Marc Selner, DPM

I had a more than positive outcome from Dr. Marc. That’s what everybody in the office called him at the time because he and his brother Alan had the practice together. It was about 10 years ago now. My bunionectomy went perfectly. No pain, no scar and I wasn’t out of commission long at all. I found the Selners through a recommendation from a friend and I have been recommending him ever since.

A few years ago I saw Dr. Selner for bilateral bunionectomies. I admit, upon entering his office, I was a little shocked. The place was a construction zone, dust everywhere, rickety furniture. I debated whether I should leave. But… my friend who had horrific bunions recommended him so highly that I took her at her word and plunged in… feet first! Well, I am happy I did. The recovery time was minimal. As he promised, I walked out of the surgery center in my Frankenstein shoes. After only a few weeks, with minimal scars, my feet no longer hurt and I could wear most shoes. Unlike the previous reviewer, my experience was positive. The only negative was the condition of his office and the antiquated x-​ray equipment. I’d go to him again. I, too, was asked to try some of his oils but these were for pain. Some had little effect, but one in particular works like a miracle. From time to time my arthritis kicks in and I have a little pain in my right foot. I thought I’d try the old mint oil and immediately the pain abated. I have to remember to give him a call to tell him.

I originally went in to see this foot doctor because he was close to my place of business. Boy was that a mistake. I needed treatment for toe fungus and pain I was having in my calves. The doctor instantly loaded me down with a self produced «oil» for the toe and made molds for my foot. The assistant out front took my insurance. She said I was covered, no problem. I was looking forward to a pain free life. Six moths and $ 750 later, they billed me the entire amount, the insurance didn’t pay for it AND to this day I still have the toe fungus and the pain in my calves. Go somewhere else, this guy is selling snake oil. Don’t learn the hard way like me.
