Have eaten here plenty of times before, but tonight was bad the manager had to «check» our IDs to order a beer, also the waiter and the manager was very pissy and rude

Ordered a so called bottomless soup and salad thinking that perhaps I would see the waitress again at some point. But alas, no. I asked another person if he would either get my waitress or possibly bring me one more soup. 10 minutes later still no soup. Anyway after complaining to another passing waitress who seemed to actually care the Manager arrived and apologized and sort of made it right with the bill. I never complain unless it is warranted, and don’t complain just to reduce the check like some do. This server should find another occupation that’s all.

The food is good and consistent. We’ve had Jeremy as a server a few times and he is awesome. I will request him from now on.

This place is just a dump. Food sucks. Service is terrible. No here cares about the guests. Lots of issues. Carelessness, and misunderstanding of overall good quality dining. Sanitation codes were broken on multiple levels. Don’t waste your time or money.

I only wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I didn’t go in with high expectations– just a quick, warm, edible meal for my family. Aside from the waitress’s rolling eyes, sighing, forgetfulness, and inability to return in less than 15 minutes… it took 1 hour 20 minutes from sitting to begin eating! By the time the food came it was rubber. My daughter took one bite of her grilled cheese and refused any more(a rarity, I assure you). My son’s enchiladas were nearly inedible so he ate most of my burger and I nibbled on his rice, which was salty and greasy(how do you make rice greasy?!). Then to our dismay, this location charges $ 1 per tiny cup of sour cream–(the size you typically get dressings in) so none with our salsa, our tacos, our enchiladas– none. Once our food finally arrived we had to wait, yet again, because she forgot silverware, then they were out of clean & rolled place settings and needed to prepare some. I can only hope they weren’t cleaned by someone licking them or by wiping them off on a dirty dish towel. The only redeeming factor was the manager saw we were unhappy and cut our bill in half. But this small gesture only prevented me from having to demand a discount for the poor service. And then, if I didn’t think it could get worse my daughter was so grossed out by her meal she projectile vomited all over like Linda Blair. The only thing missing was the head spinning around. It went everywhere– the chair, the floor, my pants, my shoes… Truly impressive. Honestly, her gastrointestinal pyrotechnics were merely the personification of how we all felt about the experience in general. Hell, if I could purge myself of it I would. Apologies to the people next to us, to the kind lady who gave us napkins and tried to console my mortified human waste sprinkler, and to the staff who had to clean up all that mess. Needless to say, we won’t return.

Kind courteous staff, manager Shelley is a great leader and customer relations ambassador. Very clean restaurant. My orders are always correct, fresh and delicious. I think they’ve got a good kitchen. Overall, for the price point, you can’t go wrong. I love the guacamole made fresh at the table and if I want to. add crumbled bacon and cheese it’s a delicious option. Who’d a thought, bacon in my. guacamole? Yum

I decided to join my family for quick dinner at Chili’s after a long day of moving. Now, I used to visit this location weekly about three years ago, when I lived in Streamwood. Back then, it used to be very good. I am aware of the company wide revamp of the menu and I think it has pros and cons. Anyway, we got a table in the bar area and ordered a round of drinks. The drinks came out quickly and we started off with the table side guacamole. After a good fifteen minutes, a young fellow comes out to make the guacamole. I’m not sure if he was new or just wasn’t sure how to make it, but he took forever to make the guac. The guacamole was excellent, as were the salsa and warm chips served with it. The fresh lime juice really gave it a nice flavor. Unfortunately, that was the only good part of the meal. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings, my father the Wings over Buffalo, and my mother the 10 ounce Sirloin. My boneless wings came out soggy and covered in way too much vinegar based buffalo sauce. I’m not sure if the guy messed up mixing the sauce, but it had way too much vinegar to it. I mean a ton, to the point it made you pucker and twitch. My father’s bone-in wings were the same way, he also said they were extremely over cooked. The meat was very dry and it was obvious watching him swig it down with a glass of vino. My mom’s sirloin was ordered medium rare, it came out very close to rare. We all managed to eat the food, as there is nowhere else in Streamwood to grab a bite at 9PM on a Sunday! I think the food needs a serious improvement before I’d give it another shot. The server was definitely nice and accommodating, so no issue there! I also like the ease of paying the bill from the on-table tablet! It makes getting out of there much quicker. I don’t like to post harsh reviews, but this was not a good meal. Maybe it was an off day, not sure. But I am willing to try it again. With the price of food, I’d have to say there’s a lot better places worthy of my money!

