle Bill’s as someone who has spent summers down the shore I am very familiar with this place and its various locations. We were seated right away which was great as we were starved. Once seated it took a very long time for our waitress to come by and see if we wanted drinks. Our waitress in particular seemed to be very rushed and sweaty(it was a rainy day not hot at all). Finally she came by we placed our order after nearly thirty minutes. As I looked around more tables were waiting for food instead of eating it. We were never asked about refills and just tossed the check. The person at the checkout asked me how it was I knew she wasn’t paying attention so I sad ehhh not great. She said oh good! would you like to add tip to with the card? Geez never again sorry Uncle Bill hope you are enjoying Florida :)

Yes, Uncle Bill’s is overpriced, filled with shoobies like me, and they make their waitresses wear these awful polo shirt dresses. But you know what? I don’t care. I love their pancakes. They’re light, airy, and buttery. The only thing that would make them even better is if they served them with real maple syrup instead of the fake stuff, but I haven’t seen real maple syrup at any breakfast joint ever, so I guess I can forgive them for that. I’ve also been to the Ocean City and Wildwood locations and have had a bit of wait at those locations. However, I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes for a table at the Strathmere location, even during peak times during the weekend. I hope it stays that way. Shh.

I came across this place while doing an online search for Sunday brunch ideas in Sea Isle City, right next to Strathmere. With surprisingly few options, we decided to check this place out because it got decent reviews. We kept calling to check if there was a wait, but it never went above 5 min which was nice. After one too many brunches when you and your hangover have to wait an hour to sit down, I have learned to stay on top of the call ahead. We arrived and were seated right away. A couple minutes later a waitress greeted us, pot of coffee in hand(+20 points right there). The coffee wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had but it can def be stronger. I ordered the farmer’s omelet and my friend got a combo plate with pancakes, sausage and eggs. They were both around $ 10, which I thought was pretty high considering the portions were not exceptionally large. My omelet was really good, but everything was rolled inside the egg instead of being in the egg which made it difficult to eat. My friend seemed to enjoy her combo plate and said the pancakes were light and fluffy. Another plus for the waitress who brought me some hot sauce as soon as I asked when we placed our order. Overall, this is a solid breakfast/brunch place. Food is pretty good, albeit overpriced, but don’t expect any creative menu options. The menu is very standard aside from a few different pancake flavors.

Had jersey shore omelet(pork roll and cheese) and one of my wifes blueberry pancakes. Everything was good and they are very efficient with the crowds at 11am on a sunday. Even the larger groups didnt appear to wait too long. Two of us cost $ 28 w/o tip, so pretty pricey.

Not to shabby. I have to be honest, I DID expect it to be better based on how much people rave about it but it totally did the job. The pancakes were great which is a plus if you are going to be a «pancake house», and i highly recommend the awesome stuffed french toast. The eggs and breakfast meats were perfectly normal and the service was great. The menu was a little overpriced and if you are staying in Sea Isle I would recommend the Steak-out but you wouldn’t be making a mistake if you came here.

The pancakes were light and tasty. I would eat them again, but the rest of the food was absolutely tasteless and forgettable. The eggs were flavorless, the ham steak was the same. But what was worse was the coffee. I had to stop drinking it because I thought it was a few days old. Terrible. Recommendation: Stick to the pancakes, order juice.

This is the best breakfast option at the shore. The Strathmere location is between Sea Isle and Ocean City, right in front of the Deauville Inn. They have other locations throughout Cape May county. This location is only open in the summer. The pancakes are great, as good as it gets. The only drawback is that the menu is expensive for breakfast.
