I’ve driven past King Neptune before and always saw people waiting outside to get in and now I know why. We had dinner there last night; I ordered the cracked conch with tabasco onion rings and my partner had the seafood bisque and a mixed seafood with mushroom pasta dish in a cajun alfredo sauce. Everything was terrific — the fried conch was lightly battered /not heavy and the bisque is among the best you’ll find anywhere. This is a small crowded place and rather noisy but the staff is welcoming and the food makes it worth the wait.

King Neptune never leaves my family and I disappointed! We’ve been coming here for years, due to the quality and staff being consistent. Some of the best Grouper you will ever eat!

We had a bit of a wait, but not a problem-half priced beer, beautiful night, seating at the counter outside. The complimentary salsa was tasty. We ordered a bowl of seafood bisque that was so fantastic-chock full of seafood, creamy, and delicious. Chunks of crab, shrimp, and clams filled you up. We lucked into the All You Can Eat Fish-tender, light, and cooked perfectly. Yum!

Everything is great! The place is tiny but the food is good and the service is too. Don’t care for the salsa though it has a weird flavour.

Had a great dinner with lovely wine tonight at King Neptune. We waited for a table for about ½ hour but it was worth the wait. We were served some drinks outside and they brought us chips and a bean salsa that was delicious. There are only 8 tables in the place but the service is quick but you don’t feel rushed. My husband had some oyster shooters which he loved followed by seafood chowder that was rich and delicious. I got the pistachio crusted Mahi with citrus rice and loved it. My husband got the Shrimp Scampi and he said it was in his top 3 . For dessert a couple we met outside told us to get the pineapple upside down cake which was the highlight of the meal. It was outrageously great. We will go back where I will get an appetizer and the cake and not share. I only gave it 4 stars because the décor could use some updating. The service and food was exceptional.

Best little local seafood restaurant anywhere in Martin County. Locals love it and we try to keep it a secret. Lol

Finally decided to try this place after living by it for a couple months last night and I was in shock. I ordered the lemon caper swordfish and my girlfriend got the pistachio crusted mahi and both were perfect. I highly recommend the cracked conch as an appetizer due to the amazing sauce that comes with it. Great service and the manager was very welcoming while we waited on our table and made sure we had drinks the whole time! Will return weekly it was so good!

We were browsing at a furniture store today where the sales lady out of nowhere asked us if we liked seafood, I told her we did and she said we had to try King Neptune. It was so random, but she planted the seed in my head. It was no surprise that we ended up for dinner here tonight. On walking in, we got a table right away which was surprising as I had read about long lines and hour long wait in Unilocal. We felt very very lucky. The owner’s brother, Patrick, greeted us and sat us down. He recommended cracked conch, conch chowder and char boiled hot snapper stuffed with crab cake. We decided to go with all his recommendations and also ordered blackened mahi mahi. The cracked conch was absolutely delectable, so tender and the portion, generous. The conch chowder was tomato based and loaded with conch. So good! The first bite I took of the hog snapper, sold me. It was better than lobster! The fish was cooked perfectly, and the coconut rice was a perfect accompaniment. Service was outstanding. Patrick checked on us after every course so did both the servers. It was a beautiful evening, we will definitely be back.

Small family owned place but good food. Have been there couple of times, and I enjoyed the food. Good portion sizes. My personal fav’s are coconut shrimp and blackened mahi mahi.

The 2 of us ordered conch fritters(okay as apps because the taste was monotonous and a dinner of them would be too much), fish and chips, and buffalo grouper sandwich. The grouper sandwich was an unremarkable piece of fried fish with hot sauce ladled on top-no special sauce, just hot sauce. The French fries/chips were very good; however, the partnered fish was so soft that it lent a greasy feel and taste. So, back it went and was replaced with a Caesar salad w/blackened shrimp. Meh on the salad and the blackened shrimp had an awful bitter flavor from the grill. To sum it up, it wasn’t worth the $ 38 and definitely not worth a repeat visit.

Finally went to King Neptune after reading reviews about several seafood joints in the Stuart area. I was thoroughly impressed. We ordered several appetizers including oysters, seared tuna, conch and coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious! Great staff too. Owner was on premises and quite friendly, as was the server. Will definitely be returning next time friends visit and I want to show ‘em a great local spot.

Thank you Scott the hairdresser for suggesting this place to us. We’ve eaten elsewhere in Stuart, like Spoto’s and Getting Crabby, that we both love, but this was a nice diversion. Tiny place, so we were lucky to get a table with only a modest wait. Give it a whirl!

This place is so awesome, and the food is so good! King Neptune’s has a friendly wait staff with great service. I love their conch sandwich and jerked mahi sandwich. The sauce the cracked conch comes with is so tasty I always want to put it on everything. They also make a good bisque worth trying. If you have a sweet tooth their key lime pie is yummy! Always fresh ingredients! It’s a small place that may not seem like much from the outside, but I can assure you it’s well worth the wait. It’s good, casual, and reasonably priced, and one of my favorite spots in the area! I’ll definitely be back for more.

We live Neptune! Been coming here for years. Oyster shooters and cracked conch. Can’t. Beat them anywhere. Come either early or late during season it gets crowded fast. You can even bring your own catch and they will cook it how you like it. We do that often in summertime.

Absolutely fantastic find!!! Forgot all about the wait after I took a bite. During your wait the waitresses are more than willing to serve you drinks outside. Many people were picking up take out orders. Chips and Fresh Salsa when you sit down. Fresh, fun food. Fabulous Mahi Mahi. I will dream about it when I am away. Support this local gem!

Get the bisque. Get the bisque. Get the bisque. Did I mention the bisque? Fresh fish cooked well. The tiny kitchen cranks out marvelous food. If you are nearby you should go. Enjoy — Live Love Eat!
