OMG the inside band is so loud!!! Watching girls covering their ears and heaven forbid you try to order anything. No one can understand you.

Sushi was very good, service was excellent (thanks Shayla). Maria stopped by to check on me. Live music, great crowd, awesome view. A Must try when in Stuart Florida

Mostly go here for the atmosphere to just chill and relax. The food is usually pretty good but what is amazing is the pizza and Stromboli is excellent which you would not think so being mainly a fish place. The sushi is hit and miss as well as the service. We have had good service and really really bad service that is why it is 3 stars. Trust me do not sleep on the Stromboli it will not disappoint.

Great location and pictureque views! Surprisingly good sushi. Generous drinks that are very reasonably priced. I would not recommend to order food if you are there late though — the service is not the most efficient in the late hours.

As someone who frequents some of the best restaurants in some of America’s best food cities (New York, Boston, Providence, San Fran, Richmond, etc.) I had high standards for Stuart. People would tell me that some place had the best conch fritters or another had the best ceviche. Not gonna lie, I was consistently disappointed by several places prior to venturing to The Twisted Tuna. I’m happy to say that this was the first place in Stuart that did NOT disappoint! The price was right, the portions decent and the Twisted fries were KILLER! Definitely recommend. The location is great for those traveling both by land or sea.

Not a kid friendly restaurant at all. Owner is rude and just plain mean to children. They treated ours very badly and snatched something out of a 5 year olds hand instead of telling parents. We immediately asked for check and left. On way out we apologized to table next to us and they replied «you’re sorry for what?». Apparently owner was only one bothered.

Why don’t you post our guest check and show that 7 adults had 1 bottle of wine!!!. The second was corked up because we left extremely upset over what had happen to a 5 year old! Secondly, you should perhaps post your state of the art camera feed and let others decide if your manager acted accordingly. Shame on us, for not reading all the negative reviews beforehand! The fact that you took the time to blatantly lie on something like Unilocal shall bring you nothing but KARMA! Read the reviews people!!! We sadly wasted a night out of our Family Vacation on a place like this! HUGE MISTAKE. Perhaps it was because we were Hispanic? It’s discrimination at its best! The food was less than marginal. Hair in one item and the server didn’t ask if we wanted something else. Took over an hour to get a meatball parm sandwich. Only one bartender was covering the full bar as well as the table customers. Plenty of staff handing out Memorial Day beads and hats as well as taking pics that should have been redirected to assist customers.

Outside bar was fun. The conch fritters were good and the dirty mojito was excellent. It’s a party atmosphere in the outside bar so if that’s not your thing come during the day. Good food food drinks and not too pricey.

Here Easter Sunday — nice that they were open service was rather delayed but good people watching so time went by. Good live entertainment and spacious. Food was so so– raw bar about 15% over market so if that’s what you’re into you will pay more– and again for average food. Good drinks and desserts.

Have been going back to this restaurant and there has been a definite improvement over the year. The food is good and the servers are more attentive. We have eaten there for lunch and dinner numerous times now. We enjoy the outside seating and view. Always something going on on the weekends. Usually there is a band or solo singer. A fun enjoyable place.

Food was mediocre. I wouldn’t used the word fresh at all. The lighting and lay out are horrible. The noise bounces off all the walls and it’s hard to hold a conversation. I think sitting out on the dock would be nice but the night we came it was raining. The bar smells like a dirty mop and they made a BAD old fashion.
The server we had was great though, Ryan. He did a wonderful job. Checked in on us frequently and was very quick.

This place has always sucked but it’s getting worse.
If you like your chicken wings rare, stop by soon!

Twisted Fries! These things are amazing! So is the fish dip, sushi, and lobster wrap.
We came by boat and had no trouble docking our 24′ Sea Lark. This will become a regular destination. Enjoy live music from the floating dock/​stage.
In conclusion, come for the twisted fries and stay for everything else.

Not my fave place in the treasure coast, but a-​ok. We went on a whim, my cousin had a gift certificate. Her and her hubs had sushi. My mom and I both had u-​peel-​em shrimp. Nothing wowed me. It was also noisy and raining. On a gorgeous sunset night I bet this place is terrific!

My boyfriend and I visit Stuart just about every month.
Twisted Tuna is always the first place we go. My boyfriend has had the ahi tuna tacos more times than I can count. Every time he has been satisfied. Every single time.
Today we stopped in and I tried the turkey Reuben sandwich-​so delicious and a nice hefty portion for me to have leftovers for later.
The service has always been great for us. I love the laid back energy in this town. We will continue to come back for more deliciousness

Well… We gave it another shot and I ordered the prime rib sandwich. Only was prepared what looked like well done and store beef-​au-​jus-​sauce and not made from scratch in house. I couldn’t finish the 2^nd half! The outside atmosphere was perfect and out server was fantastic! Food on the other hand I would recommend eating somewhere else though.
My sons shrimp were good and had fries with him that were prepped in house from the looks of them. Very good–

Was in town visiting a friend and we decided to stop in here as recommended by her mom. It was a Friday afternoon around 3pm so it shouldn’t have been too busy, but the front staff took a while seating us for some reason.
Our waiter was thankfully more quick and pleasant. We started off with drinks, the one I ordered had real fruit juice, but I unfortunately I don’t recall the name of it. It wasn’t part of their regular menu since was separate from their standard bar offerings/​pre-​mixed selections. They also have rum buckets which my friend’s mom had 2 of — so if you’re into drinking fruity rum drinks, Twisted Tuna is what you’re looking for.
As for food, we shared fried conch which was really good. For the main course I’ll preface this review and say normally I don’t go for fish and chips (ever) but my friend insisted since it was mahi mahi fish and chips that it would likely be good — and she was right! It was hands down the best meal at our table. So, if it’s on the menu when you go GET THIS. You won’t be disappointed.
The outdoor seating area is nice with a view of the water and we saw several people paddle boarding their way through. Definitely be mindful of where you choose to sit outside because the sun at one point it was blaring down even though we had an umbrella.
In short: after a morning at the beach soaking up sun and being in the water, the Twisted Tuna delivered in satisfying the ideal post-​beach hunger and thirst needs.