Came here with my family for dinner and it took us about 45 minutes to get our appetizers, with our main courses arriving less than five minutes later. Over half of our dishes were either cooked incorrectly or not what we even ordered. No plates or extra napkins were brought out with our appetizers or desserts and we had to remind our server about refills. I understand things can go wrong in the kitchen if a restaurant is understaffed, but the tables around us arrived after us and were almost finished by the time we got our appetizers. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but for how slow it was… The entire experience was a joke. Definitely not planning on coming back anytime soon.

Typical chilis but this one is clean and easy to get in and out of. The new salads are damn good, but the favorite remains the buffalo chicken salad.

I have no idea why they changed their entire menu to Tex Mex. I mean really. Chili’s was our favorite place to go until they decided to ruin the perfect menu. Used to have the best Fajitas around. And they had the best Onion blossom. But that is no more. If I wanted Mexican food I would go to a Mexican restaurant, like the one in that same plaza. Very disappointed!!!

Typical chain restaurant. Had the fajitas for two, definitely have to recommend their new(or newer? Since I haven’t been in a while) pork carnitas. They also upped their ante with a new little tower they serve the fajita sauces and fixings in. The queso dip keeps us coming back :)

Most Chili’s are five star, this one how ever is not, slow poor service, an Asst. Manger that could care less, Raw food, tough ribs you could not take apart or chew. Wrote a detailed email an Monday to the store and corp. Now on Thursday no reply. I hope the other Chili’s have not fell threw the cracks like this one.

Am I the only one who can never remember the difference between a Chili’s and an Applebee’s? In any event, if you go to either you generally know what you’re getting. It’s most likely food that’s high in salt, fat, and calories. It’s generally pretty good too. This one is no exception. I got the Cajun chicken pasta, which is spicier than they say but I like spice so thumbs up there. My kids got chicken fingers which I’m told were really good, and a kids menu pizza which I tried and was surprisingly, actually good for a kids menu pizza. We also had the pretzels as an appetizer and they were good… although the cheese was thick like wallpaper paste. The waitress was pretty great. She brought a drink my kid asked for but added she thought it looked weird so if he didn’t like it she’d switch it out. There was nothing wrong with it; it was what he asked for but he didn’t like it so she switched it out no problem. They also have these little game machines at the tables. For two bucks you can play unlimited games, but even better you can view and pay your bill without waiting for the waitress and I like that a lot! It’s hard to find a sit down restaurant my kids actually want to go to. This is one of them so we’ll be back. All in all a 3 ½ star place but I rounded up because of the service and the bill machine.

The staff was very friendly. I asked to put me in front of the tv to watch the u20 worldcup final and they did they even tilted the tv towards us more. If you are up for an appetizer the classic nachos are a must make sure you say yes when they ask you if you want guacamole I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and guacamole sandwich. The chicken is very tender and the sauce and guacamole give the perfect spice to it. Overall great!

Server was attentive. Overall our experience at this Chili’s has been positive. Menu changes periodically which is good. Food experience has positive, from the chicken sandwich to ribs as well as the burgers and salads. As regards to a local casual restaurant which is a chain, this probably beats them all in the area. Nice atmosphere and positive attitudes among the staff.

I should eat here more often! The service was top notch — friendly and fast! The food was great! This place beat the heck out of the Applebee’s on Barrington Rd in all categories!!!

A solid dining experience on the part of Chili’s! They were really busy for a Tuesday night! I was impressed. We arrived around 7 and got seated right away. I had already perused the online menu, so I knew that I wanted the Oldtimer(substituted with the black bean patty that my friend was raving about) and a salad. The black bean burger did not disappoint! It was very good and had a little bit of a char on it. A welcome change to the normal beef patty. And as always, the fries were hot and well-seasoned. My salad was prepared as requested, and the service was solid. I had a great time, and I have nothing but positive things to say about both the food and the staff! Keep up the good work!
